DAILY CHANCEAnna felt a disturbance in the force as she aimed for another one of the little poms.
Who was it?
Oh a cute harpy!
"Hello Hello." She gave the ghoul a vacant stare, "I'm trying but these little things are quick. I bet there is some Scarse's around to scare them!" She reached in her pocket idly, "Oh and I don't have a charm for them either. Shame."
Her ear's twitched a bit as a familiar scent wafted before her head turned and zoomed on her cousin.
"Ah if you will excuse me..." She said to the harpy looking ghoul...Then beelined for her cousin. "Avery...Aunt said to come and see you."

Guess who was back? That's right! Ruth was back! Of course she just breezed past the Poms, not realizing she was supposed to wait for them to surface. She wanted to try her luck again with the other poms.

Sophie was back with a vengeance. She wanted that special poms and she wanted it now. Rolling up her sleeves and swiping her thumb across her nose, she eyed the water and shot her hand down. Like before, the pom wriggled away and out of her grasp.
Sigh.

Taking the rod, Sophie picked up the bait and fiddled around for a few moments before it fell to the ground. It seemed today's bait was a lot more slippery than yesterday's. She went to grab more, but was given a frown and a shake of the head.

Onto the ice she stepped with careful, albeit shaky feet. Something brushed past her feet and she scrambled out of the way, only to slip and fall onto the hard ice beneath her. With a groan, she crawled away.
Defeated.

Kari cupped her hands as the booths vanished in the distance and the terrain became covered in snow. She was suddenly glad she had a warm-bodied companion snuggling up against her neck for warmth, but it sadly didn't do much for the rest of her body.
Wait, there was a booth here! And it had games! The first one she spotted was one labeled 'Daily Chance'. Why not she thought as she drew a number...
Sadly her number wasn't a winning one.

Bypassing the first game, Kari peered from the edge of the pond. There was something swimming around down there under the ice! Maybe she could just...
Nope. Just as she managed to get close enough to grab one, the ice under her broke. Luckily she managed to jump back before more than her right foot got soaked, but it was still freezing nonetheless.

feesh feesh feesh feesh feesh... She wasn't sure these were the pleasantly edible kind. They actually might've reminded her more of when she was a wee scarling. Those ears, those scales...
... then again, they might still be tasty. Well, there was only one way to find out. Onto the ice she went, crouching on all fours, tail curling upward. Once eyes locked on a particularly delicious looking critter with her preferred coloration, the ghoul pounced. She pounced, landed and slid... then kept sliding. She slid herself right over to the opposite side of the bank.
Lesson #1 of the Day (Levi edition): If you've just been through a course with oil, water and mud, it's probably best to shower before attempting to out-rascal a critter on ice.
Noted.
At least she still had the floresce from the race coiled within her tail.

Rhiannon all but stormed her way over to the icy booth, but this time she carried a gym bag that contained towels, a warm jacket, and a change of clothes with her. Her pink eyes sparkled with determination as she saw the Pom from earlier, just lounging in the water. She reached out to snatch the little pretty... But it got away.
