Nothing much on the beach today. It had been well picked over. There was another bar of soap half-buried in the sand; Jordan figured a crate must have broken open or something. He left it where it was; he still had one.

Noah had heard that there were things worth scavenging drifting up on the northern beach. Beaches made him kind of nervous after the disaster of a party, but it was the middle of the day, and if he was quiet, surely he wouldn't attract a titan all by himself.
There was only sand on the beach, though. Sand, seaweed (ew), and some seashells. And ... he crouched down and dug the wrapped object out of the sand, suddenly hopeful.
Soap. Just soap. He trailed off back towards the complex, disappointed.
