Fortunately, by then Kyo had brought her back to her house and cleaned her up, and was laying next to her, purring happily. Noting that she had woken up, his purrs became louder, the young kitsune nibbling on her earlobe.

Samuke similarly awoke, blinking sleepily and smiling to Kimera, kissing her on the cheek. "Morning, love," he murmured, wrapping a tail around her waist.

Kyo kissed her right back, then pouted, wrapping his tails around her a little tighter, though not so much that he was hurting her. "Can't Kyo's mate hold it?" Apparently he was still feeling rather clingy after what happened yesterday.

Samuke chuckled. "I'll get you some breakfast in bed, then," he decided, watching with more than a little amusement as Kenji kept assaulting his mate's face. He got up, heading over to the kitchen... and then blinked, backtracking a little and staring out the window in puzzlement. "...Huh... is the sky supposed to be this dark during the day...?" he mumbled in puzzlement. Sure enough, the sky was noticeably a couple of shades darker than it should've been for this early in the day...
After a moment, he shrugged, chalking it up to something Kyo did and therefore something he didn't want to think about too hard, heading over to the kitchen to start making some food for his mate.

Kyo seemed satisfied by that, wrapping himself around her a little tighter. Eventually, however, he reluctantly unwrapped himself from around her so she could go... and promptly followed her into the bathroom - apparently he was REALLY feeling clingy today.

Samuke soon returned with a full breakfast platter of toast, eggs, and bacon, smiling as he sat next to his lover. "Can you move enough to eat on your own, or do I have to feed you?" he asked.

Kyo blinked, turning to look out the window. "...That seem familiar... no bad familiar, just itchy familiar, like Kyo forgetting something..," he spoke after a moment, tilting his head and tapping his chin thoughtfully, completely oblivious to his hair and his only non-mutated tail turning black even as the third eye in his forehead vanished entirely. "...Meh, Kyo sure Kyo figure it out eventually!" he decided cheerfully after a moment.

Samuke smiled as he watched his beloved, though he was obviously getting ready to help her should she need it - she did say she was having trouble moving, after all.
Kenji hopped up to Kimera's lap at that point, obviously wanting her bacon.

(...I didn't know they made fortune cookies with Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy references. eek )

Kyo just gave Diana a blank stare that indicated he didn't understand what she was talking about... either that, or he was the greatest actor on Earth or any other world. After a moment, he patted her head placatingly. "Silly Diana. Kyo's fur hasn't been black since Kyo was sane like all you boring, normal people." He paused, then tilted his head. "...Actually, dark-sky-thing happened sometimes when Kyo was sane, too... meh, probably just koinkydink." Kyo then beamed at his mate, apparently completely dismissing these strange, probably-linked occurrences. "So, what for food?"

Samuke smiled even as Kenji began tearing into his bacon adorably. "I'm glad you like it," he told her.

Kyo grabbed his tail and stared good and hard at it, squinting and even gnawing on it at one point. Eventually, he looked back over at Diana. "Dunno... could be, could be somethin' else... Kyo suggest experimentation! For SCIENCE!" Kyo declared gleefully before pouncing on Diana, shamelessly groping her as he did so; it was rather clear what he meant by 'experimentation' at this point.

"Not mine, I do blizzards," Samuke answered with a shrug. "The sky usually doesn't darken like that unless a powerful demon with a heavy darkness alignment is in the area... or some maniac is trying another 'eternal night' scheme. Still, I doubt it's the second option - the only threat even remotely in the area is Luxiel, and he's an angel of light, not darkness." Samuke glanced over at the window, gaze turning a mixture of puzzled and wistful. "Kyo used to be able to turn the sky dark like that before he mutated... he was a Dark Kitsune."

Kyo waited patiently for his mate to return to the bedroom, tails wagging. (PMs or timeskip?)

"Yeah," Samuke admitted, "but I'm realistic enough to know that probably won't happen; there's only ever been recorded instance of a mutated demon returning to normal, and he was mute."

Kyo held up his tails once more to check; sure enough, one of his tails had turned into a half black, half glowing green fox tail, though it didn't seem to be turning fully black like his last tail, and his second pair of arms had vanished entirely. "Apparently tails past one needy more applimikimations - looky like second go will do trick for tail numero dos, but Kyo no sure 'bout after that," he reported.

"True, but I'm not going to get my hopes up - asking for him to return to being sane is a tall order, especially since he was pretty quirky even back when he was sane." was Samuke's dry reply.
