((Nyssa's still with them..right??))

Nyssa backed away from James.. And Farlon. She somehow managed to bump into the Professor before ending up standing back to back with Ace.

'There! A little peace and order is much better than a fight, isn't it? Doesn't damage the surroundings as much." she added in a barely audible mutter.

Shhe turned at the sound of Ace's voice and switched her attention to 'Chuck'.

"Chuck? Is that it or is there more to it? WHO ARE YOU? I'm fine by the way, thanks for asking. Have a nice day." she replied, adding the last two lines almost automatically.

CHuck smiled.
'I'm just... chuck, I suppose. nothing more to it. I'm stuck here because people are trying to study my telepathy. I'm weird. because I like potatoes. None of the others like potatoes.'
I'm tired. please ignore this post and carry on with this story.

"Weirdo..." said Ace, "Figures!"

"Ace don't be rude," The Professor took off his hat and gave Chuck a friendly nod, "Good day Mr Chuck! We are... well I am the Doctor, but you can call me Professor."

Chuck just stared at him, eyes wide. The Professor felt a strange tingling sensation in his head, as if someone were routing around inside, looking for something. Then it stopped and Chuck vanished from the crack in the wall.

"There's no need to run off!" The Professor shouted.

"Hey..." said Farlon, as the Professor hurried over and tried to squeeze through the gap in the broken wall, "I don't suppose you could let me go now?"

Ace glanced down at his head that was still clutched under her arm.
"What? Oh. Fine."
She shoved him over and stood up.
"Professor leave him! He's obviously a nutter! Probably one of your lot that lost it when he saw all those Daleks!"

"He didn't look like a Timelord..." James said, shaking his head, "He would have made contact with us anyway."

"He made contact with me!" said Ace, "The others all heard him!"

"Really? How strange..."

"It's true," said the Professor, turning round, "And I felt something just now. As if someone were reading my mind. But a normal Timelord wouldn't be able to do that without my permission."

"I didn't like the way you said 'normal' there Professor!" muttered Ace, glancing at the hole in the wall.

The Professor ignored her.
"Farlon, do you know him?"

Farlon had grabbed his sack and was clutching it to him with a look of relief. It took him a moment to register the question.
"What? Oh. That man? No. Not anyone I know. But then again I'm very rarely on Gallifrey in my line of work."

Ace narrowed her eyes.
"And just what is your line of work? Traitor in waiting?"

"It's none of your business. And please don't argue with me - I've got a splitting headache."

"Listen grease for brains I should be smashing you to pieces right now for what you got us into - and what you did to Gramps!"

"I'm sorry about that... I didn't really mean to attack him..."

"And just what did you mean to..."

"Are you lot alright down there?" came Einstien's voice from somewhere near the ceiling, "Do you want some help?"

"We're fine!" shouted Ace, "You can stop cowering up there!"

Morgan growled.
"We were NOT cowering! We've just had some difficulty finding some rope..."

"This should do..." Diva threw down a slightly battered rope ladder. Ace caught the end and gave them a wave.

"Cheers!"

"Right..." said the Professor, looking a bit glum about losing sight of Chuck, "You first Nyssa, then James, then Farlon and Ace..."
He jumped as a hand landed on his shoulder. Silent as a shadow, Chuck emerged from the hole behind the Professor, his eyes still as wide as before but now with a glint of curiousity that made them shine.

"On second thoughts I will go with you," Chuck said, grinning.

"Oh..." said the Professor, as his heart-beats dropped back down to normal, "...good."

The party finished clambering up the ladder and Diva let go of it, having no need for it. They continued on, down corridors and up stairs, until they reached a T-junction. The Doctor's looked at each other and nodded. Einstein sighed, as the ten men gathered in a circle. James took out an assortment of straws, keeping the bottoms hidden. They all drew one, slowly, not wishing to get the smallest two. The little ceremony ended, Donald and Diva having drawn the short straw, literally. The main party continued down the right path, while Donald and Diva went down the left. Neither of them noticed, as they slowly trudged down the cold and deserted corridor, a small bleeping, nor the dwarf alloy door behind them closing. They reached the end of the corridor and slowly but surely, eased open the door. It was a storage room, a unused storage room at that. Diva flicked on a light switch and the room became illuminated. It was a typical storage room, piled high with boxes and such, with a table in the middle. There was an object on the table, the outline clearly visible in the light. As they drew closer, however, they noticed it was a familiar outline and finally reached it, Donald flicking on a desk lamp. The thing sprang into life, whatever it was, and bleeped out in a high-pitched voice "Mistress? Master?" The two Doctor's smiled at each other and realized what they had found; the original K-9, left here on Gallifrey by the fourth incarnation of the Doctor.

((K-9... is back!))

"I hope they're alright..." said Mel, glancing back at the T-junction where they'd split off from Diva and Donald.

"They'll be fine," said Einstein, "They are me afterall."

There was a roar from up ahead.

The Doctors' heads turned simultaneously to look at the dark corridor ahead of them.

Nancy took a deep breath in.
"What was that?"

"That monster perhaps?" said Einstein.

"No," Grandpa shook his head, "That was a good three floors below us,"

"Well we know it can climb..."

"Wait..." Farlon edged forwards into the darkness, "Listen..."

There was a soft 'beep beep beep' noise and then something silvery and round rolled forwards into the light. It rolled past Farlon and towards the Doctors, executing a little spin as if looking at them. Then it promptly vanished back into the shadows.

"Oh dear..." said James, staring after it, "I think we'd better run..."

The small dog bleeped again and said "Technical report finished: hyperlink assembly at 50% readiness. Input required!" Donald and Diva flicked some of the switchs upon K-9 and he reported "All systems are at full power. Identify activator!" The two said, in complete unison "The Doctor" K-9 bleeped more and said "Hello, master's!" His ears wiggled and his tail wagged up and down, a sign of synthi-happiness, a year 5000 computer program intergrated into all computers.

Two huge hairy figures appeared - filling up the tunnel in front of the Doctors. Their faces - if they had any - were invisible beneath the thick mass of dark fur. But their claws were very visible. And they were holding guns.

"Duck!"
Seven Doctors, four companions and one rogue Timelord flattened themselves to the ground as a spray of web-like substance shot across their heads. They scampered out of the way as it began to float down towards them.

As they got to their feet the hairy creatures stormed forwards, scattering the group. Half of them dodged past their attackers and half of them fell back. In the darkness it was impossible to tell who went where... but the Yeti still gave chase.

The two Doctor's amd K-9 looked about, having heard the stomping of the Yeti and the gun-spray shots. However, they had no time to react, as another stomping echoed from the other corridor, as well as a rolling/rumbling sound.

A metallic buzzing voice came from the corridor, saying "It is the Doctor" and three large imposing figures stood in the entrance to the storage room. A light flickered on ominously and revealed the what was really there; three Cybermen. The two Doctor's stumbled back in shock and K-9 rolled back to his master's.

A harsh stacatto voice also grated out of the darkness, saying "IT IS THE DOK-TOR! SEEK, LO-CATE, EX-TER-MIN-ATE!" Three familiar pepperpot casings were revealed and the Doctor's saw what they were; three Daleks to add to the trouble

The Doctor's swore fluently in Ancient Gallifreyan and groaned afterward. As if they did'nt have enough trouble.

The lights - already on the blink - flickered into darkness as Ace, Farlon, Morgan and Nancy found themselves running down a corridor away from the Yeti. Behind them there was a huge roar.

"What are those things?" yelled Ace.

"Yeti!" shouted Nancy, ducking another shot from the web gun.

"And how do we kill it?"

"You grab it's..." he paused, "I mean you take out its control device!"

"What?"

"Just keep running!"

There was another roar behind them followed by a very loud CLANG.

"Doctor!" said a voice from behind them, "Are you alright? Quick! Get up!"

"Ouch..." said James, clutching his head, "I didn't see that one... oh dear..."

There was a roar.
"Doctor its got me!" Nyssa yelled, struggling against the monster's grip, "Get it off!"

"Let go of her!" yelled James, hitting out at the creature and missing, "Oh... you'll have to tell me where it is!"

"Over here! Over here! Follow my voice!"

"Ah..." CLANG "Ouch! Ohh where's my screwdriver?"

"It's no good..." said Morgan, looking back into the darkness where the struggle against the Yeti continued, "We're going to have to help them..."

They ran back, launching an immediate attack. Two out of the four actually managed to grab hold of the Yeti whilst Ace managed to grab hold of Farlon and tip him upside down.

"Ouch!" There was a crunch as he hit the ground and the sound of Ace laughing.

"Oh sorry Farlon, was that you?"

There were several more clangs and the sound of somebody tearing at fur.

"Help!" said Nyssa, "I can't get its claw off!"

"Its gone awfully quiet... where are you?"

"Whoever's got hold of my ear please let go..."

"Nyssa just stay calm and try to guide one of us to you..."

"It's no good..." said Nancy eventually. There was the sound of him fumbling around in his jacket and then the corridor was lit up in the soft blue light from his sonic screwdriver.

Ace glared at him. She was still holding onto Morgan's hair - which she'd thought had belonged to the Yeti.
"Why didn't you just do that to begin with?"

Nancy looked sheepish.
"I didn't want to alert it to our position..."

Farlon looked across the Yeti. The light in its eyes had died and it was stood as still as a statue, still clutching Nyssa's arm.
"It's alright, I think it's asleep. No sign of life."

Ace wrinkled her nose.
"Why would it just switch off like that?"

"Probably whatever was controlling it switched it off..." replied Nancy, "...or someone just knocked the control unit out."

"The what?"

"This Miss Ace..." said James, pulling out a large silver orb from the Yeti's chest, "It'll be safe as a rock without this in it. These things are the real devils."
He brought it over to Nancy who ran his sonic screwdriver over the top. There was a click from inside.

"There!" he said, "Dealt with! The question is - where the heck did it come from?"

Ace shook her head.
"No, the question is where did the others go? They've gone and vanished off in the other direction!"

Morgan frowned.
"Along with the other Yeti..."

"Well," Ace grinned, "We dealt with one easy enough! This'll be a piece of cake if all we have to worry about is another of those stupid robots!"

The two Doctor's stood back to back, Donald facing the Cybermen and Diva facing the Daleks. Diva moved back slightly and felt a small creak underneath his foot. Looking down, he saw there was a crack in the floor... pulsating with time-vortex energy for some reason. He whispered to Donald "Keep them busy" and slid his sonic screwdriver out of his coat sleeve, where he had put it after having 'rescued' it from the box in the office.

The two flanking Cybermen stomped forward, the metal giants making the ground vibrate with each step they made. They caught sight of the Daleks and drew their Cyberweapons, readying to fire.

The harsh voice grated out again, the luminosity dischargers firing up. The Dalek in front, presumably the squad leader, said "IT IS THE CY-BER-MEN! THEY MUST BE DES-TROYED!" Their ray weapons shot up, ready to let loose bolts of pure energy and hate.

The two Doctor's raised their eyebrows and ducked out of the way as the two factions begun to fire at each other, both of the race's having built-in hypo-staticised shields for defense. Diva continued to work on what he thought was there way out, poking the sonic scewdriver all over the crack, working overdrive to opn it up as the energy bolts fired alarmingly close to him. Donald crept over to help him, the two screwdrivers hard-pressed to get them out.

Einstein and the Professor skidded round the corner just in time to see Diva and Donald disappear into a hole in the floor, followed by a rather battered looking K-9.

"Turn back!" yelled Einstein, ducking out of sight of the Cybermen and Daleks and dragging the Professor with him. They ran back down into the dark corridors until they were sure they weren't being followed.

"This is crazy!" said the Professor, when he'd finally caught his breath.

"Yes..." said Einstein, "Yes I rather think it is..."

"Those Cybermen and Daleks will be after Diva and Donald."

"Probably. But I'm afraid there isn't much we can do..." he paused for a moment, thinking it over, "Don't you think it's a little odd that quite so many old foes are gathered here in one place? I mean I realise that we have quite a few..."

"The dream..." muttered the Professor.

"What?"

"I thought it was just Trayte. Oh stupid stupid... It's much bigger than him..."

"What is?"

"I don't know. Arrgh!"
He screamed and gave a leap as a hand grabbed his shoulder.

"Only me Doctor..." said Sarah-Jane, appearing out of the darkness, "I mean Professor. We got a little separated."

"We?" asked Einstein.

Grandpa and Mel appeared out of the darkness behind Sarah-Jane.

"We'd better find the others!" snapped Grandpa, "Again! Perhaps we can also find some sort of leash to keep us all together. I'm getting rather tired of all this running around."

Donald and Diva fell through the hole they'd made and felt a sickly feeling pass over them, one of the side effects of falling through a unfiltered time window. They hit the ground, wherever they were, and groaned, having landed face-down. Donald rolled onto his back and sat up, rubbing his head where a purplish bruise had appeared. Diva too rolled over and sat up, clutching his stomach, winded from the fall. They started to look around, the pain of their injuries subsiding. It was a very rocky place, probably a mountain area and it was very, very cold. The two men noticed something else about the place; it was snowing. The two got up, very haphazardly due to their transport, and turned to each other. Doonald said "Not the best of landings, eh?" Diva nodded and consulted his watch, raising his eyebrows. He said "July 25th, 19... 24? Hang on..." They looked at each other and Donald said "We've landed in the middle of the French Olympics in Chamoix. Would you believe it? Just our luck" Diva continued the train of though, saying "Just our luck to get plonked in France"

((UNIT RULE!!!!!! scream ))

David found himself stumbling around in the darkness, his feet constantly getting entangled in his huge scarf. Silence seemed to have fallen, though there had been the sounds of a fight only moments before.

"Hello?" he said nervously, staring out into the darkness, "Anyone there?"

There was no answer. He shuffled forwards until he found a wall. He began walking parallel to it, trailing his hand along it as a guide. He came to a junction where the wall turned sharply away at a right angle. He kept his hand on it and followed.

"They must be here somewhere..." he muttered, pulling out a rather squashed jelly baby from his pocket and chewing it nervously.

There was a sudden loud bang like thunder - seemingly only a few meters away. David gave a leap and began to run, abandoning his grip on the wall. He ran as fast as he could... and banged straight into the wall at the first corner he came to. Instead of slowing down, however, he rebounded off it, turned and kept running.

Suddenly he felt something wrap itself around his legs. He took two short strides and then fell over as his ankles became wrapped together. Thinking at first he was being attacked he clawed desperately at his feet, trying to free them. When he came back with two handfuls of multicoloured wool he stopped.

"Curse this scarf!"
He unwrapped his legs and flung the excess scarf around his neck. It meant it was a lot harder to breath but at least he wouldn't trip over again. He leapt to his feet. There was still a low rumbling sound coming from the direction of the bang. He backed away until he felt the wall behind him. Edging along, he eventually came to a small alcove built into the wall, probably for maintenance. He reversed into it until he couldn't get in any further. No passing monsters would spot him hidden away in the dark.

"That's funny..." he whispered to himself, reaching out a hand to feel the wall behind him, "This wall is awfully soft..."

He turned his head just as two huge yellow eyes lit up in the darkness behind him and the Yeti let out a roar. He screamed.

((Leave it alone!))

The two men brushed some snow off of their coats and headed down a small mountain path, leaving small footprints behind in the snow. They came down a fair bit and found themselves at a large clearing, slicing the mountain top into... almost a perfect half. The two went slowly, looking around for any suprise movement or spontaeneous avalanche. Diva heard a small piece of rubble roll down the mountain and his eyes darted about like a frightened rabbit's. Donald did the same, both men surveying to same spots. Finally they reached the end of the clearing and heard a rumbling from behind them. Turning round, they saw a sudden movement behind a small pile of snow. The two made for the path heading down but did'nt quite manage it before their pursuers made themselves clear; a group of Movellans, right down to the control units around their belts. Quite a strange sight to behold on a mountain in the twentieth century.

David felt the huge claws clamp themselves around his neck and he buckled under the weight, tumbling backwards. The glowing eyes came closer and closer and he half expected to be engulfed in some sort of foul smelling breath from the monster's mouth. Stupid, he thought, robots don't breath.

But it roared, long and loud and straight into his face.

"Help!' he shouted - but it came out more like a gargle.

I shall help you.... came a soft voice in his head and suddenly a figure sprang forwards, burrowing it's hands into the Yeti's stomach. The monster roared again but couldn't defend itself without letting go off David. There was a click and the light in it's eyes dies and it slumped forwards. A figure turned to David, invisible behind the slight shine of the round control unit in their hands.

"Who...?" gasped David.

"Just me, Chuck!"
The dark corridor lit up and David could see Chuck stood there, grinning.
"I have a torch! Shall we go?"
