Emmi tilted her head and smiled, "So did I. Maybe that is one reason why we connected so easily?" She questioned. Emmi smiled softly at him, "I'm sure your mother was beautiful" she said softly. Emmi thought about her mom, always shoving spells down her throat and sending her to her dad when she got a spell wrong.

Emmi listened and thought about her father and all the scars he caused in her, the one on her face the scariest she remembered. Emmi frowned, "I'm sorry.." She said to him, meaning it.

Emmi listened and thought about her father and all the scars he caused in her, the one on her face the scariest she remembered. Emmi frowned, "I'm sorry.." She said to him, meaning it. I shrugged "It was a long time ago... it's fine." I mumble softly as I held her. "It seems your father was a little bit the same way." I said as I continue to look at the battle field.

Emmi nodded. "Yea, my dad was not the fatherly type.." She said gently. "The moment I could walk, he put me against older demonic men. Every time I would loose, he would punish me. A new scar every punishment. One time he made me fight against one of the strongest demons in hell at that time. I was only eight, and All I remember is his face. His sharp terth and glowing yellow eyes, and all that pain. When I lost my father was so furious he locked me in my room for the next week. The scar on my face, that was from us fighting. He almost killed me, and since I was too weak to fight back he took a knife to my face and cut across my jaw. He told me that the more pain I have, the more I will be able to fight better. " she looked down. "He was right, though. A few years ago I went against him again. All I could think was to cause him the pain he caused me. I lost control of myself and killed one of his friends and almost killed him.." She shook her head. "I haven't fought since then" she smiled sadly and looked at him. "I'm proud of my scars. They make me who I am" she said, her voice shakey. Emmi then looked mad. Her fists clenched and she gritted her teeth. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have said so much.." She said, looking down still.

But it went down hill some how and my dad kill my mother in cold blood." the air around me turned icy as I thought of it. My eyes down cast. "When she died my brother broke down... he was going to kill himself... I tried to save his sorry a**... but I was a little too late." I mumble as my eyes turned light blue and my veins turned cold and glowed blue. "He didn't care about me when he jumped... his own little brother." I chuckled coldly.

Emmi looked down. "And that's how you became emotionless for so long.." She ended for him. Emmi rubbed the back of her neck. "I'm sorry for the loss of your mother..and brother.." She said softly. Emmi brought her knees to her chest wrapping her arms around them. She felt the cool breeze, and wasn't aure if she should try and help him or not.

She whispered and looked down blushing. I looked at Emmi and ponder why she suddenly became scared to ask what she wanted to ask. "You don't have to be scared... it's not i'll be disgusted or anything... I like knowing your thoughts." I said brightly. She had such a cute face when she blushed.

Emmi looked at him and softly smiled. "I.I love you.." She told him softly, then sudebly usbing bright red as she looked down. he will probably think i'm weird for saying that.. ahe thought to herself. I looked at Emmi and blushed a little at her words. It felt like a dream that anyone would like me this much. "I....L-love you too Emmi" I stuttered as I gazed at her. Such a sweet person that fate has given me. Who in there right mind would hurt such a sweet girl? I placed my hand on her cheek and suddenly felt my chest ach.. not from pain but from something else and I couldn't comprehend what it was.
