Yes, well... he wasn't honking her boobs or anything. Lazenca wasn't all that modest in the first place, so her having nothing but a bodice on wasn't much of a shock. He'd probably do the same thing if she was barechested, but would let her know what he's doing.
Anywaze.
"How unfortunate. I wanted to enter and help end whatever madness started this off, taking a bit of glory. But all I got for my trouble was a broken arm and the chance to clean a lovely lady's body with my good hand. One that hasn't asked me to stop, though she apparently doesn't much like my doing it for opposing elements." By now, he would be able to tell that much- temperatures and all, as well as the ability to think through what he saw in the fight.
"And then she smiles. What is it?" Still staring if you are.

To tell the truth, Flare wasn't all that modest herself. The method by which she'd first attempted to appease the rat man ought to speak for itself.
"I like the feel of this ooze less than I like the cold," she responded. Still staring, of course; she had the notion that ending a gaze first was weakness. She did occasionally blink, however, though she would not look away.
"It's nothing. It merely amuses me that we could have been at each other's throats if fate had conspired another way."

"Luckily, things haven't turned out that way." Pause as he shifted lower to her legs. It only took so long because he was going slow, using one hand, and not looking at her body at all to see if it was clean... he'd run over a place twice to be sure.
"What's your name?"

"Flare," the demoness answered, sitting up slightly to view him better. Her gaze, finally, sliding away from his eyes for a moment. "And yours?"
She was propped up on her relatively uninjured left arm.

VICTOLY! Or somesuch. When she looked away, he allowed himself to actually look over her and see how well he'd done with not looking. A pretty fine job.
"Lazenca. Nice to meet you when we're not about to fight. But we were staring at each other so long, that I thought we were going to kiss."
Clean, clean... almost done.

"Well...the offer still stands..."
Perhaps she was teasing, and perhaps she wasn't.
"But I doubt you'd want to kiss me, the mess I'm in."

"..."
Able to see where he was cleaning, Lazenca finished cleaning Flare much faster. A flick of his wrist had the muck slung to the side, and he checked his claws before making his way back to squat right beside her.
"You're not worried that I would hurt you?"

Alexiel leaned gently against the car with a sigh. The fighting was over, at least for those outside. Now the fate of the world rested in the hands of those who were fighting inside the temple and she hoped they would win. 'Give 'em hell, Vahn...'

"Should I be?" Flare asked. "After all, if you wanted to hurt me, you've had plenty of opportunity."
Seeing her close up, and paying attention to the movement of her mouth would reveal that the wolf man was not the only one with sharper than usual canines. Though her bottom teeth were as you would expect, the demon's upper canines formed small, perfect fangs.

Because he always payed attention to things like that. ...No, seriously. It was something in a smile, in seeing sharp canines, that secretly made him happy. Somewhere between that and her wings, he could place her as a demonic, though her specific race was still unknown.
Moving closer, so close that their noses were practically touching, he locked eyes with her again. "Likewise, I'm sure."

"Mayn, what a weirdo." Shouyin looked away scornfully, only muttering the statement under his breath. He didn't know where Lania had gone off to; she did have a tendency for disappearing. However, at least the half-golem thought the guy could've had more self-control.
Though hey, Flare was pretty, our man right here wouldn't have minded 'cleaning' her.
S'just Shou had a girl of his own, and he was the kinda guy who stayed faithful.
Ah well. The half-golem went back to his car, making sure it was in tip-top shape (which it totally was, though the rear bumper seemed dented), and then approached Alex. Shou was still wearing his jeans, black button-up shirt with sleeves rolled up and grey tee underneath, but everything was kinda dusty, and he was barefoot. Hair was still hot as ever though, and those bright green eyes shone warmly.
lol sexy.
"You alright there? Sorry for not waking you up, but, the whole battle was kinda sudden."

Alexiel looked at Shou as if he had just asked the most retarded question in the world. She gestured to the hilt of the dirk that was protruding from her left shoulder. "Does it look like I'm alright?"

Meh, Shou'd had worse. Getting stabbed was nothing compared to having limbs blown up. And he'd had that happen -twice-. Then again, she was a girl, he should've been more observant before asking. Chicks had that tendency to be all, whiny and s**t when you did something slightly wrong.
'Cept Ray, she was wonderful. ~
"How'd you get stabbed sleeping in the back seat of my car?"
His brow furrowed.
"You didn't like, roll over your own knife right?"

((Ouch, Shou...whicka burn))
Sam came out from behind the temple to find a mass of ooze and a body of pure lightl concentrate. Picking up one of the feathers from the slowly psuedo decomposing body of Amp she made her way over to Charles.
"Ever consider hiring yourself out for bodyguard duty?" She laughed, covering her own nervousness and the fact she knew things weren't over yet.

Charles kept an eye on Alexiel as she crossed to the car, seeing she was in decent spirits despite the fact that several inches of not her was jutting out from her shoulder, she had just fought the glowing she-creature of doom, twice, and the world was on the verge of ending.
Left in the hands of three men: One whom the Chauffeur witnessed meandering around with a oozing kettle, talking about giant plants, and had a strong craving for Spearmint gum after battle. Another whom Charles concluded would and did go harikari at every opportune moment. Seriously, had the guy ever heard the term "defensive tactics"? And lastly, a man whom Degs knew from the way back, a man who was actually cooler than a cucumber, even when nearby folk were running around on fire whilst being ******** by a horde of rabid, clown-costume-bedecked monkies. ' Oh yeah, he felt really safe.
Charles grinned at Sam's question. He reached over to his trenchcoat (still on Sam), and pulled out, from the right hand breast pocket, one of his business cards given to him by A~E Corp. "I'm never too busy for a bodyguard job now and then, Ms. Browning," he said, placing the card into Sam's hand.
He looked over to the temple not too far from where they stood, past what he assumed to be some of the most intimidating flirtation he had seen in some time. He tapped the edge of his scythe against his right shoe, kicking off some of the sand and random green goo. "So I suppose it's nothing more than a waiting game now?" he said, leaving it open for anyone to reply with their own special, unique, and possibly magical answer.
