Just as the technique hit however, she poofed and volcanic rock fell to the ground a few feet back. It was smoldering but not enough to set anything on fire. The Sei trapped in ice then spoke up. "Having fun yet?" She would then give a strained, short laugh.

Two things came to mind when this happened. Either sei had used the transformation jutsu or the substitution since he knew that if this was a clone then why would she dodge, or that it was a ploy. Either way Jaice was going to take care of both of his problems. Placing his hands on the ground ice would form around the rock and encase it in ice as Jaice would then walk to the clone or real sei. As fun this match was he was getting tired of it and was just wished to end it as his fist sailed into her head, releasing a shockwave.

Hyouton: Hyourou no Jutsu [ Ice Prison Technique ] After performing the needed handsigns, the user will slam their palms onto the ground, forcing columns of ice to rise up around their target. If contact is made, the ice will attempt to encroach and seal the target up to their neck. If an additional [5] chakra is fed to the technique while it holds a target, the ice will rise up, engulfing the entire body. From here, it is only a matter of time before the entrapped suffocates. Tai: Karaku Sagawara Seiken [ Water Cannon Punch ] Description: The user punches at a fair distance from the intended target, so instead of the fist connecting, it releases a shock wave that sends them flying.

Makoto was late as she pursued Natsu, having stopped for a moment to clean the blood off her face and the rest of her skin. Sure she had a justu for that, but why waste chakra? As for her clothes...that could wait. The kunoichi found the guy hard at work training with two shinobi sparring a little ways from him. "Hey! Natsu!" she called out to him as he finished working on something, smiling to himself. The girl approached him and took a deep breath. "Listen, I wanted to ask you to team up with me. I need to partner with people I trust..." Makoto started to say before recalling his genjutsu trick in the cave. Without warning, he staged his death to the enemy as well as to the rest of them. "But I don't know if I can trust you after that stunt you pulled!" Again, she recalled the event in the cave and how they worked together to defeat that giant. "But...when we did work together, we worked well, so..." Only now did she realized how conflicted she was about this. Natsu probably didn't even want a team and preferred to be solo for a while. For her, going solo seemed like a selfish way for her to go about being a ninja. After all, she wasn't a medical nin for herself, but maybe she shouldn't have asked; not Natsu anyway...
Sei would release the chakra supply to the transformation jutsu and ice would rise up to her neck as she released it. "Well that didnt work." Sei then created another clone, this time a clone invisible to the naked eye, right in front of her. It would make a small ding as it touched the ground.

Ding. That sound was familiar to him and reminded him of their previous spar which caused Jaice's grin to change back to his normal sardonic look. As the sound appeared Jaice would twist on his leg and rise into the air as his opposite leg released a crescent slash of water in its wake towards sei to knock sei towards where the sound emanated from. From there he would aim his palm towards her chest and release a high pressured jet stream of water behind the crescent.

Tai: ○ Gekido Suiton Chikara [ Raging Water Force ] Description: By summoning Water you shoot it as if they are high pressured jets so you force your opponent back.
○ Kire Yoko Ashige [ Slicing Axel Kick ] Description: By summoning the Water around you the user will use that Water as they kick Horizontally having the Water mimic their kick making the Water turn into a Crescent Slash that will fly towards the opponent and slice him as if he was cut my a Katana.

[₦] Standing there his right arm came up his forearm just wiping across his forehead before he turned slightly. Catching Makoto out of the corner of his eye he turned to face her as she called out for him. Standing there his brow raised listening to her while she continued on speaking her mind. When she spoke about the stunt he pulled he remembered what he had to say to her. If she was going to criticize then so would he. After all she was talking about being able to trust him? What about that stunt her and Dancer pulled by not speaking to them, of course he wasn't going to tell them he was using a genjutsu, how could he trust them. "I don't mind teaming up..." He paused thinking how to go about this. But something in his blood boiled, at first he wanted to ignore his thoughts but he couldn't. "My stunt?" He questioned. "What about you that that useless twit that didn't do anything except stand there? Remember when you started whispering? What was that all about I was apart of the team too I let you guy in on everything except that jutsu." He shrugged a bit now, a little bit more than annoyed. "If I'd of told you it wouldn't have looked real, I needed it to seem like he had cut me down." He then turned back towards the two others fighting. "Yeah we did work well together didn't we?" Another smile now as he turned his head over his shoulder to glance at her. "Well again I have no problems being on a team. But if anyone gets in the way of my goal I'll go right through them...that includes you as well." He turned looking at her now eyes narrowed somewhat. "That sword we retrieved. It'll be mine, and I'll cut down whoever I have too to make that a reality. I will be one of the legendary Swordsmen hidden in the Mist, no...I'll be the greatest." Natsu's loyalty to the village and t his beliefs was what drove him, he felt that he needed to tell Makoto before she decided on whether or not she really wanted to be on a team together.
Sei would match her breathing with Jaice as he shot two attacks at her. Ding. The clone ducked as both attacks passed over it and slammed into the ice column around Sei, leaving her unharmed. Ding ding ding ding ding ding ding! Jaice would hear more dings, which would gradually get closer to him. The clone would then throw a double palmed strike, both of which were aimed towards his chest. The armor he had on should protect him but should the clone come into contact with him it would explode like a cluster of ten explosive tags.

"I...errrm..." she quieted down when she called her out. While she didn't mean too, it seemed she had done that while trying to keep the giant from hearing. "Sorry, that wasn't what I meant to happen. It's important to work with your comrades after all, for the sake of the mission and everyone's safety." At least, that's what she was taught and believed. While both of them had a small gripe over the latest mission, Makoto was willing to move past it if Natsu was. As it turned out, he was fine with being in a team with her but with one stipulation. While his words were harsh and perhaps even a bit excessive, they certainly showed how serious he was about goal. 'Well, that explains his odd behavior earlier' the kunoichi recalling how he acted when it came to that sword. "Well, that's fine. I have no interest in being a swordsman so no worries there. I don't think well be clashing goals anytime soon" she assured him, nodding her head. "Actually...I just want to be a greatest medical ninja. One who can cure any disease or..." Makoto trailed off, her eyes falling to the floor. She paused for a moment, as if in thought but quickly looked back at the swordsman with a slight smile on her face. "But enough about that. From this point on, we're a team." To seal the deal, she held out her hand to shake on it. Afterwards, she'd like to get some training done and work on some of her skills.
[₦] As Makoto explained herself Natsu just watched her gathering his own thoughts on the way she had told him that it wasn't how it seemed. Seeing as how it was their first mission together Natsu slowly came around to her explanation. "I agree." He told her. "And from now on...I'll try to keep everyone in the loop." He spoke about his genjutsu he had used earlier, though he wasn't sorry for doing it. Makoto spoke about not really being interested in being a Swordsmen, Natsu raised his brow wondering why. But that question was soon answered, she wanted to be the worlds greatest medical ninja it seemed, well wouldn't hurt having someone like that on the team. "Alright." Natsu reached out his hand reaching further than her hand grasping against her wrist before staring her in the eyes. "We're a team." He nodded releasing her arm before looking back at the two genin. Natsu was probably going to get some more training done as well.
Makoto smiled and nodded, grabbing his arm to shake on it. She and Natsu were now teammates, well, more like partners but surely they'd find a third member soon enough. "Great! Well, I'm gonna get some training done with my futton justu before heading to the dojo." After all, it was her kekkei genkai that delivered such a harmful blow to the enemy. If she could expand on it, it would make defeating foes much easier. Before stepping away, her attention was also drawn to the pair of genin in combat. Honestly, with those level of techniques, the dark skinned girl just hoped no one got hurt. "I'll be over here if you need me" she told Natsu before putting some distance between them.

The conclusion to the spar was drawing near as Jaice's annoyance had reached its peak. Sei was a capable sparring partner but as the match went on Jaice realized he could have ended the fight earlier on but wanted to draw the match out. This feeling was quickly lost as the dings closed in causing Jaice to move from his position and run to the real sei. As water formed in his fist Jaice quickly smashed his fist into sei's face and release a jet stream of water into her from point blank range.

Sei's training was to come to an end here, it seemed, but she wasn't going to go out without a fight. Sucking in air as Jaice got close, she would release it as a flamethrower as her clone came in from behind to strike. Whether Jaice dodged or not did not matter, as the clone would go off either way. His boredom would take over his sense of reason as he truly was going to end this match once and for all. As the girl released the flames Jaice would be substituted with the clone and appear behind sei. As he appeared he would continue the attack towards the back of her neck but with more force.

This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.

As Jaice substituted away to right behind her, her sound clone would instad take the the fire. Jaice would think he could get a strike in, except now there was a limp Sei being thrown backwards at him. The sound clone blew up from the fire and debris flew up into the air, some of the ceiling being damaged too. The ice surrounding Sei would break,sending ice shrapnel towards the two of them.

Jaice's eyes would widen as he watched Sei die in front of him. The only other person he remotely cared for, and he had killed her. As she was flung into his arms and the shrapnel dug into him Jaice wouldn't care as they fell back onto the floor. His face was a mix of anger, regret, and sadness from his normal sardonic expression as he bled.
