Kiera pulled a face at Cyril and he chuckled, scratching the back of his neck. "Mai wanted ta' come'n see you." Kiera crossed her arms across his chest. "I'm sure he's not the only one." She then put her hand on her hip, although smiled. "I'm glad you were at the wedding yesterday though, Cyril. I thought you weren't going to come." Cyril shrugged. "Didn't wanna miss that." Kiera seemed surprised, although didn't show it. "Well I have some work to do. I've just been given a lot of responsibility." Cyril nodded. "I heard." He looked to her with concerned expression. "But are ya' sure ya' wanna be this, though?" Kiera glanced back to the papers. "I don't see what that's supposed to mean." Cyril coughed. "Com'on Ki. Ya' know ya' never wanted ta' be Queen." Kiera sat back down, still as cold to Cyril as she's always been. "We haven't discussed this in years. You have no right to think that." She started writing again and Mai was just focused on Fu.
Dante nodded. "They probably just started rebuilding things, I guess." He pulled a face. "That's what uncle said was happening." He rushed on ahead excitedly. "Com'on guys!"

*Shortstraw laughed as they all followed after donte. A few of the works saw the young prince and a team of others and stopped working as a man supervising turned around and approched donte, "Sir, we are rebuilding as fast as we can. And we only asked for enough to get the job done on a minimum... please tell Miss Eve we were just trying to get our jobs done..." he replied worryed about eve stopping the operation. Fact was this city was so bad, it be better just to build a whole new then to rapair what was there. Eve even put that on the report back, with funds however to build a new city. They thought they were cought. And by the time shortstraw walked up he missed the conversation. Figureing donte was going to handle the situation.

Cyril looked to the floor. "Well y'know. You're stubborn, Ki. Ya' don't change your opinion o' things often." Kiera carried on writing and putting pieces of paper aside. "I agree I'm stubborn. But things have changed." Cyril sighed and nodded. "I guess." He obviously noticed that Kiera wanted him to leave. He could practically feel Kiera's heat threatening to push him away. He glanced down to Mai. "Com'on Mai. We're goin' now." Mai whimpered but Kiera looked down to him sadly. Mai then licked Fu's hand and followed Cyril out of the room with more whining.
Dante grinned up to the man. "Oh, big sis Eve was that harsh? Well anyway, Kiera's in power now. Since she's lookin' after the money she could help you a little with that. We wanna help too! We're gonna work hard to make things better!" He replied with another thumbs up.

*Three months had passed since that day when eve left and keria took rule over the country. All the wor efforts and support was done, the citys almost all repaired where needed, and the ecominey booming again. Things were going fairly well for the country now. Keria had a better hold of things, the paperwork was lower, and things seemed to slow when it came to other countrys asking for support from thr Yokai region. Donte and Shortstraw now had a little publisity themselves now, mostly donte however. It seemed the public loving his attitude towords things. However in the yokai castle one night things were starting getting alittle shakiy agian. The coutnry was fine, but where the people within the homested that made it happen more so?*

Kiera had spent almost half an hour in the en-suite after locking herself in there. Evelyn sat outside with her back against the door and had been for the past quarter of an hour to get Kiera out of there. "Oh jeez Kiera you'd think that you wouldn't be this childish after all this." Evelyn knew that she could just walk in there but that would defy the point of getting Kiera to come out herself. Kiera still didn't speak. Evelyn groaned. "Kiera seriously, what is it? I'm getting bored of this now." Sensitive Evelyn as ever. There was some shuffling then Evelyn heard Kiera slump against the wall. "I feel really bad." Evelyn looked to the door. "Mentally or Physically?" Kiera coughed. "Physically." Evelyn looked back to the floor. "It's probably just normal baby stuff." Evelyn never liked the idea of Kiera having children, and when Kiera had finally decided to tell her a couple of months ago Evelyn flipped. "That doesn't make it feel any better."

*Shortstraw at the time was just finishing up somthing. However Veria finally appeared and walked into the room, "whats going on? I feel a major disterbence more then before." She looked evleyn up and down. Over the time skip veria has been misteriously dissapeirng back and forth, doing misdeeds here and there. She too was vary... emotional about finding keria was pregent before and she actully wanted to keep it, but she hadn't spent any time near keria in months. She stepped over to the door and just went though it, "you alright sister?" She asked looking to keria sturnly, "I can tell you seem to be in some sort of pain...and it's far too early for birth of your child."

Kiera groaned as she glanced to Veira. "Leave me alone. It'll pass." Evelyn chuckled from behind the door. "From what I hear it doesn't sound like it'll pass." Kiera grunted and pulled her knees to her chest. "Besides, you always hide in there when you don't want anyone to see you. Most of the time because you're hiding something." Kiera's eyes thinned at the door. "Maybe I should find a new hiding place." Evelyn looked to the ceiling. "Are you hiding something?" Kiera grunted again. "No." Kiiro turned her head over to Evelyn from the windowsill. "Onee-chan. Miss Kiera's baby is dead." Evelyn quickly pulled a face then stood up to turn to the door. Kiera's eyes widened dramatically. "Why... do you think that Kiiro?" Kiiro turned to look back out of the window. "There isn't any life anymore. I don't feel it there like it was before." Evelyn looked back to Kiiro. "You think she's had a miscarriage?" Kiera stayed staring at the floor, body rigid.

*Veria blinked. She had done nothing to tamper with keria at all. For once, it wasn't her fult. She squtted down and stared at kerias stomach, "may i check sister?" She slowly reach out to just place her hand on the stomach and closed her eyes for a brief moment before looking down. "Kiiro is correct... sister i'm sorry." She slumped to the floor. She felt her hiddend ecitment this whole time about be a aunty slip form her mind. She could tell this would ba a horrable set of emotions for keria. And shortstraw was really happy since they got married becuseof the baby, no matter what was going on. Now when he found out, more sadness would stur. "It's too early for me to save it sister... i'm sorry i dont think i can even help this time." She looked to keria, "you going to be okay?"

Kiera dropped her forehead to rest on her knees and she shut her eyes tight. "Everything was going so well. Why this now?" She curled her knees tighter to her chest and raked her hands through her hair. "What the hell is wrong with my body...?" Kiiro remembered some of the stuff she read in a book somewhere. She had a good memory for these things. "In some cases, the muscles of the cervix are weaker than usual. This is known as cervical incompetence. A weakened cervix may be due to a previous injury to this area, or may have been something you were born with..." Evelyn went to go sit on the bed a little sadly. "This is bad.."

Veria made a face, "Hell yea this is bad." She looked to the floor, "i knew i should have been your modicornater. I should have taken better care of you while you were pregnent. But i was too afrade that if i went near you my deamonesss might effect the child. Now i see that i was wrong. I am sorry sister." She actully gave keria a little hug, but put her head ontop of kerias, "i assume kirro is on to somthing. I can check it out and fix it if theres any damiges. If they are weak i'm pretty certain i can striegthen it." She looked down, "i know it dosn't fix what you just lost big sister, but I can at least help it so you can try again we a better chance of sussess."
Pardioa however glared at the others, "mistresss..." he didn't know what to say. it was his time to comfort her, but he wasn't too sure how. And wouldn't you know it it was about this time Shortstraw and donte was walking through the front door laughing, "i bet that guy with no hair was scared as could be when he say you transform! Did you see the look on his face?" He chukkled and messed up dontes hair, "you did go man. save a few lives, best rewared yourself with some food." he chukkled and winked to soflora before turning for the stairs, "i'm going to check on keria."

Dante looked to the ceiling as he walked into the kitchen. He sensed something was wrong. He didn't like that, so distracted himself by raiding the fridge for some food. By this point Kiera had started to cry and wouldn't stop. Evelyn suddenly stood up. "Shortstraw's back." Kiera ignored her and carried on crying as she scraped her hands through her hair. Well, Kiera ignored Veira too. Now just wondering why it had to happen to her. When she was finally ready to have a child. It made no sense. Luck was never on her side. Evelyn rushed out of the room and blocked Shortstraw's way at the top of the stairs. "Uhh.. let me give you a pre-warning Shortstraw. Things might not be good for you or Kiera right now. And it would be harsh to ask you not to be upset but-" Evelyn didn't know how to put it.

*Shortstraws smile instantly faded, "wait what?" He didn't wanna hear the rest of it as he basicly pushed her aside and ran into the room, hearing keria crying as he went over and tryed to door. Locked. So he simply took his arm and snapped the door handle off so that he could open the door, and fall to the floor to cetch a falling back, upset keria. He basicly held her and looked to her sturnly, "keria what is it? Whats wrong?" He looked up to veria who shied sadly, "keria just had a miscarrige... your baby didn't make it." Shortstraws eyes swelled and he held keria tighter as he looked down to the floor. After some thought he spoke, "alright i want to talk to keria alone. I want everyone out." he replied ina sad, weak vioce, however they could tell he was trying like hell to be strong. He wasn't yelling he was just giving a order that he ment for veria, evelyn, kirro and ever paradioa if he would.

Evelyn did as Shortstraw said and went to go take Kiiro in her arms before motioning Veira to follow her out of the room. Now it was just Kiera and Shortstraw, and Paradioa if he hadn't decided to move. Kiera took comfort in Shortstraw's presence however continued to cry. Evelyn moved downstairs into the kitchen with Kiiro and sat her down on the table. Evelyn didn't speak much. And when Dante turned to them with a face full of food Evelyn couldn't chuckle. "What happened?" Evelyn looked to the table. "Kiera's had a miscarriage." Dante pulled a face. "What's that mean?" Evelyn frowned. "It means her baby died." Dante had to sit down to think about it. "So I'm not gonna be an uncle no more?" Evelyn sighed. "No Dante."

*Shortstraw put his face to her shoulder to keep himself from crying, as he whsipered to her, "shhh... shhhh." He rocked her alittle, "it's going to be okay keria... it's going to be okay." He kissed her cheek, "this is just another bump in the road is all... your been doing really good latly, so don't put this on yourself okay..." he was still holding back the strong urg to cry, "things sometimes happen... we both know that more then most..." he loosened up alittle to try and turn her around to face him.

Kiera tried to stop crying for a second and she looked to him with red and bloodshot eyes. "The bad things always happen to us Shortstraw.. haven't you noticed? They always happen to us. Our family." She shut her eyes to cry again and bury her face into his shoulder. "I was so ready for this and it feels like it's been thrown back in our faces." She cried more. "What's so wrong with wanting normal things.." Evelyn looked to the ceiling and sighed. "They could be a while. I'm going for a bit. Dante, look after Kiiro for me." Before Dante could say anything with a mouth full of food Evelyn was gone, out of the castle. Kiiro frowned. "A lot of people are sad now. Even Onee-chan."
