Deeper into the lists, Lucius would find a listing of current personnel on the payroll, along with a short description of their position, skills, and a few miscellaneous notes. Alonzo was one of the first names on the list, with his duties listed as "security, personnel management, and 'gopher'". He also had an unusual note next to his name: "Expensive blood". A short way down was the woman known as Trish, whose only job was listed as "security", with "samurai" and "needs a new sword" printed in the "skill" field.
Most of the entries were listed under either "security" or "housekeeping", with a few token cases of horticulturists, a couple of lawyers, a chef, a couple of architects, contact info for an interior designer, and so on and so forth. There were surprisingly few medical personnel on staff, a man named Vincino standing out with "knows first aid" in his notes section. His job title, though, was simply "Muscle", a title only shared with someone named Suzanne. Near the bottom of the list were three names that had even more opaque job titles associated with them: Leary ("Repossession and Stock Management"), Mahon ("Monetary Allocation Specialist"), and Rohan Yakim ("Marketplace Research"). All three were marked as being currently out on the job, though none of them provided information on where or what their jobs actually were.
All the way at the end, set apart from the rest by a single empty line, were the names Francis, Rosalia, Robert, and Mio, all of whom were listed as "Security". Immediately beneath them was the name Ivano, whose job title was listed as "N/A"; the notes clarified that he was studying under Mio and wasn't contracted with the family.
Outside, a postman arrived at the front gates and was admitted. He exchanged letters with one of the staff, a look of confusion coming over his face at what was presumably the bundle destined for the Villages. He left in short order, leaving the staff member to wander around and disburse mail to the various workers.

Looking over the list some of these notes weren't very helpful. He made a mental note to ask Alonzo about his expensive blood. It seemed Trish was just a normal bodyguard, he hoped she was good enough to handle the job. He wondered what they were currently doing about the sword she required. The rest of them, seemingly unimportant. They had a money launderer, a thief? And some other guy. The rest were more security, and some guy named Ivano currently being trained by Mio. Lucius had to take care of something, so he created a shadow clone who carefully snuck out of the mansion undetected and headed to the shinjiro factory.

Lucius had finished the report a while back and was simply relaxing as he received the info from his clone. He had all he needed to but his next plan into action. He had time before the hospital date arrived so he needed to test his guards. He got up and walked out of his room, his two guards still stationed at his door they stood at attention when he exited."Find Trish and Mio, tell them to meet me at... Do we have a training room in here? A dojo maybe? You, take me there and you find them and tell them to go there." The two guards would split one stayed with him and lead him the way to the dojo within the mansion. This place was huge so of course it needed its own dojo. The guard left him and then closed the door. Lucius went to the center, sat on the ground and began to meditate. Waiting for the two to arrive.

Neither guard would leave, instead showing a bit of unease at the order.
"No, sir, we don't have a dojo on the grounds," one would respond. "The closest we have is the security office, but that's not really set up to host fights."
"There's a place the last head used to train," the other piped up. "A metal processing plant near the river. They've got enough space to host a fight, as long as things don't get too rowdy. I think you have to ask them early to use the indoors, but they've got some space outside too."

Lucius sighed, they had like one hundred rooms in this damn place but no place to fight. He didn't want to go to the processing plant. Especially he didn't want to fight outside. He didn't know who could be watching."This I guess I'm borrowing the security office for a while. Take me there." He then looked at the other guard who had yet to move."Go."

One guard scampered off while the other led Lucius to the security office. It was tucked away in a corner on the second story of the building with only a small plaque on the door to differentiate it from the bathroom across the hall. The inside was quite spacious at one point, but was filled with a couple of desks and several rows of lockers. After the guard explained the situation, work was paused and the desks were moved between the lockers, creating a clear space about four meters across.
Trish and Mio arrived not long thereafter in varying states of armament. Mio was wearing full armor, but Trish was wearing a suit and almost completely unarmored save for a pair of gauntlets. They both bowed to Lucius upon entry and awaited orders.

Lucius waited in the cleared room as the two girls arrived. If there were people still in the room Lucius would motion for them to leave."Take a long lunch." As they all began leave until it was simply them three."The time has come to test your skills." Things had developed a little more quickly then he expected so he needed to test them earlier."Just come at me like I'm trying to kill the person you're supposed to be protecting." Lucius was currently not in any battle attire. He did have his black blade at his side but it wasn't drawn. So he was was going to fight them off with his bare hands? He wondered what they thought about his fighting capabilities. Did they think he was a weakling like all the other heads of the kurokasa household? If they attacked, then they had no doubts his capabilities. Though since they only really saw him take out a single normal guard. Any idiot with the proper training could do that. If they hesitated it probably meant they were afraid of hurting them. He guessed he would have to wait and see.

As soon as the final word left his lips, Lucius would see the two samurai spring into action. Mio's hands would produce a small paper seal. She produced from it a katana of average make while and a well-used, well-maintained kusarigama.
Trish's fingers gripped the handle of the sword with professional grace, and almost before she was done with the grabbing motion, she had taken a sharp step toward Lucius, bringing herself between him and Mio and swinging the blade straight toward his face. It was an uncultured swing clearly not from any of the major sword styles, but it carried with it a practiced air. This wasn't a blind swing, at the very least.
At the same time, Mio--under the visual cover provided by Trish's movements--rapidly swung the blunt end of the chain a few times before loosing the weight toward Lucius' leg. She intended for it to follow the blind spot caused by her partner's body and blade and strike without any advanced notice. The nature of the technique meant that a direct hit would cause his leg to rocket away from the point of impact, which likely meant straight into the floor at this angle. The injuries that would cause would severely hamper his movements until treated, but as a medic and a professional, she wasn't too concerned with that at the moment.
Techniques Used:
Mio: Unsealing, Gekitai [ Repulse ]: C, Simple; The user spins the weighted end of the chain and uses the spinning motion to launch the weight at an opponent with tremendous force. Reduces the durability of any physical defensive technique of its rank by one rank per hit, to a minimum of E-Rank durability by causing cracks to appear in it. Consumes two activations if the user is not in Saishuu no Kamae [ Final Stance] of at least this technique’s rank. If used against an unanchored opponent who is not defending, this technique loses all descriptive bonuses to strength and then takes a supreme penalty to it, and the target is launched away two meters per this technique’s rank.

Lucius raised his eyebrow in an interested look as they moved in to attack him, In the front, Trish and behind her Mio. With the sound of something being unsealed came a chain like sound. At least he could feel the hostile intent from both of them. They were taking this seriously. At the moment Trish would be swinging her sword Lucius took a series of rapid steps backwards. Though it wasn't as fast as the shushin it should suffice to create distant between the close range fighters. His movement would be fairly difficult to track for the pair that was below his body rank.
Linear Step Rank: E :: Simple Description: A single step or series of steps forward, meant to add a great deal of strength to offensive techniques. Though it happens much faster than the typical eye can track, it only covers a distance of a single step. Can be executed in a straight line forward or backward. Though slower than Shunshin, this movement is still difficult to track visually for those of a lower body rank than the user’s own, and gains a slight increase to speed per the user's body rank. Lucius' retreat went well, but it would have put him against the wall due to the arena's small size. This would give at least the appearance of an advantage to the samurai, who could narrow down his next movement to a 180 degree arc.
Mio took a step back as she charged the blade of her kusarigama with Chakra and pulled the weight back. The man's apparent disappearance didn't phase her much: he didn't appear to have moved out of the line of combat, at least judging by Trish's reaction to the situation. She then made two rapid vertical slashes with the blade end of her weapon, sending out waves of Chakra toward either side of Trish, intending to box Lucius in.
For her part, Trish took a moment to let her eyes refocus after Lucius' body blurred during his backpedal. Luckily she hadn't lost track of him since his movement had been directly backward, so she steeled herself and charged forward. As Mio's slashes flew past her, she thrust her sword toward her target, then pulled it back before it would cut very deeply (if it hit in the first place) and executed a downward vertical slash.

Lucius got away from the initial attack, but realized he had backed himself against a wall, stupid small office. There was about a foot between his back and the wall. So he didn't have much space to maneuver. The best decision would be to figure out which was Mio would attack from and side step in the other direction. Trish began to charge, Lucius waited to see if Mio was going to attack. As he saw something pass Trish he saw it on the left, and the right. Which meant he had no escape route without being struck by the techniques. If he let those hit they might take advantage, so he didn't move. As Trish stabbed in the blade wouldn't actually pierce through his invisible armor. When it touched he merely push his chest in and his shoulders forward. Giving the illusion of piercing. As Trish raised her blade to deliver a overhead blow if the thought ran through her head to stop her attack before hitting Lucius wouldn't give her the chance as he blade would be stopped midair with a single finger. In the confusion or shock he would bring his palm and thrust it towards her body. If it connected it would hurl her away an impressive distance. Probably on to the other side of the room. If Mio was still standing directly behind Trish body would come flying at her, Noctis would be hiding behind Trish just as Mio did sprinting towards her. Depending on what happened with Mio would decide what Noctis did.
1: If Mio knocked aside Lucius would move with a fist into her body as well, grinding her into the ground. This technique would usually gain 6 ranks of strengths against someone on the ground. But Lucius would hold his punch back greatly. Thus only causing a moderate (C rank) amount of damage. Though her armor should protect her as well.
2:If Mio dodged her friend and left her to fly off into the wall. Noctis would be moving in to follow up with other Houshou sending this poor girl flying off with her friend.
3:If Mio held her ground to catch her friend from flying and hitting the wall it would probably be the worst option. Noctis would simply be there again with another Houshou. Driving into Trish another time knocking them both off their feet.
That how it would play out depending on the actions if everything wen't according to plan

Lucius' fist connected, sending Trish flying back toward Mio. The latter half-caught the former, using her arms to slow down Trish's body before tossing her aside. Instead of running from the followup strike, Mio formed a wall with her arms and took the blow head on. It left not a single scratch on her armor, and in the aftermath she moved decisively. She parted her arms and, in one smooth movement, flipped the chain of her kusarigama up and hopefully around Lucius' arm to bind him in place.
While Mio was guarding, Trish was rolling out of the blow. She managed to get back to her feet after the dust had settled, and immediately rushed back in with a horizontal slash toward Lucius' side. She had been taken unaware, but now it was time for them to push back.

It seemed Mio was stronger than she looked, also the extra weight of her armor probably made it easier to catch Trish. She softened the landing for her partner as Lucius moves were countered and his hand chained down. He turned towards Trish who was now charging at him. He guessed he needed to use a little more of his skills for these two. As Trishs blade came to his side it would meet with Lucius black blade. Then in a quick circular motion he would whip the blade out of her hands and fling it into a corner of the room hopefully out of her reach. Instantly dropping down low Lucius would kick at Trishs legs in an attempt to send her flying away in a awkward position. Once that was down he turned his sights on Mio, using the hand that she currently had wrapped he performed a hard yank. Hopefully catching her off guard Lucius would bring his hilt towards her chest. If connected would not be strong enough to break her armor or any bones. But being sent flying would be the intended effect.
Disarming Rank: E :: Simple Description: The user responds to an opponent’s Bukijutsu technique by disarming the opponent. The disarm must be feasible and the rank of the disarm attempt must be higher than the last Bukijutsu technique used by the opponent. Cost is E-Rank if the opponent has not used any Bukijutsu in the current battle. Konoha Reppuu [ Leaf Violent Wind ] Rank: D :: Simple Description: This is a very simple, yet effective technique, which can be used for anybody who comes charging with a direct attack. The user kicks the opponent’s legs out from under them, sending the opponent flying away from the defender in an awkward position. Deals damage a second time if the target hits a solid object. Hilt Thrust Rank: D :: Complex Description: Rather than striking the enemy with the edge of the weapon, the user strikes with the blunt end, typically the hilt of the weapon if used with swords. This strike can break through armor and will break bones and send a target flying if unarmored. The sword flew out of Trish's hands, but Lucius' second attack didn't connect. She executed a swift back step out of danger and reclaimed her sword from the corner where it had landed.
Mio, meanwhile, was busy fending off Lucius in close quarters. She needed a way to disengage so that she was out of reach of his sword, so when he pulled her in, she loosened the chain and let herself get repelled by the hilt thrust. She landed on the opposite side of the room and shifted almost seamlessly into a stance, her feet in line with her shoulders and the weighted end of the kusarigama in her right hand. She let Chakra flow into the chain of her weapon and loosed the weighted end toward Lucius' weapon. She was aiming to wrap the chain around his sword and pull it away from him, or at least distract him enough for her partner to get a hit in.
Blade in hand, Trish ran around to Lucius and executed a quick step toward his back, similar in form to the step he had performed earlier. At the same time, she would thrust her blade toward him using form he would no doubt find familiar if he could see it.

Description: The most basic of stances, taught mostly to those without any prior training. Description: A swing with either end of the weapon that is designed to wrap around an opponent’s weapon. Following a successful wrap, the user yanks back on the chain, recalling their weapon and the enemy’s at the same time.

As Mio prepared her weapon and Trish prepared her attack Lucius stood between them."Okay ladies. Time to get serious." This was just a warning for them to know he was no longer going to be holding back. The weighted end of the chain wrapped around his blade. But before she could pull Lucius dropped his sword and kicked the hilt in her direction. So even if she pulled the length and speed of the sword wouldn't give her control of the blade. He then turned to Trish who was rushing at him with the same movement he used to escape at the beginning. This means he could at least teach her the style if she hadn't mastered it yet. As she ran towards him he watched her breathing, he was quickly able to sync with hers and know when she was going to attack. By the time she started her thrust Lucius would already be below her. Timing his knowledge of her attack with his next technique allowed him the perfect counter. He would deliver a strong kick to her chin sending her into the air. Luckily the ceiling of the security office was high enough to allow such movements. If everything succeeded, he would follow up on his attack unless Mio found a way to get to stop him.
Last Minute Rain Rank: B :: Simple Description: A technique used simply for the sake of surprise, the user will drop their blade and kick the hilt of the katana, sending it through the air to pierce the enemy. Treated as complex when interacting with simple defenses and evasions. May Wind, October Rain Rank: D :: Simple Description: A technique used purely for evasive purposes, the user will will synchronize their breathing to that of the opponent, allowing them an indication as to when they are being attacked. Those who have learned this particular technique find themselves unable to perform this indefinitely. May only be used four times per battle. Good for one evasive action. Konoha Senpuu [ Leaf Spinning Wind ] Rank:C :: Simple Description: This Taijutsu attack uses a combination of speed, strength, and the element of surprise. It is a perfect move to link up with other aerial attacks. For this Taijutsu, the ninja first disappears using a quick movement. Seconds later, the attacking shinobi appears just below their opponent and kicks the enemy right on the chin, sending the victim flying up into the air.
