When Victoria looked however she'd only find a jet of flame and a puff of smoke as her opponent abruptly vanished from the room. He wasn't paying the cleaning bill. In his wake however was a spray of coins.

Taking that as her cue to leave, Victoria would take off as well as she left the room with a slight slamming of the door. They had been battling hard, but not only that, but there had been quite a few deaths. So here was the question, to continue or to stop.
She wasn't sure which one she wanted to do at that point as she thought about the pokemon still able to fight, Aella and Phobia. Both were more than likely still battle ready as she thought about where to go next, and looked at the doors.
"A couple of more battles, and then we will leave."
She told herself.

Victoria would turn and aim for the room that was marked Psychic. She had dealt almost with every type except for that one as she would go and open the door ....she would let it swing open carefully as she looked to see if she should run or cringe this time. The last time couple of trainers had been strange, and Psychic by far didn't make her feel all that comfortable .....as she thought of what weirdness she might find behind this door.

What Victoria would discover was an odd sight among many odd sights. The room itself she would noted as darker than the others, not for lack of lighting but rather than design. The walls themselves were painted black, the furniture made of carved, dark coloured wood. Standing in the midst of this ornate display was a man, his blue-gray hair greased back, a long black and purple cloak draped over his shoulders, rustling slightly as he sifted through the contents of a bookshelf. Noticing the sudden draft from the direction the door the man would turn "Well isn't this an unexpected sight" He stated calmly, adjusting the large tome carried in the crook of his right arm, the left rising up to adjust his monocle "I suppose you've come to battle?"

Victoria took one look at the room and then the man with a cape and asked without any hesitation.
"Okay what is wrong with you? The other freaks I have battle looked like they had mental issues, and ....what a minute, this is a freaking hotel ...how in the hell did you get these colors for the room?"
IT would occur to the girl to ask as the end as she looks at him with a sense of dread in her stomach.

"A bit of an ill mannered child aren't you?" The man asked, arching a brow and again adjusting his monocle. "If you must know I'm something of a preferred patron of this establishment. I visit with such frequency they chose to tailor a room to my needs with comfort in mind" The man stated clearly, adjusting the book again "While a 'Battle Hotel' might not seem the ideal choice, I find the random encounters a pleasant reprieve from my work." After the explanation was delivered the man would wait a few short moments to let it all sink before lifting up a Luxury Ball "Now then, I do believe you're here to battle are you not?" The next moment a rather strange creature would appear before Victoria hovering just a few feet above the ground. It's head releasing a low light every few moments it was a mass of tentacles and cuteness, randomly flip upside down and giggling at the girl.

Victoria would only nod her head in satisfaction of his answer.
"So you are ...actually a normal one?"
She was actually smiling. This was going to be a normal battle against a normal guy and ...then she paused as she looked to see the pokemon he released. IT was something she had never seen before as she would release Phobia right afterwards at his confirmation.
"I am here to battle, but what kind of pokemon is that?"
The girl could have used her pokedex, but she wanted to hear what the man would tell her. The pokedex only had the information others who had seen it could tell her, but it's actual trainer should be a lot more helpful. She waited for the answer.

The man would look at Victoria for a moment with confused eyes; however when nature of her question finally dawned upon him he would open the tome in his arms. Licking two fingers the man would swiftly flip through the pages until he reached the one he required. "Inkay, otherwise known as the Revolving Pokemon. Commonly believed to be native only to the Kalos Region. Opponents who stare at the flashing of the light-emitting spots on its body become dazed and lose their will to fight. Generally taking this opportunity to scuttle away and hide. A Psychic and Dark-Type Pokemon with a rather unique method of evolution. It's name is believed to be derived from a combination of Inkfish and Okay" The man read aloud from his notes, almost looking like a tutor giving a lesson as he did so.
After he was finished speaking the man was finished speaking he would close the book, placing it under his arm and looking to the Pokemon of which he'd given such a detail description "Peck please." With that order given the Inkay would float over with surprising swiftness, attempting to nail the Sableye she was batting in the head with her small mouth.  Inkay [F]

Victoria would almost groan. She had wanted a new impression of a new pokemon ...but he got it from a book. She could have done that as she would straight it up and smile.
"Thank you,"
She wasn't really grateful, but she knew better than to be rude. She would instead look over at Phobia who was smiling at that moment as he gave her a wink.
The girl would shiver despite herself.
Though she wasn't afraid of him any longer, it didn't make battling him easier ....as she would only then catch the pokemon's movements.
"Behind you Phobia."
The ghost pokemon would turn only once to see the attack coming as he would try to literally phase away from it. He had managed it once or twice before, though he was still no good at it.

(17 - 2) + (13 - 15) = 13 DMGIt was if the very presence of the Inkay would force the spectre to solidify however, her beak jabbing in to his body in one sharp Peck before the Pokemon would quite literally roll end over end away from him. Though it wouldn't end at the floor. Once her tentacles touched the wall she would begin rolling up it, and then along the ceiling. Inkay [F]

It was the king of all opening moves ....as the pokemon would rock in pain. His move had failed again, and he was pissed .....as Victoria saw the blood as it rolled down his side. The attack was painful indeed ....as the swift movements of the peck would almost render a hole in the ghostly pokemon as he would reach out with his claws .....outstretched.
He wasn't even trying to be funny as he simply went to try and claw a hole in the pokemon that hurt him. Phobia liked a good joke, but this time ...he found nothing in that attack funny.
He was actually for once pissed.

Unfortunately the Inkay would reach the ceiling long before, her master giving a simple command of "Flatter" before turning his attention more directly to their opponent. ">Oh my! Aren't you the biggest most terrifying ghost I ever did see!<" Ctulu squeaked, perfectly faking a shiver up and down her non-existent spine. Inkay [F]

Phobia would stop in his wake ...as he seemed to smile and dance all at once with those praises. No one had every praise him from giving them frights before as he did a little swoon at those words.
(Stupid, that doesn't make me happy)
HE would declare as it would almost seem that he lost any sort of a fight ....
Victoria would only slap her forehead once at the words. Really ...really ...was that how things went.
Though he would stop in the midst of his dance and then pull one eye.
