~Kiro the Hedgehog~

Pressed his finger against his lips to signal every to stay quiet and pointed down to say 'stay here'. He leaps grips onto the thick wiring on the ceiling and held the grenade to his mouth. He crawled his way to the central core which was the computer main frame that has the factory running. As he hang over it, he gripped his legs around the ceiling beams and hung upside down without being in with in the shade above. He slowly unwinds the grenade and drops it right into the central core. In that moment, the explosion sets off as the hooded hedgehog flips on the right side up surface avoiding the blast. With the energy of the central mainframe computer, the explosion was amplified ten times that made the magnetic pulse fry the circuit of every robot and machine with in a hundred foot radius. The lights flickered and the entire system sizzled and shut down completely. With factory completely fried, there was no way Eggman could trace anything in this area. And with every circuit in the premises fried, were would be no way to shut it back on unless it was done manually, especially with all the power completely cut off from the generators.

He jumps back down onto the floor and runs up to the vents leading straight to the medical bay. He grips the seal tightly and rips it off easily with a loud grunt. "This way!!", he calls out to the others as he could here living voices echoing on the other side.

After the factory's mainframe caught the brunt of the EMP and in effect, magnified it, the transport, TD-51, the 8 MR-01s, and Megan's neural/digital interface caught the outer reaches of it, and though at that distance it would just cause the protection circuits to engage, shuttind down everything momentarily. Unfortunately, this causes the transport to drop, and gives Megan a huge headache.
"How did they initiate that large of an electromagnetic pulse?" Megan thinks, knowing that there must be some serious energy behind the pulse generator.

D.L quickly jumped and landed on the floor, he rushed over to the vent but waited for the others. He wasn't sure why they were trying to save the people in the medical bay, he thought there was no point in trying to save them but since he had no choice but to follow them. D.L would do as they planned for now but he wasn't thinking of staying with them, he wasn't sure staying with Iblis was a good idea anymore.

Nina quickly followed after Kiro and went into the vent, she made sure everyone else was coming.

TD had picked up on the pulse with his scanner, once the transport shut down and fell so did he. Although TD wasn't fully affected because of it not reaching him or Megan and her robots, it did cause a slight problem to stand for a moment or at least for him. 'computer chip searching for problem... maintaining... fixing the problem... part of the system had overload... computer chip is back online...' TD then shook his head and stood up on all fours, he had trouble for a moment but his legs finally were responding.

Iblis watched Kiro as he set off the explosion. When she heard Kiro call, she followed the others over to the vent. Suddenly, Iblis thought of something. What were they going to do after they freed the people? Where would they take everyone? There were a lot of people in the medical bay... How could they keep track of everyone? It isn't easy to hide and protect such a large group of people...

As soon as the transporter manages to restart with limited altitude (about five inches from the road), she broadcasts a status report as soon as her radio comes back online.

There's a problem though...

...even though the MR-01s report back immediately, there were no other messages from any other units, and none of the usual chatter. A quick diagnostic reveals that the high-gain amplifier is out. Evidently the edge of the EMP fried the MOSFETS that powered it, but wasn't enough to hurt the standard bipolar transistors that made up the preamp and low-gain circuits. Undaunted, Megan tries using the transporter's radio, with the exact same results. Seems the radio was the only thing without any shielding, because that would make the radio incapable of receiving signals.

"D.L. are you good with computers?", the hooded hedgehog asked as he stayed in place as if he was planning to stay behind.

(Sorry for the short post. My brain his fried)

D.L looked at Iblis as he slightly heard her thoughts, he knew it wasn't possible that everyone could get out alive with such a big group. He didn't smile though when Iblis was just realizing that, instead he frowns slightly and looks away.

When Kiro called his name and asked if he was good with computers, D.L smirked a little and crossed his arms while looking at Kiro slightly. "Yes, I can use any machine... Computers are the most easy to hack." he said but frown a little, he wondered why Kiro asked in the first place. "Why...? You want me to do something about it?" D.L narrowed his eyes at Kiro, he wouldn't like the idea of defending them but so far. He guessed he didn't have much of a choice, since he was wanted dead and all by Eggman's army but what if they wanted him dead too? D.L couldn't trust them and maybe their just planning to use him, pretty much cast him aside afterwards and kill him or maybe when this whole thing was all over.

Nina looked at Kiro then at D.L, she was hoping they wouldn't start a fight or something. She could feel the tension building in the air from D.L, she could tell he didn't trust Kiro or anyone.

Iblis heard Kiro and D.L and could feel the tension rising too. The last thing they needed was a fight right now. Iblis walked over to D.L and gently put her hand on his shoulder. She wasn't sure what to say, but she had a worried look on her face. They would need D.L's help if they were going to get these people out of the base.

D.L felt someone touch his shoulder, he looked back at Iblis and could tell that she was worried. He sighed and looked away to the ground, uncrossing his arms with a slight annoyed expression. "Fine... lets just get this over with before I change my mind." he said but mumbled a few swear words afterwards, he stepped away from Iblis so that she wasn't touching him anymore on his shoulder.

Nina smiled a little, she was glad that D.L decided to help. All thanks to Iblis it seems, she wondered maybe Iblis was right... maybe there was away to save Light. Nina though had a bad feeling D.L might find out before then and might do something horrible, she knew that hedgehog mostly didn't trust anyone and if something made him think otherwise about us then... there might be no chance on getting his trust.

As Megan curses the loss of high-gain communication (mentally, since she's mute), the transporter once again speeds towards the E-1000 factory with the rebooted squad of MR-01 units, and TD-51.

Whoever made that electromagnetic pulse is in it deeeep.

~Kiro the Hedgehog~

Kiro felt the tension D.L. was building up. Kiro wasn't going to fight or argue with him, but earning his keep was his top priority. Anything to get the answers he needs, then be on his way. It was embarrassing enough for him to be meddling with others, let alone asking for help. He was still too weak to stand alone any longer, but D.L. shoulder understand himself that his position is no different, even if he could heal quicker than others. "Just this one last thing...and I'll be out of your hair for good. Thats a promise", said the hooded hedgehog to D.L. stepping toward the main frame compter and opens it up. He knew from the way D.L. looked that he was getting tired of this current situation. And he doesnt blame him one bit. The hooded hedgehoh wanted to get away from this as much as D.L. does. "You two just bring here any engineers and fighters you you know to prep the place up. The medical bay should be just down the corridor and you wont have anymore robots problems now.", he explained to the girls as he began to hot sire the power to the emergency generator. Luckily with the system fried, it can be rebooted to a new setting that can fit perfectly for self defense. "D.L., I just need an extra set of hands with this thing. I can help with the settings on restarting it into self defense mode. I just really suck at hacking the interfaces. I plan to set this place up as a central defense base for the survivors to defend themselves. Theres enough weapons for combat and enough tech to help with the medical machines.", he explained now that theres no one else listening but the hooded hedgehog, D.L. and the girls with the factory dead and cut off from Eggman's sight. With this plan, the hedgehog was definitely ensuring for everyone a chance to recover, get back on thier feet and fight back. The big question is, what will he do then?

Nina nodded at Kiro then started heading off towards the medical bay, she wouldn't wait for Iblis since they had little time.

D.L walked over to the computer Kiro was at and setting it up, he waited until he started it before he moved to the keyboard. "I don't really have a problem with messing with the doctors plans, I would prefer revenge then doing nothing... he deserves punishment on what he did to me." he said as he started typing at a pretty fast pace, focusing on hacking into the interface of all the programs. "This might take awhile..." suddenly as D.L was about to hack into the main files and such, a screen popped up with an error problem. "Argh... I think the grenade might of damaged more then the robots, I'll have to restore it some other way and hack into the system." he said then his rings glowed with electricity, he looked down at his hands on the keyboard then closed his eyes to focus his energy. D.L was going to use his ability to hack into the computer and restore it but restart it's programming, the screen then finally shows the programs of all the orders of defense and such. D.L opened his eyes and backed away from the computer after he had hacked it all with his ability to control machines, he had gotten a headache again from using it though and tried resting by sitting down while rubbing his forehead. "That should do it... now hurry... I don't know how much time we have before Megan comes, she is probably pissed off as it is." he mumbled in annoyance.

All the survivors in the medical bay were gathering and finding things to defend themselves, they were confused at first when all of the sudden the robots shut down but quickly snapped out of it and found weapons.

TD noticed as they got closer to the factory he could see the damage, all the robots near by seemed to have shut down completely but soon his scanners picked up more robots coming towards the empire that had noticed the damage. TD noticed they were mostly robotic hounds and a few others that Megan probably created, the non dog like robots looked more advance though anyway.

Back in Eggman empire the doctor noticed the damage as soon as his computers had trouble working, he got them back online though and most of the communications as quickly as he could. He wondered what caused the disturbance though as he sends a message to Megan, telling her the communications were back online and that he was working on fixing more of the problems on the robots.

Iblis heard Kiro and followed Nina. She helped the people in the medical bay, but also kept an eye on D.L. When she noticed D.L in pain again, Iblis walked over to D.L and applied heat to his head again. She had seen D.L restore the computer and was impressed, but she had also heard D.L mention Megan's return and Iblis knew that D.L was right.
