She didn't want to think about this more than she had to. There wasn't really any point, right? She was what she was, and there wasn't really any point to dwell on or mourn over that fact. Sure, their life was a lie, but at least they had the chance to exist at all, right...?
Or maybe it was just her who thought like that.
When the Voice suddenly spoke up in her mind, she paused and had to stop herself from stumbling. However, after listening to the words silently, she simply shrugged and continued onwards.

After checking where the figment of Mitsu was, he began to climb the stairs, soon noticing that everything was really quiet now. That was mildly perturbing. It didn't take long for him to realize it wasn't just that things were silent. He couldn't hear at all. Shun could see others walking on up the stairs, but their steps were completely silent. He tried to lightly rap the walls with his knuckles and again no sounds were produced. . While Shun didn't mind silence, this was a bit much on that part. He grimaced beneath his face mask. The fact that he couldn't hear made him a little anxious. It meant that he couldn't pick up on anything that might be approaching him from behind or things along those lines. And then he suddenly heard it. The Voice. It sounded rather unhappy. Disappointed. He scoffed lightly at its words. No. He was not created by the Voice. He had his own existence out of this place. His own purpose. And right now that purpose was to kill the very thing taunting him.. If there were others there, Mot wasn't entirely awake of them. other than shadows flicking off of walls, the vibrations he felt from his bare feet... but having no hearing was so disorienting those things took time to take into account. The tower looked as imposing on the inside as it did on the outside. All the figures were moving upwards, and demi also felt the tug of desire to go up. The voice itself did not seem pleased with their arrival as it took away the power of speech and robbed him of the sense of hearing that a hound thrived on. it was that acute sense that kept him alive, kept him focused. Fake or not, it was a personal breech. And that meant the voice needed to get a swift kick in the face from him. the long trek to the top began. Honestly she didn't even notice that she could hear, spending all her focus (limited as it was) on trying to get back to the golden light of pride. The thing that made sense. Person. That was... Until she heard the voice racheting in her head. It was so very loud. And everything... was quiet. That was when she noticed she was deaf. When she yelped and heard nothing. Taking the powers of others? she was ADAPTING. She was Silver. That was what silver did. Was she really silver? the thought was surprising. Yes. ******** YES WHAT THE HELL WAS SHE THINKING. SHE WAS SILVER, HER FATHER HAD BEEN SILVER, HER MOTHER HAD BEEN SILVER, SHE WAS SILVER. And silvers adapted. So she would take the power of others if she needed to!
