 Lucian suddenly sat upright in his bed with all of the commotion upstairs. It had finally shocked him out of his sleep. He looked at Max with a small nod "Let's lend a hand." He said with a small grin.

 Max jumped up when Lucien did. There's something out there that they're shooting at! he thought to Lucien as they ran above-deck. Max bounded over to where the Captain and the others were, looking into the clouds for any sign of what was attacking them.

The Shadow Skirter Captain Rachel T. Cathy The Captain looked over at Iko, Niko, Max and Lucien as they came up. "Get any ranged attacks you have ready to fire! When that monster comes back through the clouds, shoot at its wounded fin!" She yelled to them, pointing to the clouds where the sky shark was most likely to come from next.

Lucian looked towards Max "Umm do we have any ranged attacks?" He thought to him. He then looked out to the clouds, scanning for anything he could see.

 Max nodded and jumped into Lucien's hands in his Weapon form. It's called Justice's Sting. I used it against Detective Blake in the Bahamas, if you remember," he thought to him. Justice's Sting would fire a shaft of light from Justice, the black sword, when pointed at an enemy.

◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆•••Shira listened to the captain and quickly walked towards where the shark would appear next, she began using her soul perception then to see if that would help getting a better hit on the shark. Her arm began turning into something similar to how Lord Death's arm used to look, twisted and demonic looking. I honestly don't think I can do a attack like this three times in a row... Shira thought as she began losing energy, not to mention she still had to finish healing Atticus. Despite becoming drained, she continued to not show it in her expression, she just waited for the right time to attack again. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

  ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Still suffering from his wound, Atticus would hardly be able to see, but he could still make out Shira's presence. Looking at her, Atticus felt that she was losing energy and felt as though it was his fault for allowing her to waste so much trying to heal him earlier. Standing up on his feet, Atticus would struggle for a minute to regain his balance on the shaking ship, then he would make his way to Shira. Standing behind her, Atticus placed a hand on her head, patting her hair down, "Sorry, for not being of much use to you right now. I must be such a bad excuse for a partner." he said, smiling, as he then began resonating his soul with hers, effectively draining his life force, but giving her more power. If this continued, Atticus would probably die before Shira could even heal him, but he was more concerned about protecting Shira, than his own life.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Lucian nodded and took both swords in hand, the black one (Justice) was held normally and the white one was held in reverse. He crouched down and smiled, this was going to be fun.

◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆•••Shira was silent as she felt Atticus pat her head and begin resonating with her. She seemed to accept the energy for a moment before stopping it. "Don't be sorry." she told him as a line on her head suddenly connected. Since they were soul resonating, some of the sudden energy from connecting the Lines of Sanzu went to Atticus. She quickly moved away from him after that, not wanting him to use any more energy on her. She saw the shark then and unleashed another barrage of shadow bullets at it before giving a annoyed look as she got its blood on her as it passed them. Her hand went back to normal then and she glanced over at Atticus "Though if you keep up trying to act tough then you will be." she said "I would prefer you not dying so lets try and fix the injury real quickly." she insisted. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

Max resonated with Lucien, growling deeply as the sky shark raced towards them. Justice Sting! Max yelled in Lucien's head as he fired the shaft of light energy straight towards the shark. It embedded itself deep into the sharks wound, burning and melting through flesh as it went.

Not saying a word, Atticus watched as Shira attacked the beast once more, damaging it again. "You should know by now Princess, I don't act tough. This is my nature, I am a protector. I will always be there to protect even at the cost of my own life." Smiling, Atticus then, fell to the ground, just as Shira would face him and suggest that they start fixing him up soon. Having his wound reopen on him, blood would once more pour out on the deck of the ship, "I-I'm all yours..." he muttered as he had little strength to stand up or even move.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

She placed her hand on the injury like before and it began to turn black in color "I am going to close it, similar to back in the arctic." she told him as her soul wavelength increased and the shadow matter suddenly started increasing in heat "Don't move." she said strictly as her other hand took his.
