Zakariah kept the malicious grin as well as the locked gaze. It seemed she wasn't easily unnerved. Time to have some fun. "I just came to socialize, terrorize, and demonize the plebs around this particular area because I plan on taking over soon. This area will be my domain. But I have to pluck all of the weeds from the Eden I plan to create."
He began to walk around in circles to her left. "I need the scavengers and parasites removed, and I'll do it with my own two paws if I must."

Moirrana looked out into the fields around her and at every single detail that could hide an intruder. "From the stories I've heard from my father, she used to be quite the punisher. How he described mother? Apparently all true."

Moirrana chuckled and began climbing a tree for a better view. When she was satisfied she came back down and began walking again. "Apparently so. Thank the gods father came around, or she'd probably still be that way."

Zakariah flicked his tail in response and drew his wings back. He dug his claws into the ground as well, to give him adequate time to dodge if needed. "Fine. Then I can use some slaves to clear out the rest."

Zakariah flapped his wings and leaped to the side to narrowly dodge the fire, kicking off once landing and dashing towards her with claws raised, aiming straight for her face. More specifically her eyes - just to disable her.

Moirrana stretched her legs and readied herself to run. It had felt much to good to let such a beautiful day pass without more good running. "Exactly. Granted she is rough around the edges, she still loves each and every one of us. I know deep down she'd fight for every one of our lives, even if she sometimes doesn't show it. Her being rough on us is just her way of telling us she cares." and then she took off, getting close to finishing her round of the territory.

The brint of the fire blast connected with Zak, but he flipped back and caught himself with a wing buffet, which also helped fan the flames off of him. He was left a pretty burnt but not enough to debilitate him too much. "I'll sing when your corpse is at my feet, wench!" he screamed as he took another wing, only to feint it and whip himself around with his back claws straight for her stomach.

Moirrana leaped around a river bend and took off with renewed vigor towards the cave, now that the rounds were done. "Let's get back home. I'll race you!"

Zak held his breath so as not to breathe in the embers. The brunt of that attack hit him hard, dazing him and blackening his vision immensely. With desperation and urgency wrapping his mind he did the only thing he could do. He kicked his back legs in a sweep behind fuega's knees, with every ounce of strength he could muster.

Moirrana leaped from tree to tree, gaining speed as she went. She looked down to see that Marri-Mac was quickly catching up and was beginning to pass her. She kicked off of a tree limb and grabbed a vine with her teeth, swining off of it and performing a flip, landing next to MM and taking off again.

Moirrana looked to see that MM had soundly dusted her in speed. But she also noticed up ahead to see fire erupting from the cave. She knew that had to be exceptionally bad news. Her mother had to be in danger! She called out to MM, hoping she could still hear her. "Marri-Mac, Wait! Stop!!!!"

Zak turned to see her hop out of the second Infernal Gate. He was pretty battered up, but he had only one sure way to throw down. Hopefully she was the blind berserker type. "Try? Yea, right. You think this actually hurts? You cause only damage, not pain, b***h. Let your blood sing for me!" he said as he charged once more, ready to dodge anything she had in store for him.

Zakariah skid to a screeching halt and tried to diverge his position to dodge her. Only it was too late. He was charged and soundly pummeled by her attack. he was sent flying into the wall with a crack, crumpling to the ground beaten, battered, bruised, bloody, and burnt. Smoke billowed from tinges of fur on his chest and head, his wings fluffed and some bare from the attack. He slowly stood up and almost fell back over, one eye closed from the beating. He managed to catch himself, but he was very weak. "God...damnit...you'll not...have me beaten...this easily...only the strong survive!" he screamed as he made one last attempt to charge, only to fall over unconscious.

Moirrana heard the roar of her mother, and cowered a little at the sound. That was a scream she had never heard before, and that scared her witless. But her charge did not allow for cowardice. "Mother! MM, the cave is under attack! RUN!" she screamed, running at breakneck speed towards their home.

Kutai was close to the cave when the roar was released, and he immediately dropped his load, running quickly to the cave. He knew that type of scream, and that only meant Fuega was on the prowl. Hold on love, I'm coming!

Moirrana screeched to a halt in front of the cave and saw the form of her mother standing over a badly beaten body. it was still alive, as she could see it's breathing. "Mother! Are you alright?"

Zakariah lay unconscious at Fuega's feet, at her every mercy or lack thereof.
