The mirror was shaking. Roch couldn't get it to hold still long enough for him to see if he could fix the problem with his mouth or needed to go to the healing ward. He didn't know why it was shaking.
"Incoming, incoming!! GET DOWN!"
"No," Roch whispered, his hand tightening on the small mirror so tightly that it cracked. "Not again. Not now." He shoved himself to his feet, stumbling over his own boots as he started off at a run. The run was awkward, not casual and cocky as it usually was. He even ran into the doorframe with his shoulder, careening backwards with the impact.
"I SAID GET DOWN, THE FORCE FIELDS ARE SHATTERED THE HIT WILL--"
The explosion was echoing, deafening the fourteen year old boy to everything. He wasn't sure what had happened. His body felt cold, numb. Someone grabbed him by the shoulder as things started to get drawn out the gaping hole in the wall next to him. Roch couldn't understand. He looked up at his boss, seeing his mouth moving by not hearing what he was saying.
Awkwardly he reached down, trying to push himself to his feet--but--but-- he stared blankly at the empty space that was supposed to be his arm. It was gone.
Shock set in, his heart starting to beat double time as blood sprayed--
"NO." The word was ripped from his lips as he forced himself back to the present. Sometime during the memory he had fallen to his hands and knees. There was a puddle in front of his face--it took him a long moment to realize it was tears.
He had just had a breakdown on the main floor of the ship. He took a long, deep breath, trying to calm himself. Thank GOD that no one was there...
He hoped. It had been years since his last episode, dammit. What had--
No, he knew what had set it off. He just didn't know how to fix it, he thought as he shoved himself to his feet.

[[Entering from Silver Tower]]
Mitsu returned to the ship mostly unscathed. As soon as she stepped foot on the third floor her pandabot came to attention and toddled in her direction.
"Doki doki doki." It came to stand next to her waiting for instruction but Mitsu just knelt to pat the little bot before continuing to walk. As its programming dictated it followed as she made her way back to the clinic. She had been rather injured up until the end, if the others faced the same trials no doubt they weren't fairing any better. It was only by chance she had been healed but she had no idea by who.
"Come on Pandy, I have a feeling we have some work ahead of us." Mitsu said softly, quickening her step until she was back at the infirmary.

Returning from Labyrinth!
Ryan returned a little worse for wear, but in tact. He was one of the lucky ones. The only damage he had done to him was one nasty puncture wound on his leg. The rest was merely drained energy thanks to the miasma flowers.
"Back, and may I suggest we never return to that place. Ever."

For those who had returned to the ship, the commander was nowhere in sight. His androids, however, were clearly still loitering around the ship. The holoscreen was still up and the others—passengers, minor crewmen, and the like—began to slowly filter back in with caution, but for the most part the room still remained desolate. A mere trickle compared to its usual stream of people.
And then there was an echoing yell from one corner of the room. What in the…
Looks like a certain android had deemed it appropriate to cruise around the ship on the commander’s prized hover bike. Hopefully that damned robot wouldn’t damage it, considering all the damn hours Wilson put into tricking out this thing. Perhaps the commander would reward whoever caught the rebellious contraption! Wilson really needed to install some sort of obedience chip onto this suckers…
Maybe one of the commanding crewmen here could be oh so kind as to chase after this loose cannon of an android and apprehend them, except he was going awfully fast.
Maybe it was time for a race?OOC THE GREAT RACEHey guys! You guys are super awesome, so I decided to throw a special mini game for anyone in the thread~ This race will be judged partly with rolls and partly with content, so be sure to pay attention to both aspects! I'll be leaving this game open indefinitely, so feel free to do this at your leisure~ Mechanics (simple because I can't write dice rules for beans) THIRD FLOOR (because this is where the meeting room is DO YOU REMEMBER) -Roll 1d20 -1-5: Good job! Looks like learning how to ride a hover bike really paid off. You'll catch this sucker in no time.+2 -6-10: Your riding skills aren't the best, but certainly not the worst. You're lagging behind a bit, but not too far.+1 -11-15: jfc you are the god of riding hover bikes.+3 -16-20: Somewhere, Wilson is frowning down at you for crashing into one of the vendor stalls. Good job...+0 SECOND FLOOR -Roll 1d20 -1-5: There's a reason why the commander said not to race in the residential area, you know. +0 -6-10: jfc you are the god of riding hover bikes.+3 -11-15: Ouch. Watch where you're going! Do you know how troublesome it is to remove dents from these bikes?? +1 -16-20: You nearly ran over some workers, but they can always go to the infirmary, right? +2 FIRST FLOOR -Roll 1d20 -1-5: The android is within sight! You're so close. Maybe if you press the gas pedal even more...+2 -6-10: Holy cow. How are you supposed to navigate around these engines? Being white kingdom is suffering. +1 -11-15: And then you crashed your bike into the other bikes. That's totally coming out of your paycheck. +0 -16-20: Now you're side-to-side with the robot. You pull out your weapon and take a good smack at thing. Nice one! +3 Feel free to roll all of the dice in one post! But wait, who caught the android? Well, I guess we'll have to see! The winner receives a little something from me. What is that something? You'll see. Hint it's a minipet

After many hours in the infirmary Zephyros was finally able to stand up and wobble about. His side still hurts... but at least he wasn't bleeding anymore. Lucky enough Zephyros also receieved miasma from that traumatic torture over at the Valley. His entire body shuddered from the reminder.
Intent on forgetting what happened he decided to walk around the ship and enjoy as much as he could before the Voice interrupted their lives again.
But then there was a screech. He saw an Android fly by him on a hooverbike... wait. that wasn't just any hoover bike, it was the commanders. He can recognize the overly exotic thing a mile away! What was the android doing, was it crazy?!
This gave Zephyros a chance to forget the bad and go after the android. Quickly he jumps onto his own hooverbike ( Because he was in too much pain to fly.) Thank god he knew how to ride these otherwise that would've been some stupid decision.
He didn't know how to drive it that well though, because soon he crashes into a pole that was right in front of him. How ridiculous. With a groan he starts up the bike again and tries once more to follow the Android. The others are soon following after him-- even moving ahead of him.
They look like they know how to drive better than he did-- and of course? Why not? He usually flies!
...But then he crashes into other people. Causing a small mushroom bomb. Zephyros lays on the ground looking beaten up more than he did earlier... maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all.
( Miscounted this morning, he has 3 points <_< )

David was being dragged. He didn't know where, he didn't care where. As long as he was being dragged away. The young man's mind was empty, yet somehow racing. ... ... The tower was gone. ... ... His life was gone. Everything. The Voice meant nothing to him. A gift? He could barely manage to muster hate within himself at that word. Obsolete. His home. Obsolete. He didn't want to know what Miasma was. What possible use could he have for it? What possible use could anyone have for something so...insidious? A shudder racked his body. He never wanted to understand how anyone could do this. Nkosazana's presence managed to calm his ravaged nerves, and he nodded mutely as she led him off. [Exiting White Kingdom]

Entering from Tower
Exhausted, Kat made her way back to her kingdom, happy in the knowledge that she had not returned empty handed. Hopefully others were as successful, if not more. In any case, she had it on good faith that their kingdom would do well. At least, that's what she believed.
Taking a quick glance about the room, she spotted a few faces about. It appeared she wasn't the only one who had recently returned from her duty. Grinning, she made her way over to the group, only to pause at the sight of a certain android taking a joy ride on what she assumed to be the commander's bike. More than likely, it was not supposed to be pulling such a stunt, which resulted in the feline prepping one of the hover bikes in order to pursue them.
Things were going well, very well. She had ridden one of these bikes a few times, so she already had a feel for them. Though, being in poor health since returning.. things started to go downhill far too quickly for her liking. Hitting a few objects, which she hoped were not important, Kat then collided with a few other bikes, thus ending her pursuit completely. Yet another chunk of her salary gone.
With that done, she stepped away from the bikes, finding the closest seat possible.
She was so done for now.

Pokerus Sighed and massaged her sore legs. They seemed to be doing alright now that she was back on the ship, but considering how poorly she did, the Drogiam was spoiling for some action. Something to allow her to channel her infinite rage. And that something came in the form of a rebel android looking on some thrills on the commanders bike. She watched the thing whizz pass her, and a grin appeared on her face. Looks like she'd need to chase after the thing.
There were a few spare hoverbikes located in the meeting room, and she grabbed the blue one for herself. It was a good thing she had practiced using one before; there had been a few instances were some passengers had stolen a few and went for a joyride on the ship, so she had to go after them. This case was no different, and she had the thing started and moving in no time, quickly gaining speed.
The android was already moving towards the second floor of the ship, and it was a tricky maneuver to steer the hoverbike in the tight passages of the tunnels that connected each level. Though when the android took the most easier, lower level, Poke decided on a more bad a** version; picking up speed, she literally rode along the wall to escape a few other passengers and bikes, then turned on the throttle and sped onto the next level.
Which just happened to be the first level, containing the engines. "WHAT THE FUC-" Was her first reaction as she had to get fancy. The hoverbike barely squeezed through the engine room, and she had a right fun time of trying not to blow up the things supposed to get them off the planet (she still hoped they'd work someday, so it was the one thing on her 'don't blow the ******** up' list)

Madeline landed with a heavy thump in the transportation room, and without thought, unceremoniously slid down to her knees. Her fingers fought her all the way as she removed the gasmask, and her body shuddered to the sudden change of climate. She was blessedly relieved to see technology again; the room was quiet apart from the beep and click of the running programs and androids all around. Her mind whirled back to the labyrinth and all of the s**t she'd gone through just for points. Unbidden, a smile, and then a laugh split from her lips.
Gods, she thought, is this what life is gonna be like now?
Pushing herself up with determination, Madeline caught her balance and made her way out of the room. "Well," She mused to herself, "if thats how it's gonna be, I'm sure as hell getting food before I do that again." Flipping up her PDA, the girl made her way slowly back to her room, where she threw all of her clothing into a contamination slot in the wall. She then took no time in jumping into the connecting bathroom, where the warm spray of a shower greeted her. The surgeon stretched her tired muscles out, slowly working energy back into her body again as she dressed in a new set of clothes and nibbled away at a few snack bars she'd stashed beneath her bed alongside the comics she'd somehow managed to smuggle on board.
Deciding after a long nap that she'd better check on the infirmary and the meeting room, Madeline made her way up to the working floor, where apart from a few milling members of the ship, she didn't see anyone dying or bleeding out on the medical center floor. Satisfied, Madeline dropped off the vial of blood she'd taken from herself earlier and trotted up to the meeting room. It was a relief to see a few familiar faces inside, but none that sparked anything painstakingly happy. She didn't see Dakota around... or Ami.
Chewing on her lower lip, Madeline stepped backwards, turning with the intent to roam the ship, steal a bike or two, and drift to get her mind back to its original setting. However, certain misbehaving robots had other ideas. Madeline watched as it zoomed off on Wilson's bike and - well, that just wasn't fair.
She wanted to ride Wilson's bike.
Hijacking a nearby sleek, new dark model, Madeline revved the engine experimentally before kicking up the stand and clicking it into full activation. A part of her was saying this wasn't a good idea, she'd just gotten back from a nearly dire situation and really should have been resting. The rest of her, however, was saying <******** yeah, lets see how this goes down. And of course, one could only guess what the surgeon decided to listen to in the end. The engine purred beneath her as it zoomed off, and she leaned into corners and laughed in wild glee when she jumped barriers and dashed down steep slopes.
She nearly even forgot about the android until she caught sight of it again.
It went down into the residential corridors, and ignoring the part of her that was starting to protest (read: her muscles and her brain), Madeline took to the challenge. That challenge quickly kicked her butt a few minutes later when she nearly ran over a few passengers, yelling out rushed apologies as people dove in and out of rooms in order to avoid her.
She was panting by the time she got down to the first floor, black spots appearing in the corners of her eyes. She would later blame contact failure on the crash that she somehow managed to walk away from unscathed... though she couldn't exactly say the same for the bikes.
"Well." She put her hands on her hips, surveying the damage with a scowl. "No one can say I didn't try."
She then made a show of collapsing face down next to wherever Kat had sat.
They could be bike failures together.

Lumikki stood in the shadows watching Roch she had heard a noise on her way to the clinic. Granted she did get side tracked when she passed the meeting room. She had some how found herself in a chase with the other crew trying to catch an android. It didn't end very well for her. But after getting banged around in the engine room she had found herself back near Roch. Tilting her head to one side then the other, still hidden completely in the shadows, "Ro...Roch? Do...Do you need help? I...I can go find Mitsu?"
Honestly she wasn't sure if it was something they could help with but it would be worth a try he looked kinda shaken up and slightly battered. It would be worth asking. [[Lumi has 3 points]]

Bix watched everyone take off after the renegade android and smirked to himself. It would be a good distraction to do something a bit more light hearted than collapsed kingdoms and battling into oblivion. Especially if these could be their last days...
The albino leapt onto a bike of his own and took off. The third floor was familiar to him and he graced the turns skillfully. He zoomed past all the others, feeling like a veritable god of all hoverbikes. Unfortunately the transition down to the next floor was not as graceful and while cutting a sharp turn he heard the bike scraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaape along the wall.
"s**t.." He winced as his skin crawled both with the sound and the reality of what he knew the side of the bike now looked like. With new resolve he stepped down on the accelerator and pulled even with the 'droid.
"Hey.." Nothing. "HEY! You think you wanna maybe.. PULL OVER!" Bix struggled to keep the steering while grabbing for his bow. The collapsible weapon was nothing more than a solid tube strapped to his thigh. His bike swerved, fell back, and then powered forward again.
"I SAID STOP!" He knocked it at the base of the skull with the end of the weapon and with a sputter, some whirring computer sounds, and a crackle the droid slumped.

Roch looked over at Lumi. He was still a bit pale, but he was recovering. He was about to reply when he saw the bike race past. He KNEW that bike, he thought, racing for one of his own. He could just hope he was straightened up enough to chase the damn thing, he thought as he hopped on, revving the motor.
"I'll tell y'after this," he called to the fox girl. THIS was something he could handle.
He was behind--lagging a bit because he hadn't noticed it before the others, and he was still getting his bearings back from the little episode, but the feel of the bike between his legs was awakening the guy he'd been before all the tragic memories came back, and by the time he reached the second floor, he was grinning like a moron.
The hoverbike passed the others, weaving through the group smoothly as if they were standing still. He hugged the walls, even though this was a place you technically weren't supposed to be horsing around it. He KNEW this ship. He knew it better than most of the guys that had lived there their entire lives--especially on the back of a hoverbike. His body leaned forward and he passed almost all the other chasers without even glancing at them.
The first floor--his home floor, practically, was perfect for catching the android. He watched as the white haired guy pulled up beside the android--suddenly feeling a bit of respect for Bix, regardless of his stance on Bix's beliefs. "Stay on that side!" he called to the albino.
He pulled his bike up on the other side of the bike and brought up his right arm, turning it into a mallet. "Stop the bliznoxin' bike, dipshit!" he said, banging it on the back of the head. Except--if they took out the android there was the chance the bike would crash, he realized.
That would be freakin' TRAGIC. And their commander would KILL THEM! Plus, the damage it would do to the ship--he cursed.

Lumikki tilted he head to one side to the other. Did he just run off while she was trying to be nice? Then again the chase DID seem interesting to the other crew. Besides she could yell at Roch when she found him possibly bite him too. Finding him with Bix they seemed to have gotten the android so far. Her ears perked up as she watched. He looked so different happy almost. Too bad she was planning on ruining it. Looking around to find a perch to jump from a bite to his shoulder would probably give her the best grip if he tried to drop her. Grinning evily she found the best spot. Scampering off she suddenly appeared on Roch shoulder her small sharp teeth cutting deeply. Not bothering to talk like civilized people.

"So, that Valley was total ho-"
Renatus had simply walked back into the room expecting his Commander to be there, as well as all the other crewmen. When he realized it was mostly deserted, however, he stopped awkwardly in mid sentence and raised both brows in question.
"Where the hell did everyone go?"
It was only then that he saw the tail glimpse of the android on the Commander's favorite bike and the few crewmen that had been around on its tail.
Great.
With no time to waste, he hopped on one of the few remaining bikes, ignoring the dull ache in his leg where a wound should have been. It roared to life and he soared.. right into a nearby vendor's stall. The wall crumbled around him and he groaned. Backing the bike into reverse, he shook off a few remaining wall fragments, and made a (somewhat more cautious) take off after the rest of his crew.
But as he made his way down to the second floor, he was beginning to question his abilities. Between his aching leg and the way he had to use it to grip the bike, and the fact that there were actually other people milling around down here, he was starting, stopping and swerving like a mad man. At the last second he had to duck to the side, nearly crashing straight into a wall as he avoided a small Merconian whelp. His leg grazed the corner and he grimaced, rounding down to the first floor.
It was no easier to duck in and out of the engines than it was to avoid the people in the residential area. He stopped and started awkwardly, swerving in and out, completely lost behind the pack of crewmembers that actually seemed to know how these things worked. As he rounded another engine part, his bike let out a curious hissing noise that he was pretty sure was a bad sign..
But he was still going! Slowly.
