About an hour later they arrived at their positions. Once they were completely their Beck did a headcount and nodded. Everybody was here. The prince then ran up a nearby tree and stood on a branch that overlooked the city. A few others followed his example and would await the signal.

Tray right now had made sure her team was accounted for and was simply waiting for any other orders and signals. Wishing she could get her mind off of the conversation she and Beck had had the night before.

About half an hour later Beck looked at the town as he saw various flame at different heights. The color was green. Good to go and with a smile he drew out a knife. "ATTACK!" yelled the Prince as he ran across the branch and jumped over the wall, landing on a soldier, placing the knife in his neck before rolling onto the ground and pulling out the sword to slash down another guard. The others looked at Beck and were about to attack when the wall behind him exploded. The blast had sent rubble rather far and high, hitting quite a few enemies before the squad had began to run through the various sized holes. As they were all stunned Beck simply began to run towards the castle, hoping to catch Viktor in time. As he arrived at the steps though a man with a spear stood in his way. The prince rolled his eyes and ran towards the man, using magik to push him to the side and then down the steps. Once he got to the door, the prince kicked it open with ease and walked in. "Viktor I am here to...fight...you..." said the Faowind rather loudly, his eyes laying on the Dictator himself. Gaurds began to run towards Beck with their swords held high. With a small sigh Beck focused a bit of magik into his palm and withstood the pressure building in the little spot. As it grew in size the enemies got closer. With a smile Beck took a step forward and thrust his hand forward, sending out a rather large blast of wind energy with a rather loud crack. Soon followed by the clatter of armor and weapons. Viktor clapped and stood up, letting his cape drop to the floor behind him before drawing his own wicked blade. "WHO ARE YOU!?" demanded the Ruler as they both walked towards each other. "I am from a family you murdered long ago for the throne." smiled Beck as he threw a fireball at Viktor, who merely slapped it aside with ease. An explosion followed as it hit the ground. "I see...an imposter of the Faowind bloodline. I murdered the entire family, including their adorable little boy." His sword fell to the ground and scraped it as his steps grew louder. Beck frowned as anger showed in his eyes. "Then you should know this blade." he said as he dashed towards the man, swinging in an arc that Viktor blocked. His eyes looked at the blade and widened. "WHAT!?!? IMPOSSIBLE! I HAD THAT BLADE DESTROYED!" exclaimed the tyrant as he pushed away the weapon and used magik to push back Beck.

Tray right now was following Beck's team and leading her's inside the walls as well and fighting through towards the palace. She wanted to be sure she was available for back up for him but as she neared the palace she actually hesitated briefly. Sensing someone behind her though she turned around and locked blades with a random knight and after kicking his sword out of his hand and pushing him back she decided not to delay any longer and ran up the palace steps.
Once inside the main hall she took a beeline for the right and hid behind a pillar, glancing around it she noticed Beck and Viktor going head to head she bit her lip then looked around. If she could get above him she could send an aerial assault of arrows down at the magic wielding overlord. Running for the nearest tapestry she climbed up it from the side where neither could see her. Then one on top of the balcony she looked down at the two and then taking out her bow and some arrows she sent at least three right for Viktor

The prince let out a small grunt as he was pushed back. Two of the three arrows landed in his shoulder and scraped the back of his calf. Viktor winced in pain as he took a step to the side. His eyes flashed anger as both fighters looked in the direction only to see nothing. Beck frowned and looked at Vik as he pulled out the projectile and tossed it aside before using magik to heal the wound. Beck then smiled and took the opportunity to concentrate on his blade. A small glow began to emanate from the steel before the Prince took a step back and threw the sword towards the opponent. Viktor saw the blade and blocked it but froze as it stayed against his blade with a surprising amount of force. Beck suddenly appeared with the blade in hand, behind the enemy and made a diagonal cut that sent a strong magic blast towards Viktor. He grunted as he flew forward from the attack and slid on the floor. He quickly got up however and began to throw small balls of magik at Beck, who in turn did the same. The magik met and various cracks and bangs echoed throughout the room.

Damn it how could she had hit Beck? Cursing at herself she hid before either could see her and she bit her lip and closed her eyes she was still shaken over the fact that Beck was still upset over their conversation last night. She hadn't wanted to hurt him in any way but she had.
She glanced back and watched the two fight on. At least one arrow hit Viktor it allowed Beck to have the upper hand, good. She smiled a little bit at Beck's magik skill, it seemed to match that of Victor. Pretty damn good for her not teaching him how to use it he was all self taught. Hearing the explosions around the room Tray ducked a little and walked along the balcony to go to the other side of the room.
As she ran she looked to her side and then blinked and her eyes widened as she noticed a rouge fireball head right towards her she stopped running and stepped back as the fireball hit the balcony making the floor below collapse and break. At first she seemed safe she just barely dodged it she took a deep breath of relief which was a reaction too soon as more of the balcony collapsed under her feet. "AH!" Looking up she quickly grabbed hold of the nearest ledge and was now holding on with one hand with dear life at this point. She glanced towards Beck and Victor to see the fight before looking upward as she started to try to pull herself up.((I do not know how put somehow without thinking I had accidentally deleted the first post I made haha laptop was being slow and I guess I clicked a few things without thinking silly me.))

Beck son teleported in front of Viktor and placed his palm in the Overlords face, using a small beam of energy to blow him away. With a small smile he looked at the opponent who lay before him, motionless and face burnt. Relaxing the Prince looked towards the scream and saw Tray. He froze and took a step towards her before experiencing a sudden pain in his stomach, causing him to stop in his tracks. Looking down he saw a knife before he slowly looked at the person who was Viktor. "No...that was the strongest magik attack I had!" muttered the Prince as he took a step back. The smiling Ruler pulled out the blood-soaked blade and pushed Beck down to the ground. "You were weak. I honestly had higher expectations for you little Faowind.." frowned the Dictator as he raised his palm. "Weak like your father...how sad." with that a bright red light began to form in his hand, slowly getting bigger as Viktor concentrated. Beck looked at Tray with fear in his eyes. Just as the opponent was about to blast away his rebel, paused and instead followed his line of sight with his own. A small smile crept onto his face as he said "I feel sorry for you. Everybody who knows you eventually dies." with that he changed his course of hand and fired a large beam of red magik towards Tray instead. Beck grew wide eyed and yelled "NO!"

Tray by now was slowly pulling herself back up. She looked behind her just in time to see Beck shoot Vicktor in the face with a Magik blast she smiled but then blinked and her eyes widened when she say Victor appear behind him and stab him. "Beck." She looked right at him at his fear, she had to help him looking away she tried to pull herself up again and grunted a little as she did. She was about to succeed too when she heard Beck yelling out she looked at him and saw the blast coming her way. Her eyes widened, she was trying to find a way out of this mess but...it was either get hit or...fall...Biting her lip she looked at Beck before looking away and tightly shutting her eyes she pulled away from the ledge and started to fall to avoid the blast.
As she looked around for a way to save herself from breaking her leg she noticed she was near a tapestry. She reached a hand out and took hold of it. Unfortunately she ended up ripping it and she kept falling anyway. Luckily though the tapestry allowed her to fall better and as she landed on the ground with a loud thud she groaned a little. She didn't break a body part but she did hit really hard. Shortly after that she looked up in time to see the rubble from the blast Victor sent out at her falling right towards her. She couldn't move except to curl into a little ball just as the rubble landed on top of her.

"TRAY!" called out Beck as tears welled up in his eyes, only to be replaced by anger. With a broken heart and a serious injury, he knew he would have to retreat. With gritted teeth the Prince yanked out the knife and flipped the blade around before he threw it at Viktor, using magik to turn around and give him a boost as he ran away, tears began to fly behind him when Viktor yelled out in pain. The Prince felt his heart drop into a dark abyss as he left the girl he loved and the enemy he failed to kill behind.--------------------------- Viktor looked at the rubble with a smile and held the bloodied knife in his hands. There was a bleeding line across his face and a closed eye. The knife flew past his face but was close enough to cut one eyes and leave a rather large gash across the rest of his face. He walked towards his chair and sat back down with a small sigh. The last attack used up too much energy to chase after the boy. Raising a bloodied hand to his face, the Dictator began to heal what could be saved of his face.

Several of both Beck's and Tray's teams noticed Beck coming out but he did not look like that of a victor and then where was Tray? They all knew something had to gone wrong but they waited orders. One solder ran up to him. "Your wounded we need to get you out of here."------- It seemed like forever for Tray she groaned a little and opened her eyes and looked around her, it was a little dark and her vision was blurred but she was alive. She put her hand to her head and felt something wet, not good she must be bleeding. Looking around she slowly turned to her stomach and looked for a way out of the mess she was apparently in. Finding a small hole that she could get through she slowly crawled through it into a large room and light. After falling back to the ground and panted since she used a lot of energy she coughed a little and looked at her soundings her vision was slowly returning.

Beck looked at the soldier and nodded as tears streamed down his face. Quickly wiping them off he slowly began to heal his wound, but being too tired and not enough energy made him know it wouldn't work. He needed rest. "You're right." he looked around and noticed that his soldiers were winning. He pointed to a few guys and said "You're coming with me to the medical tent." with that he took a few steps forward, vision becoming faded and blurry before turning to darkness. Beck fell to the ground, exhausted and wounded. Two soldiers picked up the Prince and put his arms around their necks before they began to leave the battle field. ---------------------------------------------- Viktor had heard of the coughing and moving rubble. Looking over he saw Beck's friend lay on the ground, clearly in pain and exhaustion. He grabbed a nearby cane and stood up with a grunt before walking towards her, panting as he did so. "I see...that you survived. Such a remarkable thing but too bad no one will know. Your comrade abandoned you. It feels as though your troops are retreating." The Dictator stopped in front of her and raised his palm. "Too bad you will die." A ball of magik began too form in his hand with a smile creeping onto his face.

The other solder followed the ones carrying Beck he walked behind them his back also to them as he was a cover for them to get out. All the while still wondering...where was Tray? ------- Tray looked up at Viktor lazily and dazed as if she was confused what was going on she didn't understand much of anything he said. "Who...are you...?" she groaned and put her hand to her head it hurt like hell. "Who...am I, where...where is this?" She curled into another ball and groaned again. "What is going on I'm...so...confused...Damn it...my head...it hurts..."

Once the men got to the tent the soldiers posted outside as guards while two men began to quickly take care of Beck. One medic assessed his vitals while another began to heal him slowly. --------------------------- Viktor stopped and let the magik just swirled at it's current state. A smile crossed Vik's lips as it slowly shrunk and began to return as his natural energy. His hand then extended warmly towards the girl and said "Tasha...good to see you're safe. Come. You are at my castle and I will have my men take care of you. I'm Viktor. I am your savior." With that he let out a whistle that echoed throughout the room. It was rather shrill and then changed in pitch throughout the room. A squad of four quickly appeared to his side. A plus sign was stitched on they're uniforms to represent medical care. "Take Tasha here and get her cleaned up. Let her take as long as she needs." said the Ruler as he turned and began to walk off. The men did as they were told and carefully moved the rubble away from her as they began to check her vitals and level of consciousness.
