This time, when the ram headbutted him, he grabbed and held on, good eye glaring at his target. "Do NOT run from Than!" The Fae-hound protested, digging paws into the dirt below him in a likely futile attempt to keep the ram from running away from him again. Now if he could just hold on...a little...longer...
The ram proceeded to laugh at the notion, bleating at the futility of Than's quest, as it ran right over him, the pup's instant reflex being to curl in as small of a ball as he could manage, and just be excessively glad that none of the hooves pegged him in the head. Rolling over to a sitting position, he figured...that he'd just have to try again!
Than stared at the ram, and the ram stared back, and he tried once more...to grab at the minipet, holding on for a long moment, before stubby fingers became too tired, and the pup's hold gave out. The ram looked a bit tired as well, but certainly not so tired as the Fae-Hound.
"Yous and Than is going to have another battlelike!" He threatened, waving a finger at it.

Coming up to Red tiredly, he waved, "Than will be backlike..." Though it was mostly a declaration to himself more than anything. Giving a whuffling sort of sigh, the Fae-Hound shrugged narrow shoulders. "At least this times Than did NOT get burny hands."

More semi-drunk off of punch and cider meanderings occurred as Alexander continued on his course around the Spirit Week festivities. His attention was drawn towards a penned off area, where it appeared something exciting was going on. He shuffled his way closer, stopping to watch in curious amazement at what was going on.
Ram wrangling? Okay that looked like way too much fun to pass up! When the pen looked to be clear of students and horsemen who were trying to capture themselves a ram, the zomboil through himself in, grabbing ahold of the first one that came within his grasp and locking his arms around it's neck as she tried to drag it down to the ground and subdue it.
What he hadn't really been anticipating was for the other rams to start headbutting him and kicking at him while he was at it.

He hand his death grip on the ram and there was no way he was about to let go! Still, he had apparently chosen a feisty one, and it was really giving him a run for his money as it continued to struggle and rear up and pull him around the pen while, yes, the other rams continued to kick at him.
He could feel that the ram was beginning to wear down, but he could also feel his own Fear shield being pummeled relentlessly by tiny little hooves. Still, he was not about to give in that easily, and he pressed down firmly on the ram, attempting to make it buckle beneath his weight.
The ram seemed to have gotten a momentary burst of energy or a second wind or something as it began bucking wildly and thrashing around beneath the zomboil, getting it's feet back under it once more and taking him for a bit of a ride.
He really wished the other rams would stop kicking at him. It was starting to get a rather annoying.
And finally, Alexander had had enough. He grit his teeth together against the assault from the other rams, letting out a snarl of frustration before digging his heels in and flattening the one that he had a hold of into the ground.
It finally stopped struggling and lay still, too exhausted to continue the fight.
"I think I got this one!" Alexander called out, having a glance around for whoever was running the booth and..
...His eye landed on none other then Red. Red. The woman whom he had entrusted his unlife with when he had given her his Fear crystal. The woman who had used him and his friends to defeat Caelius.
And now at least one of those friends had Insanity, and it was all Alexander's fault.
He felt his gaze drop, not sure what to say or how to feel right at the moment. He had so many questions for the professor, but now just really wasn't the time to voice any of them.
The ram was quite strong and Ricar was sure the rope would break a few times. Ricar gave it one more swift tug and the ram got close enough for red to subdue the pet.
YEE-HAW! C'MERE LITTLE RAM!

'Ere we go. Turning to verify the stomping footsteps behind her were from the wrath demon, Levi grinned a toothy grin while pointing a finger to the lassos. Looked pretty tricky. Reckon it'sa whole lot harder than that time in War Isle. They'd been trying on larger prey back then, and Levi had caught hers without hassle. The smaller the target, however, the more troubling it is to predict where to aim and when. She was no cowghoul, but Levi did find it to be a fun pastime.
The real objective here? A fair challenge with West where the tatzel could clearly say she had gotten the best of him. If the boil wasn't capable of wrestling in his current condition, she'd meet him halfway and smite him through wrangling. With affection, of course.
But I bet I can whip yew... No, not in the manner she'd already provided. Levi tilted her head playfully, smirk still suggesting a sly purpose to her words she hoped West would play into.
