it does look flat as a sheet
but looking at this red demon here, the hair looks quite silky or it's just me? xD

I don't think stolen was the right word, but in a way it's nice to know that my work is beginning to circulate. It's kind of hard to see the value of myself as an artist sometimes when the only confirmed interest in my art is between myself and sometimes the person the art is for. Even if they have no idea who I am, it's nice to know that I'm starting to have a fan base outside of just my parents. dramallama
Yeah looking at my old work now, I have a new found appreciation for my tablet. Trying to shade with a mouse was never easy and it was so obvious my color theory could have used some work. xp
I've finished the face for my demon, but it's unbearably unappealing so I'll be looking into solutions to see if I can fix it. gonk
I finally got an eye style I like, but my next stop is studying noses.

As I'm starting to get into the lighting effects I feel like I'm making one big mistake. I don't understand a thing about what I'm even doing and for better or worse I'm just faking it the entire way through. dramallama
