Taking a small moment to just close her eyes and breathe, Narisa gave Kindra a warm smile, a hand gently laying over hers. "Thanks. I definitely need all the help I can get. If you think of anything I haven't thought of, set it into action. I trust you." The woman was like a sister to her and she had no doubt Kindra could (and would) do everything each of them could. "I... " She frowned, trying to find a way to voice what was on her mind. "I know it's important to take care of those at the Weyr and these sharding felines. But... I feel like we need someone to take to the shadows and investigate around the area. See if they can find anything... unusual." However, Narisa couldn't risk someone like that, let alone ask them to do so!

Kindra tag to Narisa/gathered riders
Kindra gave Narisa's arm a comforting squeeze, listening to her and nodding. She turned her head towards the gathered riders and raised her voice. "Any volunteers for a scouting mission come and report to Narisa" she called out, turning to grin at Narisa, if the woman wouldn't do it herself then Kindra would, they would work together but she would take direction from the other weyrwoman. Knowing it was likely important for Trine to look to a Trine weyrwoman, she knew how she would feel were it Benden.
"Anytime," Set'al said with a nod and a slight smile for Narisa, before moving to do as Z'fer had asked and help with the tables. He tried to keep an eye to the goings-on, just in case, and listen to what was being said. He was quietly impressed by how good his friend was at all this - not surprised, but impressed.
By the time the tables had been arranged, Kindra was asking for volunteers for a scouting mission. Hnn. "I don't know what you have in mind, exactly, but I can cover a lot of ground, even in the dark."
...and he might regret that later, but he was beginning to feel more and more awkward just standing around like his friend's shadow. Oh, and moving some tables.

F'iar and Solath
F'iar was a bit nervous. With all going on..And with the WeryWoman seeming out of it. Calm, Mine. You stay and help the injured. I will go find the felines. Solath started moving away, stepping around some areas, but it was dark and he wasn't seeing things clearly. F'iar looked at the group and stared at his dragon shambled after. Be safe and return to me. He would of said uninjured, but Shards if he was going after Felines, it was a sure bet there would be injuries.
S'kiro and Neptanth Hunting
The senior of the group of blues, S'kiro looked for the Sr. Weryling that he shared a weyr with, along with A'in. Spotting F'iar, he ran up to him. "Go, join the others and help them. I will go after Solath and keep him safe as can be." Mine, I see nothing, but they say Trine is on fire. I will stay in contact with little blue as you hunt.
Kindra had forgotten the Bronzerider's name offhand but Suunath supplied the Dragon's name as Pipith and Kindra remembered the man. "Set'al, Narisa thinks that it might be a good idea to have someone scouting that isn't heading into the jungle or right to the Weyr, there is something... off about this whole thing and it would be a good idea to have an extra pair of eyes elsewhere, do you think you could go and scout the quieter areas?" she asked him, making sure he knew that the idea had been Narisa's.

Sadly, the comfort was brief, but it was still comfort, and Adi did feel a little bit bit better. When she was told to stay, she nodded obediently, sniffing. "Okay. I'll stay here and help. Just, um. Good luck?"
After watching them go, she sighed and headed towards the stage and the folks in charge. Z'fer was her wingleader, so maybe he could tell her how she could help! Or, failing that, she could just...hang around in the general area and hope for relative safety. They'd asked for well-trained firelizards, but she didn't have any of those - she had plenty of firelizards, sure, but 'well-trained' would never describe any of them.
I will stay in the air, Mine, Mazamath informed her. I will not go far from you.

Asoth relayed what Moriath had said to M'lan and the rider cursed, he'd left his beltknife at the weyr, thinking it was too much for a party. "Go with Moriath... listen to her and NO shaffing tricks" he said "I'll stay.... i'll find a chair leg or something" casting around for anything that could be a potential weapon. "Keep me informed on what's going on" he ordered Asoth.
Asoth grumbled at being ordered to not show off but he moved out of the ring of dragons and took to the air, catching up with the Crimson. "Mine stays behind, what is it you need of me Moriath"
the crimson sent an image of her current location, just on the edge of the jungle. She'd never seen one herself, but she had fought whers during the revolution; how different could a feline be? Anyway, they were just beasts and would bleed out as well as any animal with its throat cuffed out.

Asoth betweened to where Moriath had shown her, even with dragon eyes it might have been difficult to pinpoint her location flying straight, at night a crimson could look like a brown. Asoth couldn't remember it but he and M'lan had once seen one deep into the jungle, it had been sunning itself in a clearing. "If it bleeds we can kill it right?" he asked of Moriath "We cannot let them get to Our people, i will kill any, drop them Between if i have to" his tone angry as his eyes whirled with flashes of redorange and he flexed his clawed paws in readiness for a potential battle. Last time he had been unprepared, afraid but this time they would not hurt His.. he swore it.
Your group choice of A or B cannot be changed. C can choose to change groups. However, if you haven't picked a group choice, feel free to do so at any time - just make the entrance relate to the events of the ORP somehow.
GROUP A Crimson Moriath Brown Asoth
Your decision to go after the felines takes you into the jungle. Neither Moriath nor Asoth are particularly small and so your progress on land is difficult. Searching for shadows in the night is pointless from the air. Work together to track the Felines and their stolen goods into the forest.
Roll 2d6. Roll 0 Even numbers: Your path is very difficult, you get temporarily stuck. Roll 1 Even numbers: Your path is neither hard nor easy but neither is particularly fruitful. The scent is hard to track but leading well into the jungle. Roll 2 Even Numbers: The scent is easy to follow but it goes through close-growing terrain. You think you see a clearing a couple dragon-lengths in. Roll total of 10 or more: The scent of Felines is thick in the air, along with the blood of humans... and another dragon!?

Your group gathers and rushes off to the Weyr proper. People are busy trying to put out a fire that's engulfing three buildings, including a food stores. There are talonmarks and blood streaked across the ground, the broken body of a youth lies in a pool of his own blood to the side of the area as Weyrfolk huddle in fear and shock. Cinders drift on the wind, threatening to spread the fire further.
You have two tasks. Each character can focus only on 1 task at a time. 1) Put out the fires. 2) Investigate the news of a Tunnel Snake loose in Trine.
Putting out fires. Roll 2d6. The total is how much fire you help put out. If you roll matching numbers, the total is doubled. If you roll two 1s, you botch and increase the amount of fire by 5. Goal: Roll enough put-out-fire to extinguish the flames. Similar to fighting thread - look to the roll below this post to see how much Fire you need to beat.
Gathering Information Roll 1d20. Roll less then 10: the person is in shock and not informative. Roll 11-16: They report seeing glimpses of a monster like a Tunnel Snake and say that the commotion knocked over lamps, causing the fire. Roll 17-20: You've found an eye-witness. They've seen the Tunnel Snake directly, it seemed as confused and angry as the weyrfolk are. (17=it headed north, 18=it headed south, 19=it headed west, 20=it was spotted tearing into the buildings around here) You need at least 3 total (across all Group B characters) matching reports of direction to get a confirmation on the Snake's activity.

Having chosen to remain behind, you are safe but the party is in shambles and there's something cold and unwelcoming about the trampled decorations, the blood on the group, the spilled wine and food. Abigail shows no signs and breaking out of her fit and Brakiath seems distant as well, listening, perhaps, to the efforts of her dragons.
Kleos arrived by the burning buildings at a run. This... they had just rebuilt this! "We need water!" she shouted, choking a bit on the end of the last word thanks to the smoke. Thankfully somebody already fighting the flames waved her at a waterbutt, and a collection of buckets.
Grabbing one of the buckets for herself the scarred blonde scooped up water, dashed to the nearest burning building and sloshed the water over the flames.
Asoth landed and scented around, there was a thick musky scent and he assumed it was that of the felines, it seemed to trigger something in him, yes... Felines. He followed the scent until his nose bumped a solid mass and he looked up, dark foliage loomed so he took to the air again. He thought he could see a clearing, perhaps that was a good place to go to and find the creatures they were hunting. "Moriath, i think i have found a clearing, i am going to go and see what there is" he informed the Crimson and sending her the image of what he saw before making his way slowly, cautiously towards the area.
