The sun was low now and tiny lights began winking on in Death City as people lit up their homes and the street lights came on. "What do you think?" Miles asked, proud of his decision as Death City slowly began to shimmer in the glowing darkness like a diamond-studded diorama. ◥For My Lady's Sake◤

⋘≪The Raven of Blackwing≫⋙ ◥By My Lady's Leave◤ Miles returned Noira's smile. "Certainly, my pleasure," he replied sincerely. He listened to her quietly before speaking again. "I could say the same when I first got here," he told her. "My original living situation wasn't exactly ideal and after I joined Servi Bellum I spend most of my time in the desert. The stars were beautiful at night but I never saw a city lit up like this until I joined the DWMA." He shifted slightly. "So, I know how you feel right now." ◥For My Lady's Sake◤

⋘≪The Raven of Blackwing≫⋙ ◥By My Lady's Leave◤ Miles looked over at Noira in slight shock. "You...never touched grass as a kid...?" He asked despite himself. While they were talking, Scratch had taken the opportunity to hop a good distance away. Once he saw that Miles was distracted, he quickly healed his damaged wing with black blood before taking wing and disappearing into the night. He had other matters to attend to on his Lady's behalf. Miles Libertatis Miles listened to Noira quietly before shaking his head slowly. "It's amazing how great a person you've turned out to be despite all you've been through," he told her with a smile. He scootched a bit closer to her. "And um...I actually....think you're cute too..." he told her, his voice lowering slightly as he spoke as he kept his smile.

Miles Libertatis "What do you mean you're not all that great?" Miles asked, sounding genuinely surprised. "You started out as a slave, but within 18 years you're free and head of a powerful organization that I presume you've put together from scratch, you've mastered your black blood and can turn into a dragon. Most people couldn't accomplish all of those things if half of them were given to them at birth!" He nodded when she thanked him. "It's true," he told her. "You have a lot to be proud of."

Miles Libertatis Miles gave a nod as Noira seemed to cheer up a little. He looked back towards the view as well. "Yes," he agreed. "And look forward to more coming in the future," he assured her.

Miles Libertatis Miles looked up at the stars for a moment as he heard Noira's question. He stretched his arms out and fell backwards into the soft grass, looking straight up at the stars as he began to speak. "My future?" He asked rhetorically. "Well, getting the obvious stuff like becoming stronger and graduating from the DWMA out of the way, I suppose.....I suppose I would want a job where I could pass on what I know like a teacher or trainer. I'd like to fall in love and get married to a woman I love. We'd choose a like little place to live; it doesn't have to be anything special. We'd have fun together all the time. She'd be my princess and I'd be her knight in shining armor. I'd tell her I love her everyday and share everything with her. Eventually I'd like to have children. At least two but no more than 4. We'd raise them together and if they developed any kind of special powers I'd teach them how to use them. We'd give them everything I never had, and they'd grow up to be strong, capable adults that could begin families of their own," he told her, a faint smile on his face as he seemed to be imagining his future. He was quiet for a moment before he looked over at her again. "What about you?" He asked her. "What do you think your future will be like?"
