As if to prove his point, he started waving his arms, not realizing his was showing off some new bandages, one quite noticeable over one leg.

But there was no way Sherry could keep going. She was already at her limit, and he was really terrible at blocking, and if she kept attacking, she would get even MORE hurt and-

If Armagnac hadn't been raging in her head again (She was really not happy about being forced to defend.), Sherry might have freaked out.
That's it. Her world broke. This was some special kind of dream or something. That had to be it. She was dreaming.
"What?! Of course you can!" She stepped up to defend him. What in the name off all that was good was going on?
Oh, right. This was a terrible dream.

No no Sherry, you can't leave him alone, there's a scary creature here and some, some VOICE in his head and he was so confused and lost and NO DON'T LEAVE HIMMMMMMMMMMMM
He accidentally let go of one of the tonfas and it got lodged in the creature's eye, prompting a deafening screech.
Chester was very much ready to wake up too.
