The Races - DAY THREE - CONGRATS!

Falcon knew that he was picking up speed now and that the finish line was right there. Just a little more and then he would eat some yummy silflay and lots of rest. So he pushed his legs hard for the last little sprint to get across the line.

It occurs to me I'm an idiot and rolled 10 d10s. I will void my last five rolls and reroll with d6s if that's agreeable.

Yes! There was speed! Much more speed. He grinned as he ran, hoping for more speed. Hoping for a first place this time. He turned to race back up the hill. It was amazing he'd gone down with such speed without hurting himself. He grinned.

Well he was making progress. It was hard work and her already felt tired but he'd keep going. He had to finish this third race. He had to.

Faster! He was getting faster and going better. He laughed and dug in. He would finish in the top if he kept this up.

He got his foot caught and lost all momentum but growled and yanked his foot free. He just had to finish this race. He just had to!

And he was going again. Slower but up towards the finish line. He could see it now and he wanted it. Wanted it so bad. Win or lose at least he could say he'd participated in all the races.

And he finished, slow but he'd finished. He's had such a hard time climbing up the hill that he hadn't been paying attention to anyone else and had just focused on pushing himself up. He panted heavily and peered back down, amazed that he'd gone down and come back up that.
