Clove dug into the jar for one more token to trade to Sheridan. It had to climb completely into the jar to do so; the candy was mostly gone at this point.

Siddie noticed Clove vanishing into the jar, and once the drutten had climbed out, she moved to look in. "Oh, I'm just about out ... " She rummaged in the jar herself and laid five wrapped tokens on the table. Standing up, she called out, "I have a few tokens left! The first five people to bring me a minipet and tell me the mini's name and why it's named that get them~"

Enzo overheard 'Free tokens', and immediately swept into the booth. Oh, hell, they needed a minipet... a quick sprint back to his booth and back again, he dropped the torterror down in front of Siddie, grinning widely. "This is Grunt. He aint got a name beyond that cause I suck at namin' things, but it works for him and we're copacetic on that front on account of him not bein' able to argue the matter. Also cause he IS a grunt. Ahehehehe."

Grunt in question glowered up at the shadow-ghoul, straightened his hat indignantly and puffed at his cigar.



Enzo gave a nod of approval.

Rins Egg

Rin heard free and rushed over to present his unhatched egg, "It's an egg. I just got it with tokens... I call it egg because it is an egg." He looked hopeful that this would be enough.

"Oh, what a nice name! He really looks like a Grimm, too," Siddie told Gene, and handed her a token.

She giggled at Enzo's gruff explanation. "Please don't break my kneecaps, Grunt," she said to the torterror, and gave the token to him.

"Oh, Arthur was a gift? How sweet!" she told Yin, and handed the token over after taking a moment to ruffle Arthur's ears.

She giggled again at the zombie dog's explanation. "I'm sure they'll appreciate your care when they hatch," she assured him, and gave him a token.

"He seems to love you anyway," she said to Alex, smiling, and gave him the last token.

Then she clapped her hands and smiled at everyone there. "And the Minipet Appreciation booth is now closed - thanks for visiting! I hope maybe I'll see some of you at the club later," she said. Clove hopped onto its mistress's arm and scuttled up to her shoulder, taking its customary place there and chirping happily at the other minis. Its belly might have looked a little more full than usual.
