Bruce smiled, turning on netflix and starting the first episode. “god i must be cute all the time because I’m always such a geek.” he said happily, this was the most comfortable he had ever really been with another person. It made him rather ecstatic, and half of his excitement was probably because of the company and the rest of it was due to the show.

"That's a safe bet," the teenager said, stuffing another handful of popcorn into his mouth. He settled in, slumping half into the cushions and half into Bruce, eyes focusing on the screen. "We'll have to watch at my place sometime," he commented, "my dad has the biggest plasma tv, it's like..." he tried to extend his arms out to get his point across, but he couldn't reach big enough. "All the people on screen are basically life-size. You'd love it. And we could have DUM-E fetch us more popcorn."

“you built a robot?” he asked astounded, “honestly could you get any more perfect?” he said with a laugh, “i swear, you’re freaking amazing.” he gushed before settling down, “oh gosh its starting!” he said with a grin, he had allready seen this episode about…. 30 times but that didnt mean he didnt want to watch it again.

"Yeah, they offered Robotics class last year and I took it. Kinda went above and beyond the prompt but..." Tony trailed off, trying not to be a braggart. He silenced himself when the program began by shoving another fistful of popcorn in his mouth, watching the intro sequence raptly. It was going to be both hard to sit still and be quiet, those were two things Tony Stark just wasn't good at.

“its not so much the attractiveness, cause women are too squishy. Its just how freaking amazing she is.” he said with a grin, “and he doesnt have a degree in anything, unless you count awesomeness,” he said with a laugh, “just wait till we get to Amy, seriously the only woman i would ever marry and have children with. Not to mention her husband, i think im in love.” he said with a grin, god did he have such an obsessive fan crush on Rory Williams.

Tony laughed softly at his friend's crushing on celebrities. As they continued to watch, Tony continued to ask questions, like "Wait, is this doctor-guy an alien? He doesn't even look like an alien!" and "You're telling me that blue-box-thingy is a time-machine? Where're all the parts to make it work?"

Bruce glanced up at him a moment when he felt an arm go around his shoulder. He smiled at him before settling his head on tony’s shoulder and turning back to the show, “its not really cheating, you know, its his technology.” he said with a smile, “an you cant take her apart, thats horrible.” he said like tony had just smacked him.

"I'd put it back together!" Tony promised with a laugh. "It'd just be cool to know how alien technology works. Maybe try to replicate it, or something, I dunno." He smiled at the way Bruce had settled his head on his shoulder. He was ordinarily so affection-starved, and he couldn't think of a better way he could have spent his Friday morning.

“its a weird show, you’ll never be able to figure out what is going to happen next. Its fantastic.” he said with a smile, made happy by tony rubbing his head. It made him feel… accepted. Something he didnt often feel anymore.

"I'm getting that, and we're only three and a half episodes in!" Tony chuckled. It was odd, he didn't feel the propensity to wriggle and fidget quite as much as usual while being cuddled up with Bruce. He could lounge here all day and be quite happy.

“Uh sure” he said, grabbing the remote and settling himself on the other side of the couch opposite where he and tony had been sitting. he paused it, waiting for tony to leave the room before smooshing himself as far to the right of the couch as he could, trying to make himself very small. He didnt want to bother tony, which was what he figured he had been doing. he sat rigidly, placing a pillow between him and the now large empty space on the couch. at least that way his unconscious need to cuddle would be taken out on the pillow rather than his friend who probably didn’t want to be cuddled.

He couldn't explain his sudden moment of self-consciousness, usually he didn't worry about it... but usually he wasn't blushing either. Tony hurried off to the bathroom and locked the door after himself, spending a moment willing his cheeks to go back to their regular color. He used the toilet and checked his reflection to make sure he was good before coming back out. "Hey Bruce, do you have anything to drink besides water?" he asked, peeking over the back of the couch at the other teenager, asking for permission to raid his fridge. He saw the way Bruce was holding onto the pillow and tipped his head to the side with an "Aww, did'ya miss me?"

“he regenerates, next doctors better.” he said stiffly, “ready?” he asked pressing play before he got an answer, it would be much easier to pretend to be normal when he had a distraction, and doctor who was usually a good distraction.

"Regenerates? Are you serious? What so, he can't die?? That's crazy!" Tony shook his head in amazement. He hurried to set his drink on the coffee table and since there was a decent amount of space on the left side of the couch now from Bruce's repositioning, he laid across it, sprawling his legs over the arm and resting his head on the pillow that was against Bruce's side. While comfy, it wasn't perfect. "Hey, could you put your legs down?" he requested quietly, trying not to disrupt the show.

Bruce looked slightly petrified, trying to figure out where to keep his hands now that there was a head in his lap, rather than settling them somewhere comfortable, he just held them, in the air above tony, trying desperately not to touch him he really didn’t want to mess this all up. But tony was not being helpful, Bruce knew he was comfortable, jess told him all the time, but was it really nessacary to put his head in his lap? “uh,.. yes, but he’s not going to, still gonna be as stupid as ever. He’s the doctor.” he muttered trough pursed lips, trying to keep his eyes on the screen but not succeeding because, well frankly this was not the most interesting episode to have ever been recorded. yeah yeah, aliens trying to take over the world and then blow it to bits, been there done that.

Tony meanwhile was kind of getting into the action on-screen (after all, /he/ hadn't seen this episode, or really any of the episodes until now) and he really liked action. He noticed Bruce's hovering hands and laughed. "Still on about those cooties?" he asked, reaching up to bring the kid's right arm down across his collarbone.
