827 Lihua loved tea. Coffee wasn't really her thing. She didn't really think that brewing tea was all that important. All she knows is that you warm water then put a teabag in it. Can't be that hard. (+1 point) While she gotted the leaf part of the tea down she putted her finger in the tea to check the tempearture to find it was cold. A tea club? This looked like a safe booth, so Jason cautiously approached it, all the while looking like he might scream and faint if anyone came even one step closer to him...or her, as he looked at the moment.
Looking around, he was surprised to see they even had rice balls. Rice balls, in halloween? How did that even work? Did they even taste the same?
After a few bites of one, he had to say..they did.

...And now he was tasting spam. Jason was gob-smacked. He was tasting spam. In halloween. He had half expected to taste some form of snot or goo or something even more disgusting, but no, he was tasting spam. It even looked like spam.  He was back at the tea stall, mostly because it made him feel relaxed being here, in spite of being in an environment stuffed to the brim with Halloween creatures.
Tea was normal. But he also needed to figure out where the heck Fini was.
"Noir calling Blanc..." he muttered, starting on his tea - which actually turned out pretty good, and Noir was satisfied with how it tasted, even if it was a bit strong for him.

"The hell do you want?" 'Blanc' growled under....his breath, hands shoved in pockets while bright blue eyes scanned the different booths. An eyebrow rising here and there as something might have caught her attention.
She - ....he, ugh! - was not sure what she was doing. Except attempting to not freak out with the heightened senses and those goddamn tails! Emphasis on the 'tails'. Ooooh no, not just one. Or two. But six. Six goddamn tails!
Nose wrinkling, Fini found herself at a tea stand. It smelled...divine, actually.
Hmm...well it probably couldn't hurt...
Oh look, was that Gale...err, Noir!
But before that, Blanc decided to try her hand at this tea thing.
....annnd apparently she was not meant to be good at this. She coughed, sputtering a little, ears flattening as she burnt her tongue and just about had a leaf explosion. Yeah no, that was the end of that!
"....Noir what the eff? Really, tea brewing? Can't you find something more interesting?" She was totally just pouting because she failed.

Yin had made atrocious tea the day before, but this day he was going to do his best and make something drinkable. He made the opposite mistake this time, taking too few leaves. He was also overly cautious with his water, not letting it warm enough before trying to steep his tea. But he did manage to let the tea steep for the perfect amount of time before giving it to the pixie daeva. Wanting to taste the onigiri rice balls again, Jason sneaked back to the booth, hoping no one was around when he picked up one of the rice balls and took a bite. For a few moments he sat there chewing, before he made a face. This one felt like it was two different items mixed in together. One hot and the other sweet, he wasn't sure if he liked this flavor combination...

Hoping to get the odd taste out of his mouth, the moon hunter quickly picked up another riceball and sunk his sharpened teeth into it. He now took the time to marvel; at just how...sharp they were, especially the canines, which were larger then the other teeth. He also noticed the riceball tasted like seaweed.

Picking up a final rice ball tot ake on the road with him, the moon hunter realized this tasted like...fish. He just wasn't sure what kind of fish he was tasting, but at least it tasted nice.

He glowered at Blanc, but tried to look as though this were normal and they were the bestest of the best friends. Drinking the tea wasn't exactly recommended in a golem body - considering they had no digestive systems - but that didn't mean he couldn't taste it a little and at least smell it.
"This is interesting," Gale said stubbornly, now moving towards the onigiri table again. He would just take tiny nibbles of these without actually eating them. "Besides," he added in a low undertone that only she would hear. "I've already managed to win five prizes."
Aka he'd already managed to snag five minipet specimens for study at the labs. Gale reached out and poked Fini's side.

The first onigiri tasted relatively all right, all things considered, but at least he only had to take teeny little bites so small enough that it was hardly nibbled at.
He didn't want to think about not having a digestive system.

Just one more, and then he would be done and he could throw the uneaten parts of his onigiri away safely. He'd managed to slip them into a little plastic bag under the pretense of "eating them later," but when he managed to get away from the table, he'd toss them in the bins.

Blanc just grinned roguishly, tails weaving behind 'him'. They were the bestest of best friends after all, weren't they? Of course they were! Which was why Fini had no problems walking up behind Noir and leaning against him, arms crossed and plopped on top of his head.
Being taller had its advantages.
Fini sniffed, not sure if she wanted to try any of that food. That was food, wasn't it? Ugh, like hell she was eating and drinking anything else from here! "Like hell it is." She grumbled...and squeaked when her side was poked.
"Five? Someone's been having a little fun." She teased, looking about with lips pressed into a thin line. "Umm...maybe...."
And then she was padding away as she caught sight of the creature making...teacups? Fini tilted her head curiously, watching and blinking in surprise when it - he - dragged her behind the pottery wheel. She had no idea what she was doing, which became very apparent as the damn thing spun way too fast and water and clay was launched ******** that! The black kitsune darted away from there, coming up beside her friend. "Tea is so not my thing." She muttered.

Clearly Fini was some sort of...fox...creature...thing. Gale gave her a once over, which turned out to be slightly difficult since as soon as he turned away she had decided it would be all right to flop her arms down on top of his head.
Rude.
"I am not having fun," muttered Gale moodily. "I am observing."
Which was true. He was a Death Hunter, obviously; that was what he did. Inside of his head, information about the festival, the minipets, students he had talked to, were all being filed away in the compartments of his mind for later study.
"How are you..." he started to say, but trailed off as Fini was dragged away abruptly. He waited patiently while she...attempted...to make a teacup, and stifled a laugh on her return.

Oh look, was he getting all huffy and moody again? Fini just gave him a look, ears partially tilted back in a clear expression of 'Really'.
"Riiiiight. Just observing the food, I see."
She scowled at the creature-it-he-thing and just dared him to drag her back over there. No way was she going to lose any more of her dignity here! Stupid tea booth. And Gale was asking for it.
"Oh Noir," she allowed her voice to drop an octave (which amused the hell out of her), "You're such a flatterer."
And then she thwapped him with one of her tails. Then proceeded to drag him along with her.
