Danny stopped scratching Frost as fiercely as she heard the conversation taking place in front of her. The vine-covered one brought up the kissing horseman again. Oh ...

Oh.

A frown crossed her lips and she squeezed Frost a little, turning their friendly pets into a tight hug, her cheek resting on Frost's back. "Have you go over to that booth?" she asked, eyes flicked in the direction of Soren's booth. "The kissing one?"

Oersted entirely ignored the bug. It was a bug. He could be easily squashed. It was like the time with Moure at the dinner. He was simply a monster, simply an undead, simply a footstool.

"Need I remind you," Oersted hissed into Rikki's ear, grabbing the boil's neck with a single hand and squeezing- not enough to be painful, but enough to threaten to boil. Oersted meant business. "Of our last encounter?" His voice was calm, controlled- a polar opposite to his sister's toned enthuisiasm.

Hooded eyes curled into crescents as he released the boil's neck. "So I'll ask again, and I do hate repeating myself." A thin, practice frown creased his face. "Where is she?"

The alchemist's attention was caught by some loud music playing: of course, one has to expect some live gig in a music club booth! Intrigued, she came closer only to find sort of game: each visitor had an opportunity to test their music skills, and so Eisheth decided to play one of the few songs she knew. It would really help, though, if she had just a slightest clue on how to use the instruments provided. But she had not, and probably would do something wrong, and would regret it later, but luckily she was saved from public disgrace by a swarm of minipets suddenly attacking the instruments. Oh well, it wasn't possible to play anymore. Exiting the stage Eisheth took a sticker to remember her own stupidity:

It was only a matter of time before the booming songs attracted the bluejay’s attention once more. She found herself inevitably drawn by the catchy beats and simple melodies. Hands were laced behind her back this time so as not to drag her companions, who were probably miffed with her at the moment after the whole kissing booth thing. At least they hadn’t thrown her (yet). Once again, Jay stopped in front of the club booth and turned around to face Senga and Iyari. “Well? Want to have another go at it? We can switch the instruments around this time,” she suggested once she recalled Senga’s decent performance.

Reluctantly, she strolled past the microphone and decided to pick up the guitar. Jay curiously eyed the strings before shrugging the strap around her neck. The horseman played a few tentative notes before she broke out into more complicated chords. She was pretty good, but no one was watching.

Sigh.

Jay had stolen the guitar, which left only the microphone when they returned again.

Senga wasn't entirely certain of this booth. It had no immediate dangers to it - no kissing or fire or buckets of water to throw. His eyes flickered from the drums to the microphone, and sighing, he inched his way over to the dreaded latter, his fingers tapping uncertainly against the machine. "Do I really have to - " He started to ask Jay and Iyari, but by then, the song was starting up, and he didn't really have a choice. Walking away, of course, was out of the question - Senga might have been hesitant, but he sure as hell didn't quit.

Following Jay's lead from their first play-through, Senga sung a few notes so quietly that he wasn't sure that the machine picked them up before growling and raising his voice, because seriously, he wasn't going to lose to his sister or Jay this time around. And somehow, he didn't. Singing wasn't exactly a passion of his, but he'd done it a few times - and no, not in the shower! - and he couldn't exactly call himself terrible. Forgoing hesitation, he continued through the song, wincing a bit at the accompaniment both of the girls gave him. When it finished, he leaned back and fluffed his wings in pleasure at the score.

"Hmm." He paused, glancing down at the microphone in his hands, "I think I like this one better than the drums. Speaking of which," He glanced over at Iyari, "they aren't so easy now, are they?"

This had been fun the last time and Iyari had even grown accustomed to the blaring music. One of the few times she had ever picked up an instrument and it had gone well had been her previous encounter. Perhaps lightning struck twice in the same spot?

That remained to be told, but it was not an encore of her previous

Bang. Rattle. CLANG.

The drumsticks felt foreign in her hands and it was a clumsy state of affairs all around, but she battled through it. It was a ferocious attack on the large instruments and she closed her eyes to beat onto them. From her end it all sounded loud - loud was good, yes?

It was only until the end of the song she had opened her eyes to the lack of applause by, well, by anyone. No one seemed to take notice of her playing. "Hmph." She let the drumsticks fall onto the drums, staring back at her companions with a shrug.

"Nice voice, Senga. Perhaps you should change jobs." She teased, sitting back on the stool. At least one of them had been noticed. There was a brief pause before taking a sticker from the booth.

There was always next time.

Jay nearly stopped strumming the guitar when she heard Senga’s voice over the music. She fumbled for a second, but quickly gathered her bearings together to continue playing until the song finished. While Iyari teased Senga for his excellent job, Jay stared at the wolf horseman with a set of wide eyes and slightly-parted lips. He was good. Much better than he gave himself credit for. She opened her mouth wider to try to say something, but there was only further silence from the bluejay. She closed her mouth and carefully set the instrument down. Something landed on her head. Frowning, Jay caught it and slid it away for safekeeping before she picked up another set of CDs.

Her concentration seemed better than her last attempt, considering how two of them went in quite solidly. She scrunched up her face as she scrutinized the middle disc, which had missed its target completely.

Senga picked the CD's up next, folding them over in his hands with dubious intent. This was the only other game he seemed terrible at - though his irritation was lessened by the fact that Iyari seemed just as bad at it as him. He flicked his eyes up to the targets and reeled his arm in to toss the first one -

And then Jay started staring at him like his head was on fire.

"What?" Senga asked, completely forgetting that he was about to loose a CD into the air. The first target was missed completely; instead it went straight into Iyari's face. Senga didn't pay attention though; he was too busy frowning at Jay's sudden loss of words. "What? Did I lose an arm or something?"

The other two CD's went just as wayward, and he turned to stare at her fully, pushing her cheeks dubiously with his fingers and closing her mouth for her. "Wake up." He snapped, the blank stare finally beginning to unnerve him.

She'd done decently on the drums, but she had yet to master the CD toss. Watching Jay she looked at the discs. "Something on your mind, Jay?" She said quietly before tossing her own.

Success! Well, better success.

Iyari had finally managed to get more than one and she grinned. "Seems I'm getting a little better." She said, staring at the one disc who had still refused to find it's target.

Maybe if she channeled enough anger it would feel fit to behave next time.

That was doubtful though.

Grabbing hold of a random ticket she placed it into a pouch. Maybe if she got up the want she'd use it for its intended purpose.

Freya was ready to RING THOSE MICS. She picked up some CDs and flung them wildly at the microphones like frisbees. Oddly enough, this proved fruitful, and two CDs twirled around the microphones expertly.

But oh, oh no. She wasn't done just yet. Freya had the eye of the tiger tonight, and she was playing games until they kicked her out of booths! She picked up another set of CDs, kissed them for luck, and sent them flying. This time, when she scored one, she decided it was about time to collect herself a prize. So she snagged two tickets to a Johnny Danger concert, which she wouldn't even need to use - she had tickets to all of his concerts. But now.. now she had a set to frame.

And last but not least, Freya picked up the microphone attached to Rock Band, and turned on the game. She tried something new this time - she picked 'random song'. She only knew a small selection of the songs available.. so when the song came up, she instantly knew she wasn't going to own it.

But it was still fun as hell to try!

After working hard to prepare her own booth, and visiting the others Eisheth was a bit tired. And to be exactly honest, she was hungry. It was a usual state for a Famine clansman, but when she noticed a big table full of various food, the temptation was too hard to resist; unfortunately, it turned to be not a free food for everyone, but some sort of game. Silly Halloweeners suggested to eat for speed: the fastest eater should win the prize. The alchemist grinned: it sounded really weird for her, given in mind her background. Like anyone can challenge a Famine's in eating! Queen, her kin is always hungry.

Fortunately, she noticed a familiar silhouette of a certain Death priestess here, and she suddenly saw an opportunity: it was clear and obvious.

"Evening, priestess! Feeling hungry? I bet two silver seeds I would be able to finish the dishes faster than you!". If her estimation was correct Heidla wouldn't be able to reject the challenge.

Hungry? Hunger was something she was always responsive to, so she made a small smile. "Well....."

Was she supposed to say yes? She always felt it as a match going on between her educated self that urged her to act cool and distant, and her interior curiosity. Besides, did it really matter - acting cool to another horsewoman. So her mouth creaked and her smile broadened: "Actually, why not?"

Besides, wasn't the famine actually challenging her? It would be a nuisance to lose!
