...When did the Gryphon show up?! The Sage didn't notice him until he started clapping, effectively drawing his attention.
"Why thank you, young one!" Sal keened happily, taking the tokens and sliding them somewhere into his soaking wet, sugar-sprinkled robes. Little games like this one was making him less miserable over the whole my-robes-are-sticking-to-me thing, which was great because he was kind of very lost when it came to finding that booth he was at earlier; the one with the clothes.
"I have never played before! Are there other sorts of games like this one around?"

Apparently race for the finish meant go super super slow. In her excitement Mei smacked her little racer kart into a wall.  Making his way over to another game booth, Aedan was pleased to note that it was a Scario Kart booth! (the school had a club for that?! Very cool!) He'd never played it before, but he'd heard it was pretty good! Looking through the possible players, he ended up going with Sparkly Sam--surely he was sparkling for a reason, right?

Taking a few seconds to get his kart going the right direction after the shell sent it spinning out of control, Aedan was finding it harder than he might have expected--how was it so hard to steer the darn thing?!

As she relaxed, Ren had approached her and no less congratulated her, even going so far as calling her a champion. "You think so?" Poke replied, face heating up at the praise. It wasn't every day someone thought so highly of her video game skills. "It's nice to meet you Ren" She then replied. "The names Poke, and you're more then welcome! The game was tons of fun" She nodded to herself.
