"Izanami, leave...", Khairan ordered. Izanami sighs and nods, the disappears. Khairan knew Airisa asked, Khairan let out a sigh and replied in Izanami's state. "She's my Zanpakuto...", Khairan replied, still having a hard time to catch his breathe. Seeing Date helping the Shinigami, Khairan would feel rather weird. Khairan struggles to stand up, then moves to Airisa slowly. He asked while he watches, "Airisa... Why is Date helping us?", Khairan asked in confusion, he didn't understand why and how since he was fighting the Tres Espada.

Caleb continued to watch the encounter from the darkness, and while he couldn't attack from his position, no damage could be done to him. Soon he would have to emurge though, especially since Bloodlust was so obviously drained from fighting already.

As everything around him began to escalate, Aiken found a way to distance himself away from everyone. He was still in sight but kept wary of his surroundings. The area was still full of shinigami and anyone could launch a surprise attack. Aiken was not in any situation to fight back either so he would be content to sitting this one out. Besides, with the powers at battle now Aiken was sure he wanted no part in it.
Having time to himself, everything that had happened began to run over in his mind. There was still no sign of the relic appearing and such a fact exhausted the Tres Espada even more. His enemies had also surpised him. Their strength was formidable and Aiken would acknowledge that but he refused to believe them to be anymore than worm. "Strong, capable worms...but worms nonetheless." He relaxed a bit in place and watched Masamune and Alter go at it.
SpacerJust before his 'hand' hit Alter, Masamune withdrew, sonidoing back to where he had started. As he did so he witnessed what would've happened if he had hit Alter. He had left an electrical surge to attack Alter instead, though it probably wouldn't do much damage. The moment it had hit Alter, the Espada King's body exploded, though Masamune wasn't surprised by this. Masamune made sure nothing touched him or even came near him. "I hope this is the last time I have to repeat it," he sighed when Alter, the real one, reappeared while he himself returned to his usual form, "Do you know what it takes to be a King?" There was a hint of seriousness in his voice, Alter's next words, or lack of words rather could result in something quite devastating, not even something the Heavens could stop easily let alone the Espada King, 'his' Espadas and that ominous reiatsu in the horizon. Spacer SpacerAirisa greeted Kazuma with a smile when he came over, and replied in her usual tone, exposing nothing yet hiding nothing. "Since you're both wondering," she started as she placed a gentle hand on Khairan's shoulder to start healing him slowly, "I think you guys are misinterpreting the situation a little, he's not helping us, he's helping himself." Sneaking a peak at the battle before she continued hoping to explain things in a detailed but efficient manner, dropping off some little things in the process, "Masa's always been the type of guy who's only mildly hot-blooded, but extremely when he gets fired up. He was probably just trying to reserve some energy to obtain the relic with." True but not the truth. "If you're referring to Mr. Espada King over there, he's just a tyrant with a twisted sense of justice. The type Masa just happens to dislike. You never know what one can do when they're fired up," she winked. She hadn't noticed the poison in Masa so she assumed his blood had negated its effects quicker than they should've disappeared.
SpacerTaking a momentary pause before moving on Airisa said, this time not looking at either of them, instead towards Masamune and Alter's battle. "It's not enemies, Kazuma, it's rivals," she pointed out, "They're very different things." For them at least. "But we were once true enemies, when the lord I served was an opponent of Masamune." Airisa clearly wanted to whirlwind through their history, conveniently leaving out details that may seem minor. But it seemed like she had to say what she was going to say next, "It only took several hours for Masa to find me when he heard I was, let's just say a strong enough opponent during those times. Since then we've been fighting every time we see each other." It was true, every time, it was mostly physically but occasionally verbally as well. "Let's just say neither of us has ever won against the other so we're constantly trying to come up with a result." Of course as Shinigami captains the two should both know that it was just stupidity to forfeit a match with a worthy opponent. Spacer

Alter had shifted his attention back at Masamune's direction, his face still hidden. "You will never be ready for that. It takes a lot of sacrifices you will never be able to." Alter stated the truth. He had remembered sacrificing so much just to preserve the peace, Alter remembered when Masamune and Konoe had joined, how there so much violence after. Finally not taking it anymore, Alter had decided to force them away, seeing them a threat to his Kingdom.
Alter had hoped to peacefully resolve it by having the other espada treat Masamune and Konoe hostile in hopes they would of left but Alter was wrong. "I had hope to peacefully resolve this by having you and that filth treated horribly in hope that both of you would leave. Ever since you came to my home, you and that thing have done nothing but bring about chaos into our home. You filthy traitors and shinigamis have caused these relics to appear, a child even haves a relic with no knowledge of it. And now my espadas are desperately trying to retrieve something that is your own sides waste." Alter bashed, he had a hint of aggravation, but still spoke in a soft and calm voice.
Alter had no knowledge of how the relics came to be but he noticed it happened after the prime and diez joined, thus he assumed it was their fault or the people they worked for which easily aggravated Alter since hes espadas were getting hurt trying to retrieve the item like a drug. The blood that were hanging in air started sprouting thorn like appendages before circling the blood from the blood spawn, it got quicker as he gained more blood before going back to Alter. It was time, it was ready, as a huge amount of reiatsu was very far away. Alter had used dimension step to instantly get over there, having swapped himself with a molted rock. He was in a battlefield, far away, the rocks were already weathered and a large area had little lava. Even with lightning speed, it would take about a minute to get here, since Dimension step swaps at infinite speeds or even instantly, it was quick. The lava around was oddly slower than normal, something that might hint at Alter plan. (( Dimension step [5/5] )) Spacer Spacer Spacer

As Kazuma's smile returned to it's normal grin, his facial appearance seemed to carry a disappointed expression, "that's disappointing" spoke Kazuma, "you see, I don't care about such a rivalry, and I hint that there's more to your story then you're letting on but that doesn't interest me. What I want to know is why, someone like Masamune hesitated when you appeared but he's gladly fighting on par with the person you call the "Espada King" over there, all the while being lethally poisoned, somethings not adding up" spoke Kazuma as he noticed the Espada King person say something about about how Masamune, some other person and the shinigami were responsible for the relics to appear, and there it was again, Masamune, his name was coming up quite frequently "so let me ask you, Airisa, you, who have a connection with Masamune, is he related to these relics and if so how" Kazuma continued his tone wasn't demanding or even aggressive, just too cryptic.
"At the moment, this Espada king, is picking at some rookie mistakes that seem to be of some relevance. So tell me now, is there anything you know that is relevant to what this Espada King is stating, if not, all it would take is just a look at Heuco Mundo achieves in the library, for if Masamune was evolved with these relics it would be a matter even the Captain Commander couldn't ignore, and I don't think you fan-fiction rivalry would continue for much longer especially if every shinigami would be after him, with or without you. So speak if you do, no one here will say anything to anyone if anything you say is relevant" spoke Kazuma as he barely opened both his eyes, glaring at Airisa, awaiting her reply.

Khiaran was getting better as Airisa started to heal him, though it was not Rei herself. Khairan sighs, then said. "Thanks...", Khairan thanked her, he really needed that. Still having himself to be on the ground, Khairan let out a sigh as he watches. "I guess this is not our battle anymore...", Khairan commented as he watches the epic battle to unfold.
SpacerMasamune was actually surprised at Alter's response, he never thought this tyrant would be a power-hungry simpleton. "Ah, no, I never asked for your throne," he sighed, "Besides I don't believe you truly understand the meaning of sacrifice anyways." It was things like this that annoyed him, who was Alter to know of sacrifice, a tyrant like him wouldn't even come close to understanding it. Obviously another twist had been put onto the meaning of sacrifice. "I don't mind you calling me names but if you're referring to Sonoka then you're no better than a kid," Masamune stated, clearly he held some kind of respect for women in general, which on the outside was the reason for helping Airisa. Alter sounded as if he almost knew what the Relics were, strange, seeing as how no-one had ever even seen nor heard of them til a few days ago, "Indeed I hold no knowledge of them, I truly doubt you hold any either." SpacerAlter was standing to fray Masamune's nerves, the twisted logic and lack of respect for others was not the attributes of a king. Watching as Alter disappeared, Masamune didn't move an inch. He didn't want to fight Alter at all, especially when he could just be taking a break from all of this. Even if it was the Relic he didn't care. The shinigamis would probably be more enthusiastic about it, but Alter was still in Masamune's 'sight'. SpacerMeanwhile Airisa was just about to explode in laughter at Kazuma's comments. "So I see you believe Arrancars more than me," she smiled, hiding her laughter while her tone was still unchanged, "What makes you think he hesitated for me? Besides, I'm not the right one to ask about these things, I'm not Masa. Ask him yourself." Masamune seemed to be relaxing where Alter had left him, but it didn't seem to bother him at all. In fact he seemed quite pleased about it. Before Kazuma could even reply she added, "Just so you know, I doubt anyone knows about these Relics and if they did, well let's just say they wouldn't be standing around right now." Airisa simply didn't care about Kazuma's seeming threat, it meant nothing to her, she wasn't the type to care. Evolve through the Relics? Wasn't Kazuma notified of their known powers at all, or did he actually hiding what he knew about them? Evolving things wasn't in her memo at least. Spacer

"Oh, and he clearly hesitated ,unless now-a-days we just let strong people with high reiatsu just come behind us and have a little conversation, I mean when I was at his back, though I was attempting a sneak attack, he wasted no time moving" continued Kazuma as he shrugged his shoulders, "well I guess it doesn't matter, I was hoping that an "Eternal Rival" would know something about her rival, especially if that would lead to less time being wasted on repeating questions but oh well, you said you know nothing" Kazuma finished as he turned towards the fight.
"And there is someone or something that knows all about these relics and we would never know if it truly existed nor would it tell us, if you catch my drift" Kazuma spoke as he looked at the Masamune before thinking to himself, "how long can a person fight off a lethal does of poison from my zonpaku-to."

SpacerAirisa sighed, it's nice to be inquisitive but it's not nice to dissipate her own air of mysteriousness to someone she only holds respect for not trust. Airisa hadn't been interested in them to begin with, only wanting to view them and catch an analysis. Kazuma seemed to be looking towards Masamune quite a bit, and he had mentioned something about poison before, that she could explain. ~*[OOC: Sorry I'm only around for 5 min in the mornings but seriously, why do people pick at all my lack of detail and positioning? I'm not an elite RPer or anything like some of you. I thought you guys were in front of Masamune (During your fight) all this time sweatdrop. But it's not weird at all in this case, nor in some other cases, it's psychologically likely. Besides they did have an exchange D< Also Airisa normally has the reiatsu of a 3rd seat, it's not huge, in fact within you guys releasing and stuff it would've been miniature, you guys just decided that when Masamune sensed it, it felt like the Relic =w=;
Also can you not use that gif, as awesome as it is, the '********' is unneeded right now.
Alter had not entirely expected the other to go after him. Alter was the type of person to twist things into his advantage, the time that the other was gone, Alter would begin to fasten the pace of his plan and prepare with traps and such, adding more "spunk" or "power", to the point of literally having the area filled with enough reiatsu that will make a Quincy blush. After all was said and done, all Alter needed now was anybody stupid enough to come over unprepared and fall for the traps. The ground around the area were filled with sticky substance of blood in a circle, the sky around the battlefield had thorn-like barrier of blood, that is meant to cause a sticky blood, the air between had small amounts of spikes that had electrical properties, for the sole purpose of slowing Masamune down if he were to simply burst in with his lightning. The grounds were filled with a large pool of blood, and the area around Alter had dozens of blood tendrils that will attack anything near it.
Of course Alter knew someone like Voltaire, Masamune, and Ichimaru, would not fall for most of these, but these traps were distractions for the biggest main one. Alter was sitting on a rock with higher terrain than the other areas, he had walked up to it and pulled out his blade that was stabbed into the ground. All he needed now, like stated before, was a idiot who would waltz up to Alter without thinking of a plan or taking precaution. With Masamune's 'sight' he would be able to see a large amount of reiatsu in the ground beneath, however the reiatsu beneath is oddly unable to be absorbed or consumed. The story he haves is a recycled one for my hundreds of other OC's, Alter's original story involved him being the Son of Melanthius, the greek king. I really dislike his other story despite the fact it fits well, I will try to merge them somehow. ; Also midnight, there is the biggest trap and it might be OP, I plan to make Alters new strong move replace one of the other 10 pl skills, I will add it to my profile and you can tell me if it is alright.
