Rather than fighting anything that seems to get in her way (much like some of her siblings seem to do with bugs and the like), she prefers to walk up and check to see if it happens to be dangerous. If not, expect a very lovable lion to be snuggling up to you (or in this case a bug that just can't seem to figure out what's going on!). She doesn't seem to mind if you happen to be something that's gross or repulsing, and instead believes that all living things deserve some kind of love. After all, they have feelings too! The only creature she tends not to go up and snuggle with happen to be dogs. Go figure! ❞
xxxxx❝ There are rare moments that Penda seems to find herself not so affectionate. She does have a temper, and though it usually only comes out on very rare occasions, it shows just how feral she can be. After all, she is a lion. And lions are ferocious; especially the females. When angered, her fur usually stands on end at the nape of her neck, and she acts very much like a lioness protecting her cubs (even though she doesn't have any). She's been known to lash out easily, and not take any precaution against it. So if you ever do happen to see this lovely lady angry, you may want to run; fast. ❞
xxxxx❝ But, that's a rare occurrence. Penda's usually just very happy-go-lucky, and loving. She's willing to listen to anyone talk, even if it means leaving her own major issues out of the picture. She never really worries about herself, wanting nothing more than to help those around her. It's just a matter of gaining her trust before getting her to be able to fully open up to other people. Maybe it's a Pride thing, but she usually doesn't trust anyone outside it (except for Banshee; a female she has known since she was a bowl). ❞ ►► Likes: xxxxx❝ The Pride Lands || Sunlight || Banshee || Bright Colors || Being Happy ❞ ►► Dislikes: xxxxx❝ Rain (usually) || Scary Stories || Being Alone || Vegetables || Dogs ❞  ►► Biography: xxxxx❝ Penda is the youngest daughter of Simba and Nala. She is a princess of the Pride Lands, and a lovely girl. Born with cracks along her bowl, her parents were confused at what was wrong with her, yet she seemed perfectly fine. She was raised in the Pride Lands, learning from her mother and grandmother on the ways of a lioness. During her time as a bowl, she met another bowl who went by the name of Banshee. During this time, she swore she would become best friends with the other bowl, and go on adventures when both their fathers calmed down and weren't so paranoid about them leaving their sights. ❞
xxxxx❝ As a young cub, Penda became more and more affectionate. She found herself nuzzling up to her family and friend quite often, even if it meant getting an odd look. There was a slight incident though, which still scares her parents half to death. One day, she went out to explore the Pride Lands, curious as to what could possibly be out there. During this time, she was quite at ease. It isn't know what happened, but she came back with gashes covering her body, blood flowing from the wounds. Her parents were scared to death about what happened, but they handled the situation as best as possible. She started to heal, but now her lioness coat is covered in scars, and she refuses to tell anyone what happened to her that day. ❞
xxxxx❝ As Penda started to mature as a young cub, she ran into her friend again, Banshee. She learned a little bit about her family. And when Banshee showed concern about the scars that now littered her body, Penda could do nothing more but comfort her friend and say that it was nothing; no big deal. After that, she continued to learn to hunt and pounce, to survive as a lion, and spend as much time with Banshee as she could. Could it be her little heart was starting to follow the purple kit more and more? ❞
xxxxx❝ Now fully grown to a lioness, Penda is a strong, confident female. Though she still has her skittish moments, due to the horrific nature of what happened to her as a cub, she is rather happy. She enjoys helping others, and doing what she can to help the pride. As time progressed, she ended up falling in love with Banshee, but wasn't sure how to tell her that. Instead, she kept quite, and played, had a good time. She loved being around the other female, even though there were times where she was heartbroken that she couldn't call Banshee her own. ❞
xxxxx❝ There was a point were her grandfather, Mufasa, sent her out in search of herself. She was gone for several months, exploring the wild and figuring things out that she didn't know about herself. She fought off other creatures, some bigger, some smaller. She survived on her own. But she missed the purple female she had fallen in love with. After finding out more and more about herself, she went home, and happily found a waiting Banshee for her.
