His eyes alighted upon a particular familiar face, the senshi immediately recognizing her. "Perseus." Zephyr spoke quietly, his gaze meeting hers. He hadn't seen her for a long time either.. she was a welcome sight in this meeting. She was an eternal now, was she? He grinned at her in recognition of her abilities and rank. "Congratulations."
Another voice called out to him, Zephyr turning over his shoulder. "Flora." he welcomed with a half smirk. "What a productive meeting." He murmured quietly so that only Flora would be privy to his words. Although they seemed to be making a bit more headway -- they were still fighting over the same issues. It had just grown more complicated with the addition of new players, new powers, and new enemies. How tedious. Their prospects weren't very appealing at the moment. The senshi didn't envy those at the center of it. Not at all.
"Busy. I'm sure you have been as well?" It was his way of asking how Flora's life had been since he had last seen her. But a leisurely look at her prompted a few conclusions in his mind. "Do you have some news that you'd like to tell me?" A perfectly innocuous smile was on his lips.. aside from the fact that he had cornered the young handmaiden and his gloved hand was slipping familiar down her back to stop at her eternal wings. "You look a bit different, don't you?" In regards to their past lives, Zephyr hadn't had much time to think upon it. Not including the duties of his job, he was normally cavalier about these sorts of things anyways.

"Always." She agreed, expressing her disdain of the proceedings with only a simple arch of an eyebrow. Why was she even here after her few months of absence from the Senshi community? Perhaps the same reason as he was, just to be kept in the loop lest something happened. And of course, a part of her knew that the Princess would most definitely show up, and they had to keep her under surveillance.
Even though she had been doing an utterly terrible job of her duties lately.
"Well, yeah, with classes and... hey!" A small yelp of protest burst from her lips, though Flora was careful to keep it down. The Spring Handmaiden didn't exactly want to draw any attention to themselves and the well... strange position Zephyr had put themselves in. "Don't you think you're acting far too familiar?" She protested, a flush of apprehension crossing her cheeks. Of course she knew what he was hinting at, and of course she knew that he was doing this entirely on purpose. Typical Zephyr, who annoyed her so, and yet they still managed to remain friends... of some sort.
"Look, fine, you're amazingly perceptive, alright?" She sighed. "I got upgraded to Eternal. Whoop dee doo. Are you going to celebrate this momentous occasion for me?" It was entirely sarcastic, of course; it had been months since she turned Eternal.
And for shame, she hadn't even tried out her Eternal power. Yet.

He smiled amusedly, seeing Flora's discomfort. He knew exactly what he was doing. Why wouldn't he? When she finally confessed, he released her and withdrew his hand. It had been pleasant while it lasted.
"Exactly." His suspicions confirmed, Zephyr turned away to sigh, his forefinger and middle finger touching his forehead. "Really, you should have told me as soon as you upgraded." After all, they were such close friends. He had a cell phone. They were also in a modern day where you could easily toss an email in their direction. He had to admit that to see Gunn and Flora progress so far while he remained in the same stage.. well, he didn't want to waste his time with idle thoughts like that.
For a moment, he looked contemplating, but the next moment revealed an entirely different emotion. "Congratulations." But why was this greeting so much more sarcastic than the one that he had given Perseus? "I'll treat you out on a date if that's what you want now that I'm back." But other than that.. for all the fuss that he had made.. no, he just wanted to make her admit it. After all the effort that she was going through to hide it, Zephyr just felt this urge to bring it into the open. No, he couldn't help the type of person he was. "Or would you like something else?" He was up for that as well.

"Oh, come on." Flora scoffed, shoulders relaxing as he finally got his hands off her. "No one knew, except the guardian cats that upgraded me." Yes, cats, as in plural, and she didn't think it was necessary to mention that they had been fighting over it, "and I think Zue probably told the Princess. So that's three. Four now, including you. You should be honored." Even Lucy didn't know, and she hadn't bothered him or he might launch into a lecture of how dangerous it was getting or how short her skirt was, or something along those lines.
And if he did, she would probably adamantly declare that it wasn't short and point out that her boots were really pretty and win that argument completely. But a part of her hadn't wanted to remind him of that whole life, since he didn't seem to hold much interest in it, nor did she want him to get hurt.
Even Rea didn't know.
"Thanks." She said quietly, partly lost in thought of what the others would say when they found out. The Dream Team, the Seasons, those she thought of as friends but as time passed, the contact between them had grown rusty. "Well, I'm not going to say no if you're treating." The blonde managed to chirp out as brightly as she could, pushing those morose thoughts aside.
Or would you like something else?
The Senshi of Spring shot him a suspicious glance at his choice of words. He was messing with her, wasn't he? Again. "Depends on what you mean by something else." She replied in a measured tone.

(( Pretend Kalli was in the back just listening and generally being a creeper! ))
Eternal Sailor Kallichore had slipped in at the last moment, having been far away patrolling when she found out about a massive meeting. She had a thing for meetings but decided to leave the pen and paper at home this time. Rocketing away from her patrol position, she carried herself to the group as quick as she could and stood in the back, gazing at Polaris with serious eyes. She was always one for bloodshed and doing whatever was necessary, but as time went on, she found senshi like Polaris and Ganymede may have been more correct than she had wanted to admit.
The discussion of Ares made her bow her head.
Quietly, Kallichore had been listening to bits and pieces of the conversation, taking in everything she could. It was fragmented, but part of her found peace in knowing the senshi may finally have some kind of unified front. Talking about it was the first step in the right direction. She wandered over to where Tsui, Ganymede and Valhalla were, noting some other familiar faces.
"There are so many people here... I had no idea we had so many on our side." she observed quietly.

Ganymede was not entirely sure how he felt about being kissed on the forehead in a room full of judgmental people. He certainly didn’t mind many displays of affection, but when it seemed more quelling or childishly affectionate it made him feel as if he was being petted and coddled for all the wrong reasons. He didn't bother to mention it, just eyed Val and let it go without comment.
“You can’t even blame the Negaverse entirely for what happened at the Surrounding,” Ganymede said, looking between both Valhalla and Tsui. He kept his voice lowered so that certain persons wouldn’t be able to overhear. “They were working with the DMC at the time, as far as I could see, and we knew the dark mirror senshi were getting in through the mirrors, yet certain people,” and here he glared around as much of the room as he could see over Valhalla’s shoulder before returning his attention back to his companions, “refused to break them even though a few of us and a civilian or two pushed for it.”
That anger would probably never leave him, not when he felt for sure that he’d been right.
“If we’d done what a few of us wanted, maybe they never would have even gotten into the Surrounding in the first place, but instead we transported all the mirrors we could find to a different location, because letting them come across random civilians on Earth while we were busy elsewhere was clearly so much better," he said sarcastically with yet another roll of his eyes. "So all of those deaths can’t be placed entirely at the Negaverse’s feet. I blame some of us, too. One or two more than others. Maybe some of them can get over it because the civilians who were there somehow came back to life, but they shouldn’t have even had to have died in the first place. That’s what I don’t like, that these people feel more of an attachment to their past and the worthless objects that represent it instead of focusing on the present and the future. It’s always ‘past-this’ and ‘past-that’ with them, like we’re living there again when we’re not and we never will. The only thing I care about learning from the past is what happened to cause all this. In the end, it doesn’t matter who we are—Senshi, Negaverse, Dark Mirror—there are still people beneath that, and I don’t know about you but I don’t really fancy myself a murderer so, yeah, I’m going to keep trying diplomacy no matter what these dumbasses think. As for purification, if that’s what these people want to do,” he jabbed his thumb more toward the front of the room, “why haven’t they gone and done it already? If a prince or a princess is really powerful enough to do that, why not end it now, right?”
Since they hadn’t, he could therefore only assume that they couldn’t, that most of them were just full of a bunch of hot air but couldn’t really do much more than the rest of them when it really came down to it. If that was the case, he thought their power was pretty worthless. He’d rather figure out some other way to solve everything rather than relying on someone who claimed to have power and then never used it to benefit their side of the war until it was too late.
And even then, if they were going to go about it in what he thought was the wrong way… he didn’t want any part of it.
He paused after he'd finished speaking, turning his head to glance over at Kallichore. "There's probably even more than this," he said. "I always figured there had to be a lot more than I knew about, given how many I've seen in a few of the larger battles. Couldn't tell you half of their names, though."
Nor did he particularly care, to be honest.
(QQ And this may be all I manage for today, so I will once again leave it to Guine to puppet Gany and/or reply with Val to Kalli and Tsui on any of these topics. Love for everyone~! <3)

It was probably a good thing that Seal's Eye had not mentioned that she needed only himself, the other two Elysion guardians, and the Dream Priestess because he would have been readily contradicted. Allie needed her adoptive father who just happened to be a somewhat-omnipotent being, she decidedly needed what she regarded as her senshi led by Juno, she needed the reassurance and presence of Cosmos and Chronos to keep her on the right path, and she needed even Oliver Greene who knew she was different but kept her secret faithfully. "I adore the cranky kitty, I adore you, and I adore Quail. But if you wanted to stop by and visit when you know Suki is going to be there it would make his little kitty tail go all fluffy with annoyance. You know how he is." Even now Chibi was gleefully laughing at the idea of the grumpy transfer student who had a bigger heart than he let on; he couldn't hide it from them. They knew better. It probably would be taken wrong by everyone in the room but for Allie, who was very lonely and needed the physical reassurances that someone cared, that someone understood, Seal's actions were absolutely perfect to her. Ruby eyes welled a bit moist but the tears didn't fall because if there was one thing a princess did not ever do it was cry in front of everyone. Wrapping one arm around his tall neck, the pink princess groped behind her for Juno, intending to pull her into a big group hug. Chronos chose that perfect moment to come over and add her reassurances as well, all but getting dragged into the hug as well momentarily before the moon princess released them all after that briefly awkward, but perfectly heartfelt moment. "You are very good to me, I don't deserve you guys. Thank you." It was quietly said and as she stood, hand held in Seal's Eye's she stood just a little bit taller than she had before.

It was getting awfully crowded over in this little section of the room. On one side of Chibimoon there was the grump group that was chatting amongst themselves. She could hear some bits and pieces of what they spoke of here and now depending on how loud or quiet they got. And the few words about Ares were enough to draw an unhappy look from the Amazon. But she didn't ever really try to offer much into the conversation. Despite them pulling Chibimoon over they didn't seem particularly open to rest of the senshi and knights in the area.
Chibimoon and the 'Seal' made up the center of her attention universe at the moment, and they quickly got closed in as the Zodiac princess and some of her entourage approached.
She returned the greeting with a mild nod, shifting for comfort. Surrounded in so many people her princess was probably about as safe as she could get. So now Juno was just bored. She wished one of the other Amazonians were here. Or even one of those people she'd partnered up with for a battle or two. It was too stuffy and crowdy in here. What Juno wouldn't give to just be dangling from a tree right now. Or cartwheeling across an alleyway.
Only suddenly she found herself being dragged both physically and mentally and her attention snapped back, making sense of what was happening. A hug? That silly, overly emotional, terribly charming Allie. A gruff laugh sounded as she was squished into the impromptu group hug, offering her own strong squeeze back to Chibimoon and whoever her other arm had landed upon. "Tawainai"
She spotted Chronos and a few of the handmaidens moving, and turned a little to watch where they were headed. It was a path that would have led to weaving through quite a few people, and into a fairly populated area. And she seemed so busy... Concordia really didn't want to bother her if she was busy.
No, she was probably safer over here, attempting to hide in the shadow of the larger page beside her. The princess seemed safe enough. Adjusting her glasses mildly, the Chronos page wondered if she should be taking notes too of all the information being thrown around. Atleast it would keep her mind off of well.. everyone.

A small smile crossed her lips as Chibimoon pulled them into a group hug. Chronos patted her pink head gently as she turned, upon hearing Ganymede's voice to address his words.
"Perhaps, yes, it is as you say. I am silly to cling on to the past and what represents it. Foolish and stubborn, to reject the idea of destroying things that would aid their attempts on invading just because of sentimental value. But to me, the Surrounding is not just a relic of the past I can readily abandon. It is the place I have sworn to protect, which kept out Chaos from invading the Sol System, and my place I would fully intend to return to, after all this is over, to uphold my duty." Her voice was firm and it carried the truth that was from the very depths of her heart. It was where the Opal Crystal and her belonged, and it was where she would repay her sins of letting the Surrounding fall under her watch, by rebuilding it once again.
"You may doubt me when I say I do believe we should not linger in the past. I believe the past will aid us in our quest, providing vital information once lost to us. The memories I have are not complete, and it is my belief that they will only come when the time is right. So should we argue, about what is past and resolved, or should we put aside our differences to fight alongside each other? I offer you," A nod towards Ganymede, "and everyone else here an apology for my actions, and hope that you will not hold it against me and my Court." With that, she bowed, holding that stance for a good few seconds, before she straightened up to continue, to reply the other question posed.
"Purification is not a simple task." Chronos said, eyes closing as she dredged up whatever memories she had on the subject. "It was significantly easier for me to purify the Zodiacs during Barren Pines because they were of my own Court. One to one purification, I hear, takes a significant amount of energy and is extremely draining. Attempting to purify someone unwilling may not go the right way either, but I do not recall much on this subject. Is there anyone, perhaps a Guardian Cat, or any one else, who would provide a more accurate explanation?"

"Careful, missy," Sessrumnir spoke up with a snort of amusement in Chronos's direction. "They tend to get huffy about changing the subject before they're ready," he said with a jab of a thumb towards Niflhel. "I think they're still on the subject of Knights, and then I think I heard them talking about the DMC being the next subject. You might want to wait for the subject of purification to come up, or wait for the 'open topic' they keep talking about. Just saying."
Hey, it wasn't like he was saying anything to be rude. He was just pointing out his observations. They had gotten upset when the subject switched without them being ready.
Valhalla let out an audible sigh as he turned over his shoulder to see Chronos eavesdropping on a conversation specifically meant for just himself and Tsui.
"Prove to us that you won't abandon us, the senshi and the knights, then. Show us how you intend to keep Chaos from invading Earth even more than it has. We were there, we saw the Surrounding. It was a ghost of what it had been in the past. Unless you intend to revitalize it and have people live there and give up on Earth, it's still just a bunch of ruins, no matter how many memories are attached," he told her as he was sure Ganymede was rolling his eyes, wanting to say something but somehow holding himself back.
"We do doubt you. I told you specifically that the Dark Mirror senshi were coming through the mirrors and we hesitated to get rid of them. I'm willing to put that mistake aside since we are all human. Royalty doesn't make us divine. Your court I have no problem with. As I don't like to be judged as a group, I don't hold others accountable for the actions of one, or of their superiors, since I'm guessing how your court runs. You're their leader and they follow you," he said, trying not to roll his eyes at the apology that seemed too insincere and well placed.
"Don't apologize to us. Apologize to those who had to die. And then prove that you're willing to try instead of standing and watching behind your knights and senshi, letting them defend you. If you're a Princess and can truly harness the power of purification, show us that you won't abandon us. If you were in trouble, I would defend you with my life, regardless of whether or not you're part of my court, or even my friend...." he said, his eyes locked with hers. "I would protect you as my equal, not as a divine figure with memories of the past or unused power to protect the future, just as I would protect anyone else." So there was no reason for her to hide during a fight... Others would be around if she'd only let them. Of course, he wouldn't be surprised if she could care less about some peon of a squire saying he was willing to protect people when he was also willing to talk to the other side and possibly form a treaty with them, but whatever.
(( OOC: That conversation really wasn't meant for Chronos to hear! Or anyone else. Sunshine can't RP and can't respond, so Ganymede had specifically lowered his voice to minimize the amount of posts she would have to focus on once she is able to respond. She does offer regular RP for anyone who has a bone to pick with Ganymede, but unless she bolds his words, they're only meant for the few she mentioned in his post! Sorry for the inconvenience! Hopefully that will be made more clear in the next round! ))

Tomlin settled himself on Acubens's shoulder, refocusing on the dampening field while his prescence was tolerated. "You seem to have an excellent head on your shoulders," he said, and rubbed a furry cheek against hers. "Helping out newbies and all. Also, you're warm." He flashed a feline smile at his obliging cat tree. Her shoulder was a lot more comfortable than the cold hard floor, and he was infinitely grateful that she hadn't tipped him off yet. He was sure it was only a matter of time.
The Jovians were mostly in one place, though it rather gave him the impression that they'd backed themselves into a corner. He couldn't fault the opinions they voiced: their ethics were his, and all the others talk of killing was starting to grate on him. The guardian was prepared to take a more optimistic view. Who wouldn't want to be drawn back from the darkness of chaos? All they needed was a helping hand, and he was glad him team were among those willing to offer it. If the knight in black could only propose force, then maybe she hadn't truly left her former allegiance, and that was sad. He hoped there was someone to follow her out and remind her of the good in everyone, even the worst chaos-tainted she had known.
But he did have a job to do here, even if the discussion was interesting. There wasn't really anything he felt he could add, leaving the expert opinions to the other cats. Whether Acubens let him stay with her, or set him down, he really should try to concentrate.
-
Subamara's head was spinning. She hadn't realised this was going to be a whole study course in one meeting. She was sure she was missing so much, and desperately wishing she'd brought along her schoolbag with its endless supply of pens and scrap paper. Some bits, the stuff the people up the front were saying, kind of tied in to things she'd been told by the dream cat, or heard from the few other senshi she'd met. It was nice to hear it all laid out again. The debate up the back was more confronting - all this kill or be killed stuff seemed a long way away from having a pretty dress and dusting youma. She was relieved when the topic turned back to the 101 class: what is Knight, how do I senshi? She could work out the big world-shaking stuff later, when she had more of a handle on the basics.
She glanced around, wondering if anyone else was making more sense of it, and a very striking white-and-teal uniform caught her attention. The girl's golden eyes widened in recognition, and she immediately began pushing her way towards Super Sailor Athene, with the air of one approaching a rockstar for an autograph. It was the same senshi who had come to her rescue, she was positive. Would he remember? He wouldn't remember. He probably saved a lot of people. Nevertheless, she could still introduce herself, now she was a senshi too.
"Hello! I'm Sailor Subamara! Is it okay if I um." she waved her magic phone hopefully. "Scan you?" She was not at all certain about phone-scanning etiquette.
((OOC Sorry it's so far behind the current discussion... sweatdrop ))

Oh.. those magicy power things. Was that the 'aspect' thingy that had been mentioned? Bimini didn't really have much more to add then had already been mentioned. He's actually learned a thing or two about his group and a bunch about the senshi. But he could mention that weird magic thing!
"That Aspect thing you're talking about? If we're talking about the same thing I can tell you about my Cosmos one."
"I get all like... 'Edward in the sunlight' sparkley. Well... MORE sparkley" He grinned pretty wide, tugging at his pastel and glitter robes.
"Anyway it's like I get acid touch or something and pretty bad a**. The youma are all like RAWRRRRRR 'Escape escape!'" He was sure to pantomime it all, big scary claw arms for the youma, wiggling flailing arms for running away.
"It's about a million times better then my bowl of water. Speaking of which. Does anyone know why we get such crappy weapons? I mean what's up with that?" It was rhetorical of course, more of a joke then anything. But if anyone DID have an answer for it, well then awesome!

Tsui's attention remained on Valhalla and Ganymede until the one called Chronos had stepped in, and Tsui, figuring that she had already angered enough people, powerful knights, princesses, senshi and whatever that cat transformation person was, felt that it was best to keep all thoughts and comments to herself about this Chronos. She was a princess? She hardly looked the part, but after seeing Polaris power down, Tsui assumed that she was merely doing the same. The Tiger Senshi could hear and understand Valhalla's disgust, but she had nothing to add. She wasn't there. She had no right to speak.
Whether it was stepping over her boundaries or not, Tsui had returned Valhalla's gesture from earlier and placed a hand on his back, both to comfort him and calm him down, as well as to let him know that he had her support in the matter. She made sure to keep her voice low when she spoke, in lieu of someone else hearing it and mistaking her words to be directed at them. "From what I've gathered, there is no right and wrong, and dwelling on the past isn't going to help us proceed to the future, right? Making the same mistakes, though, that won't help either. I think once both sides let go of whatever shenanigans had happened in the past, the happier both sides will be."
She felt confident enough to say that, and she knew it was probably selfish of her to preach about something that was hard for most people. She wasn't there, she didn't see civilians corrupted or destroyed, so of course it'd be easier for her to simply let it go. But, acceptance of what has happened was the first step in recovery, wasn't it?
Now, in response to Bimini's question about crappy weapons, Tsui couldn't help herself to a little bit of snark, though there was some seriousness behind her words. "Maybe it's a test of your resourcefulness? I had a Negaverse lieutenant throw paper clips at me, and while they weren't that painful, she was very creative with it, and used her dinky weapon to the best of her ability. Macgyver did it all the time. If you can master the smallest, most harmless weapon, then imagine how great you'll be when you move into the next level?"
It made her wonder about her own attack... it was supposedly already rather powerful on its own, as other Senshi have pointed out. What would it be like if it was at Eternal stage? One could dream...

Resourcefulness? It was as good an answer as any and it drew a good natured nod from the Squire.
Wouldn't it have been better to test people out before giving them power though? He was still leaning towards 'cosmic joke' and that someone out there was just watching them all and snickering all the while. Oh well, he was a roll with the punches guy.
It if WAS resourcefulness though Bimini was probably failing that test. He was already a squire and he didn't feel really any better when his given weapon. It anything the addition of magic to his water had made him less inclined to whack people with it or use it like a frisbee. But he HAD used his ribbon a couple times to hold youma back from eating him. That counted didn't it?

Neso towered over Chronos, but when she linked arms with him, he bent his head down to her and said, "Hello there, princess. Look at how everyone is gathered! It could almost be a ball. Only needs music." As if to help out, Neso began tapping his foot and humming a bubbling tune. The tension in the room had not gone unnoticed by the Senshi of Summer, but he was doing what he did best -- totally ignoring it. When Princess Chronos dragged him toward Chibimoon, Neso followed along without complaint. He was hardly capable of complaining. He kept his perma-smile plastered on his face as his own princess comforted the smaller pink daughter of Serenity. "You are the princessiest of them all, Chibimoon." He paused. "Right after Chronos." AND there was a group hug? Shutup, it was practically Neso's birthday. After a pause while the others hugged, Neso was sure to wrap his arms around the entire group, giving an extra squeeze. He looked like an overgrown child. Pretty much par for the course. Unfortunately, then it was back to business and Neso resumed his stance, smiling happily at Chronos' side. When Sessrumnir casually rebuked Princess Chronos for changing topics, Neso took a step forward, blocking Chronos' tiny body with his massive one and just smiled blindly in the strange boy's direction. It wasn't aggressive, just protective. When Valhalla took a more aggressive stance, Neso turned to face the stranger and, for once, his smile fell. Anger was not an emotion that the boy was familiar with, but he was made to look out for Chronos. This person was saying things that might upset her. Ergo, the Handmaiden was at the ready. He took another step toward Chronos, just enough so that his arm brushed hers. If she said the word, he would get her out of that room in a hot second -- she just had to ask. --------- Taranis noted Perseus enter and regard him. He was never the most social and so he only nodded his head in her direction, lips still silent. He was too busy watching the ping-ponging conversation and wondering if they were doomed to destroy each other in this anarchy.
