Attacking Rase
Cetalese gasped as he slapped her across the face. She stared at him for half of a moment before ramming her full body weight into him again, trying to drive him back into the chair behind him.
She had been surprised he had slapped her, but she knew she shouldn't have been. As far as things went, it was a small dishonor and these people were aiming at showing a great deal of more dishonorable actions. Cetalese had siblings who flailed their arms and sometimes accidentally hit her in the face; the slap was no more harmful than that.

Attacking Gretask
Responding to Ivanhoth
Halith took the strikes on her sensitive face with a bugle, but she refused to let the wher go now that she had it. However, Ivanhoth's reply did not satisfy her. Their friends?
How can your wing not be your friends! We protect each other and you're trying to save the things attacking us! Halith rumbled deep in her chest and shook Gretask roughly, as if she was a large canine. If she was lucky, maybe she would break its neck quickly and make it painless. She didn't like hurting others, but she liked it even less when those she loved were hurt.
Your friends are attacking and killing others without reason or warning! They are not friends! She tossed her head roughly again. The wher was too heavy for her to lift into the air easily, but that didn't matter. Any ground clearance at all meant she had enough space to shake the wher about. Unfortunately, he was heavy, and on her last head toss, he managed to break free and land on his feet close to the ground. Halith bellowed with anger that she had lost the good grip she'd finally had on him and hadn't seemed to injure him any further, to boot.

Keela, Defending from ZornWhy that shardin deadgl--! Keela was quick to throw her free arm up to take some of the impact of the punch. Too strong of a blow to the head would definitely not be good. The arm managed to block successfully, but shards if the blow didn't still hurt. HP: 22 Attack: 1d6 + 2 Defense: 1d4 + 2 Accuracy: -3 Damage received: 7 - (3 + 2) = 2 damage taken New HP: 22 - 2 = 20

Taith, Attacking ZornskHumph! Like she was really going to let the little beast get away so easily. The green pursued after Zornsk, aiming a swipe at his legs with her claws. If she struck that would probably manage to slow it down a bit. Shame the stupid little beast was fast enough to avoid the blow. HP: 50 Attack: 2d4 + 2 Defense: 1d6 + 2 Accuracy: -6 Damage: (1 + 3) + 2 = 6 Accuracy: 6 - 6 = 0 (Miss)

Gneisth, Attacking HanskA queen! The brown was confused a moment as Cepheith struck, if only because she was not his queen. But then, the dragon reasoned, it would only make sense that a gold would protect her fellow dragons...and Gneisth was not at 'home' anyway. But he could not dare allow Hansk to attack this gold either. He rumbled thanks to Cepheith and readied to snap at the blue wher once more... New HP: 39/60 Attack: 1d10+2 Accuracy: -6 Damage: 10+2 = 12 Accuracy: 12-6 = 6, HIT

Zorn
Attacking KeelaHP - 17/30 Attack: 1d6+2=4 Accuracy: 4-3=1 - HIT! She had blocked his head, but the arm thrown up to protect her face left her side open, and Zorn had no trouble directing a hit there, hoping to hit a bunch of nerves that would make her regret trying to protect her precious Weyr.

Zornsk
Attacking GneisthHP: 27/40 Attack: 1d8+2=9 Accuracy: 9-5=4 - HIT! After neatly avoiding Taith's attack, Zornsk turned and darted under Gneisth to put some protection between himself and the big bad Green. As he reached Gneisth's underbelly, he didn't just pass it as Hansk had, he twisted and lashed out with open claws, scoring the underside of the Brown's hide. Zornsk was a wher, yes, but he wasn't entirely stupid. He and his handler had spent many happy hours exploring how clever Zornsk could be, and he knew the benefit of sticking with one target instead of trying to fight two.

K'en, Defending Against SasarApparently being on the ground wasn't going to be any safer than standing and fighting. K'en thrust up the arm not holding his side as he tried to redirect the falling wherhandler's descent. He did manage to avoid being stabbed directly this time, but that didn't stop the blade from managing to slice him once more. Also, the previous wound in his side was seriously making it rather difficult in his fight to try to stand back up. HP: 14 Attack: 1d6 + 1 Defense: 1d4 + 1 Accuracy: -3 Damage Taken: (7 + 2) - (4 + 1) = 4 New HP: 14 - 4 = 10 (Turn 1 of 2 of bleeding)

Hansk
Defending Against GneisthHP - 9/35 Def - 2+1=3 Damage taken: 9 Hansk stumbled as he escaped the Gold's attack, but he ran neatly into the Brown's next one, staggering as he tried to avoid as much of the strike as possible. It didn't work too well, and Hansk screeched again as his other wing was damaged, though not broken. An answering scream from the wher's handler came from the direction of the struggling Benden Goldrider and her attackers.

Rase
Defending Against CetaleseHP: 11/25 Def - 1d4+1=3 Damage taken: 3 His slap hit home and he had a moment to enjoy the look on the girl's face before she tackled him. He tried to brace himself to keep from falling backwards, as the last thing he wanted to do was trip over the chairs behind him. Instead, he just ran into them, bruising himself but letting the stumbling impacts slow him down before he reached the wall.

Stromath, Defending Against IvanhothThe attack from a fellow dragon was... unexpected, to say the least. Stromath did his best to move out of the way of the blow. Why do you defend them? the bronze demanded, eyes whirling with renewed fury. They take our homes and slaughter innocent people in the process. Do you not hear and see and smell the battle all around us? None of this was necessary. No one should have been harmed.Also, he desperately needed to get to His. His rider's brother wasn't able to protect him alone. HP: 51 Attack: 1d10 + 3 Defense: 1d8 + 3 Accuracy: -6 Damage Taken: 12 - (6 + 3) = 3 New HP: 51 - 3 = 48

Keela, Attacking ZornFfffffffffff-- Ooooh that was not remotely pleasant. Even should he somehow manage to pummel her into the ground, however, like hell would she ever regret fighting in the name of her Weyr. She held no love-loss for Trine necessarily, but Benden... Benden needed to be avenged. Recovering a bit from the side blow the greenrider aimed a kick for her opponents knees, trying to knock his legs out from under him. HP: 20 - 4 = 16 Attack: 1d6 + 2 Defense: 1d4 + 2 Accuracy: -3 Damage: 4 + 2 = 6 Accuracy: 6 - 3 = 3 (hit)

Hans
Attacking NarisaHP - 27/30 Attack: 1d6+2= 8 Accuracy: 8-3= 5 - HIT! That stupid Goldrider can hit.The punch and fall had disoriented him briefly, but the man had finally regained his feet and begun heading toward the Goldrider. He'd show her a thing or two. However, on his way he barely managed to avoid a fight between two riders and an angry, knife-wielding man. And then his wher had screeched in pain and Hans had hunched over. Wing! WING! Hans didn't know where Hansk was, but he turned wildly, searching for his injured Blue. At least whers didn't need their wings; useless appendages. When they made it out of this, he would patch them for his precious partner. For now, though, he needed to find someone to hurt, so that they could even the field a bit. He had just resumed his course to the Goldrider who had punched him when Hansk's wing was hit a second time, and then his other wing was bitten as well. Hansk shrieked in pain in his mind and Hans couldn't help but cry out. "Hansk!" he shouted, turning in a fury to see the Brown retracting from the attack on his poor mangled Blue. Hansk! Come to me! he called silently. His lip curled in a snarl, knowing he couldn't take on a dragon, and caught sight of Tomen struggling with a woman. Ah. There was a place he could make the riders pay. Hans ran over and elbowed Narisa sharply in the back. Two on one wasn't a fair fight, but neither was pitting three dragons against his wher. Show them a taste of their own medicine. Hansk! Come! he called again. He could get his wher out of harm's way in the meantime.

Taith, Attacking ZornskUgh. Get back here, you little runt! she challenged, pursuing the wher still. He may have been trying to hide under a fellow dragon, but that didn't mean that she couldn't still duck under to reach him! She tried to bite and grab onto his tail, but the slippery little wher managed to avoid her attack. Taith was not happy with this. HP: 50 Attack: 2d4 + 2 Defense: 1d6 + 2 Accuracy: -6 Damage: (1 + 2) + 2 = 5 Accuracy: 5 - 6 = -1 (miss)
