Cruz was at Brendall's bedside. He was requested to stay at the young man's bedside for when he woke up. All new patients needed help when they first came to the hospital. He got the short end of this straw.

"I don't think I can ever sleep again. The gun shot sounds are even worse when I sleep." Emma began to calm down shortly though and began to feel better. "I don't want to be left alone."

Zero sighed as she looked up at her older son with his pale hair and bright brown eyes he looked more like his father then her a worn out shell with nothing left but a baby on the way who probably wouldn't survive.Zero sighed and shook her head leaning back against the pillows and trying to sleep

Kaley was not too surprised when he shrugged her off, but she still a little hurt. Alone and with nothing to do, she returned to her room and turned on her own television.
She flipped through the channels bored. She flipped through channels like Animal Plant and Discovery too quickly to see anything. Just in case. Dog's always popped up in those. Even on when just television, they made a cold fear start in the pit of her stomach.

Karalynn walked into Brendall's room with a cup cake in her hand. She had a smirk on her face as she entered. "Happy birthday. How're you feelin'?" she asked handing him the cupcake.

Zero groaned as she opened her eyes and stood up wincing as she looked at her brother who walked over to her and helped her stand walking with her down the hallway to one of the room and easing her into a chair " You should be resting mom." Crimson said watching a sad look on his face

Cruz smiled and looked at Brendall. "I'm am Dr. Cruz White, I'm here so you don't freak out and go crazy in a hospital." He answered him with a coy smile. He noticed the girl and her comment. He didn't act on it because it didn't mean his birthday was today. "We'll of course continue to take are of your wounds. If you have any issues please tell a doctor or nurse." The man commented before getting up. No reason for him to stay.

Olsen stroked Emma's hair to calm her down. He found through the years that it helped relaxed him. "You can and will sleep. If I promise not to leave your side will you sleep?" He asked her.

Zero sighed for a moment pushing herself into a standing position and shook her head sighing as her son caught her lifting her up in his arms and carried her back to the room and sighed as she settled her down on the bed pulling the blanket over her

Kaley quickly turned the TV off. She cqeezed her eyes shut and tried to concentrate on breathing. She didn't know what was with people fascination with "man's best friend". Yeah, right.
She tired not to let the little friendly dog that popped up on cartoon remind her of the one from her "encounter".
"I'm here, I'm safe, I'm fine, I'm safe, I'm fine...." she repeatly thing until she calmed down slightly. She was getting better at this. Most cases she could shrug it off.
Still she needed a distraction. Kaley picked up her things and returned to the common room and her favorite spot in the corner.

Putting the DVD into the machine he wheeled her over to where she could see well and sat down next to her when it began. He couldn't remember if he'd seen this movie before, Grey might have, but for now he was captivated. at the movie. He didn't relize he had grabbed onto one of her hands and held it happily.

Crimson frowned for a moment as he watched his mom's eyes finally close before walking off his feet beating against the pale floor and he shook his head shuddering slightly as he walked into the common room and sat down sighing softly to himself
