Mitsutada's name comes from the time Masamune killed a man, cutting through a bronze candle-stick holder in the process. While he harbors no ill-will towards his lord, he wishes the object was one a bit more sturdier! He is obsessed with being cool and stylish, always preening himself to look his best. He has taken it upon himself to be a motherly figure to the other swords, cooking and ensuring they are properly presenting themselves at all times. Ookurikara often calls it "mothering." He is most commonly seen around Ookurikara as they are both favored swords of their lord. Their partnership has blossomed from just friends on the battlefield to taking a new direction as partners in life. They have even adopted a child together, Pest, now known as Hira, when her biological parents kinda 'abandoned' her.
Fun Facts:
Mitsutada is blind in the eye he has covered. There is also scarring. Only Masamune and Ookurikara know this. Ookurikara knows a bit more behind the story.
Mitsutada smells of lavender. It keeps him calm and collected even in the heat of battle. He also notices Ookurikara is a lot calmer whenever he is around. Whether this is due to his scent or just his presence remains unknown.
