Breathing heavily, Jericho slowly looked over towards Mot. The pain had faded as quickly as it had come. Straightening up, he looked to the cowboy, then looked around as if trying to find signs of something.
"You... didn't hear that? That scream? It sounded like..."
The dragon stopped as he heard a new voice enter the scene. Narrowing his eyes at the demon, he looked him over for a moment. He wasn't familiar with this one, but he had seen him around before. He was one of the ruckus makers at the damn play during Christmastival.

"Um.. no, I didn't hear anything other than you." Mot said with a shake of his head. Was Jericho hearing things? Mot frowned at the thought.
Titus's unwelcome presence was met with a glare from the cowboil.

Jericho stared at Mot, then towards the ground. Something was not right here. He could have sworn that had really happened. It felt.. real. It felt like her. Like she was alive somewhere, but in immense pain.
"Are.. are you sure..? Nothing? That.. that was Riley though.."

"That's good to he---" Amrita paused, dropping the clipboard she was holding to press her hands against her ears. That roar, that roar! It hurt in more ways than one; it was loud AND heartbreaking.
"Ah, er, s-sorry that wasn't---um. H-hold on!" She apologized to Titus, only barely hearing his comment in lieu of the ringing eardrums the Dragon so nicely bestowed upon her. When she turned towards Jericho, she gave him a rather worried look. Sound? Riley? Oh dear, this was...not good. "Ah...Jericho, there was no sound. Are you sure...? Do you...need me to call Mal?" If Jericho was hearing voices or sounds, she really couldn't think of anyone but the Doctor to turn towards.

Mot's heart leapt into his throat at that name, a name he'd been trying to become at peace with. "Riley.." Mot's eyes cast themselves downward. "It.. could just be that you wish her to be alive so badly.. you hear her in the slightest.." Mot nervously fidgeted with his with his poncho, trying not to get his hopes up.

Amrita hadn't heard it either. Frowning, Jericho turned back to Mot, pausing at his words. The other night, he had an illusion of her as well... granted as heartbreaking that hallucination was, it was much nicer than what he had just witnessed. He didn't want to hear her in pain.
"She.. sounded in pain. We.. don't want her to be in pain.. Why would we..." he began to murmur, not understanding what was going on.
"..Maybe talking to Malodore would be good.."
Though, the doctor was a healer of the body.. not so much of the mind. He was losing grip on reality it felt like.

"Y-yeah..." Amrita said uncertainly, agreeing with Mot on the whole hearing them everywhere bit. As Jericho explained the noise Amrita flinched; it really only solidified something the Demoness had told her once, before the trip came around. They should have destroyed the statue when they got the chance, but...she was not going to bring that up, not here. Not with so many people around a Dragon that isn't all that stable anymore.
"Okay, I'll get it." Even as he gave his agreement she was already scrolling through her small group of contacts, finding the Plague Doctor. It started ringing, and the moment it stopped, she was talking, whether it was the Doctor itself or an answering machine.
"Ah, Mal? Hi, it's Amrita, uhm...can you come to the Cafeteria? I think Jericho needs help, he says he heard...her." She said awkwardly, glancing at the Dragon.

Malodore had been startled out of its emotional reverie by the sound of the phone ringing - such a mundane noise that, for a moment, it seemed unreal. It took it a few rings to pick it up, mutter a hoarse greeting, and... Its claws tightened convulsively around the phone, making the device creak a bit under the sudden pressure. "He heard her too," it croaked, and there was the sound of scrabbling hooves audible through the phone speaker. "I am coming right now - grazie, molto grazie!" And then apparently the plague doctor forgot to actually hang up, as scraping and shuffling sounds went on for some time, at least until Amrita herself decided to hang up. Enoh Love I am about to go to a meeting so Mal will take a little time to actually arrive!

Mal had heard her too? Those poor creatures...! Her free hand lifted to clutch the fabric over her heart, nodding to the phone even though she knew deep down that it wouldn't see it. "Okay! We'll be here. Uhm..." The muffled sounds took over and the Plague Doctor was obviously no longer paying attention. It took a moment or two for her to realize it, but in the end she couldn't bring herself to hang up just yet.
"Mal's on it's way, Jericho. It heard her too." She assured the Dragon, holding out her phone to him. "It forgot to hang up I think, so if you need to hear it..." It was there, right? At least he'd know that the Doctor would be on his way relatively safely.Sosiqui That's cool! Take your time! <3

In pain..? Mot wasn't sure what to say about this at all. Mot let Amrita take hold of the situation. She seemed to know Malodore, as Mot only once or twice had met the doctor. He certainly didn't have it as a contact.
Still, while they waited, Mot stood by as support.
Amrita's information was met with a sudden look from the cowboil. It had heard it too? What did that mean?

Jericho wasn't sure what to make of this. That sound.. it had torn through his mind and heart. It had to have been real, but no one else here heard it. The idea of Riley somehow suffering right now was not something he wanted to think about either.
Soon after Amrita finished speaking with Malodore on the phone, his eyes lit up for just the moment.
"It.. It did? It's not just us then..." he said while shaking his head to himself. Malodore was not infected with Insanity like himself. In fact, it was immune to it as far as he was concerned. That meant this couldn't have been a hallucination.. right?
"It... it's alright," he replied shaking his head to the phone. He knew the doctor would come. Though for now, he just slumped down to the floor.
he tried to call out to her, hoping that he might be able to receive a response.

The plague doctor banged through the creepateria doors, looking uncommonly disheveled, its robes rumpled as if they'd been slept in - which, in fact, they had been. It paused for a second, obviously startled by the number of students in the room, then made a beeline for Jericho and Amrita, gaze focused on the dragon.
"You heard it. You felt it too. You heard her," Malodore burst out, grabbing Jericho's shoulders with both hands. It was shaking again. "It wasn't a dream."

Titus couldn't hear a jack damn thing passed the ringing in his ears. He could see mouths moving but not a word reached him. There were random glares his direction he could only assume they were jealous of his impressive features. Really, who wouldn't be?
His gaze shifted from the lizard to the cowboil recognizing him from the trials. "Ah, Kidget's boy toy. So we meet again. It's ....good," Though Titus sounded doubtful about the phrasing. "..I suppose to know you're still around." His voice was still much louder than it needed to be.
The undead ghoul warranted a longer stare having not seen her before, though it wasn't her face that seemed to hold Titus' focus. Sure she was busy chatting on the phone and fussing over the noisy lizard but damn that was a nice rack. If he hadn't been so focused he might have noticed one more had joined their party.

Malodore had arrived, so there was nothing more Mot could do for Jericho. Titus's loud voice was noted, met with a sigh from the cowboil. It would do no one good for the demon to pester his friends in their current states. not only that he noted leering at Amrita's bosom. No, no that would not fly with him here.
Mot sighed again and wrapped an arm around Titus's shoulder, dragging the demon toward the forms. "Good, yes, it is fantastic to see you well. Have you filled out a form?" Mot let him go and shoved a clip board into Titus's hands. "I suggest you do so."
Distracting Titus. Mot was doing it.

Oh there was...touching. Titus didn't like it one bit and gave the cowboil a bit of a sneer as he was suddenly pulled down with an arm over his shoulders. " WHAT?!" Titus asked even louder than before, Mot's words still eluding him somewhat. " What about my dorm? I certainly don't want you coming there." Titus retorted quickly looking down at the clipboard shoved into his hands. Well....this was certainly not as exciting to stare at. With a sigh Titus cornered a pen snake and started to fill the damn thing out. Quote: YEARBOOK QUESTIONNAIRE All About You!
