Anna heaved a sigh of intense relief as the slime beast... died? Got cleaned up? Whatever, it was gone now. Making a face, Anna upended the remaining water in her bucket over herself - it was better than nothing - then spent a few minutes scraping residual slime out of her hair. Ew. Ew ew ew.
Quietly, feeling vaguely guilty about not being really helpful in a fight, Anna started looking for this key... but all she found was a slime-sodden Bookbat, flapping its wings in a weak and burdened sort of way. Poor little thing.
((41 - 60: You see a stray school supply minipet wandering around, though it doesn't look much like a key... (OOC: You obtain a RANDOM school supply minipet!)

Jove toed around in the gross muck a bit longer, wondering if there was anything else of use down there, when the hair on the back of his neck rose. It felt like something was watching him, possibly even something with... malicious intent... Whirling around, the pup nearly stumbled backwards as he stared up at the unfamiliar reaper. And the giant snake. And the banshee. Then he puffed up, trying to look a more reasonable size.

"You realize that by doing that, you're just making yourself look fluffier?" He chuckled, clearly amused as he grinned, slowly reaching out to put a hand on his head, "Which is hardly intimidating to most students."

Jove immediately jerked his head away and bared his teeth. There were precious few students who could touch his ears without angry reactions, and too-tall strangers saying antagonistic things were not included! Who did this reaper think he was, making light of the pup's behaviour?
Crossing his arms stubbornly across his chest, Jove huffed in a very pointed manner. He could be intimidating if he wanted! Right now he just wasn't trying!

Was that it?
Hearing Sparrow stomp around behind him, he turned around from the zomboil with his ears perked up, just in time to watch the reaper do the best and worse fall of the day, crashing on the ground with a bit of flailing and gunk everywhere. Seeing that the little she-tsune seemed fine, and his bro seemed pre-occupied, he wandered over to the reaper, kneeling down -- directly on something.
Picking up the picture frame, his eyebrows folded inwards as he attempted to read the inscription, but nothing seemed to come further than "The defenders of. . ." Shrugging softly, he placed it in his back pocket, before looking to Sparrow, offering his bucket of water.
"Shall I help you get clean, you have gunk. . . uh. . ." He strayed, before sort of looking him over. "Everywhere."

Thanatos look one look at the way the student was acting, and burst into laughter, withdrawing his hand, "I apologize if I had offended you, but I was only pointing out a personal observation of mine. Now, how about we start over?" He bowed, still grinning away, "I am Thanatos, this is my familiar, Biskoto, and this-" He gestured at the Banshee clinging to him, "Is Siobvan... Who am I addressing?"

Jove eyed the reaper in a way that said he still wasn't quite forgiven. Then he eyed the snake, and the banshee, with a wary expression as they too would start laughing at him very shortly. Then he hesitated for a minute. It was long enough to make anyone pause, and wonder if he planned on introducing himself at all.
But then he spoke one word in a quiet voice, with an accent that was almost undetectable at that low volume. "Jove."

The beast of slime was gone, the hunt for the key was on.
And Thanatos was getting some it seemed. Making eye contact the red haired reaper stared with a very serious face, green eyes almost burning with inner fire behind his glasses...
... as he slowly gave Thanatos the thumbs of up of bro approval.
It was a subtle gesture tagged with only a nod right after before turning to the slime again. "See anything cat?"
Sharpie still shviering from his unexpected bath shook his head, "Nooo not yet can we uhhhh ahhhhchoo! Warm me up a bit?"
"After he key."
"This is one of the rare moments where I really hate you False."
The cat made a face, it looked like this.

Poor kitty. It was still a sad kitty when it discovered something silver flashing in the ooze. "No key but if I get you pumpkin seeds-"
"Fine I'll dry you out." Grabbing the silver seeds False snapped his fingers igniting the ink on Sharpie's paws quickly drying the small feline out as he stood back up shooting Thanatos another '******** yeah bro' look before going to tend to Anna.
"Anna are you alright?"((Two pumpkin seeds awww yeah))

Siobhan got spooked by Jove baring his teeth, inhaling sharply and jumping onto Thanatos. Koala Cling-style. She eased her nerves as the tension died, nodding as she was introduced.
But she didn't let him go.

West wasn't paying a whole lot of attention to his surroundings or what the other students around him were talking about, although he could swear he heard the wisp actually speak. Nah, he had probably just been hallucinating. All he needed was a bit of a nap. West drooped from his seated position to one that seemed more conducive to sleeping, a pair of silver seeds adhering to his cheek as he pressed it into the sludge. Now that things no longer smelled quite so bad, the demon dozed off in a matter of moments. Quote: 1- 20: You see a glint of more silver pumpkin seeds, they shine, but you're pretty sure that's not the key so you pick some up for yourself.... why not. (OOC: You obtain 2 silver pumpkin seeds)

Angenora could finally breathe again after the blob had dissipated. she sighed with relief then slightly jumped at the sound of Arel on the ickycom. She blinked with a puzzled expression, "A key?" She questioned. she looked over to see that other students had been fine after the attack. She looks around in the slime until she get grabbed by the ooze. She flails wildly as slime began to be flung everywhere. "Get off!" She almost scream she ended bumping into another student. She gasped before holding a hand out to help the foxfire boil up from being knocked over. "I'm so sorry!" She said in a worried tone. Quote: 66- 90: In your attempt to find something the slime finds you. You spend almost the entire time flailing in attempts to not get grabbed into the eternal abyss of slime in the room.

The honest to Jack exit swung open as one tiny secretary, still holding a slightly subdued Ickycom set, ran into the room - or well, slightly into the room, stopping about two feet in and immediately regretting his actions. "Well," he held out one hand, backing up a bit more because of the smell that was still pretty bad as in terribly bad, "Hand over the key first, and then you can go."
Sure, the students could just barrel past the secretary, but who knew if the ninja gnome army was still around somewhere or even hiding in the shadows.

Thackery's attention moved away from Tomoko for just a short moment, turning to Arel instead. He frowned, slime-encrusted head tilting to the side at the demand.
"Wait. Why is the key so important, if it's not for the exit?" Keys were crucial little objects. They held more power than most gave them credit for, and just handing one over like that...it made him a little uneasy.
He tucked his own keys into his shirt, glaring at Arel with narrowed eyes. Key snatcher.

"I-I'm okay!" Anna said, awkwardly wringing out her hat before putting it back on her head. "Th-thanks... are you okay? Sharpie too? Shibey's in my room, so..." The witchling looked bedraggled and soaked, since she'd upended the remains of her water bucket over herself.

Thanatos' eyes remained on the much smaller boil, waiting quietly for an introduction. When it was finally delivered, he chuckled, "Pleasure to meet you, Jove." The snake coiled around his shoulders lowered herself to the boil's eye level, and hiccuped once - forming a bubble in the process - before softly hissing, looking slightly embarrassed, "Oh, don't mind Thanatossss, darling."
Meanwhile, Thanatos was raising an eyebrow at False's thumbs up, watching as the reaper moved over to Anna; perhaps the reaper was not that much of a lost cause, after all.
Looking down at Siobvan, he gave her a pat on her head before grinning, "I really do not mind the clinging much, but with you in this position, it is difficult for me to move." So much extra weight riding on his body... It was a miracle he hadn't fallen over yet.
The secretary's arrival was not missed by Thanatos, but while he kept quiet on the issue, he had to echo the students' concerns; perhaps the key would lead to something interesting... Seemed to him like detention was worth it after all - this was better entertainment than anything currently showing on skelevision.
