 Koto grunted as he woke. Everything was extremely blurry. Where was Rin? Where was everyone? He couldn't feel the others in the camp. He recognized the monk's aura as well as Toga's aura. after a few minutes, his vision started to clear. It was then that he felt his Lady, Kurama and Masato returning. Not a moment later, he felt Stian. As his vision completely cleared, he suddenly felt Rin's aura. It was normal. There was something completely off.
Rising to his feet, his gaze took in the campsite. The sun was rising into the sky. Turning, he caught sight of the others standing by Toga. Frowning, he started to move forward before coming to a halt. His eyes began to bleed as the scent of Rin's blood filled his senses. He dimly heard Hotaru say something to the others then but he continued to move forward. They were separating him from Rin. A growl came. Between Stian and Masato, they would be able to subdue him enough to keep him from interfering.
 Hotaru didn't mind Masato's lingering touch, her gaze drawn to Kurama as he moved by them. Finally she looked down and smiled once more at Masato. "Come along Masato-kun." She gently took his hand in her own, leading him back to the camp site. As they reached the camp site, she gazed around perplexed. She caught sight of Koto rising from the ground as the sun rose. He'd be groggy in the beginning. Then her gaze found Stian. He had Rin on his back. Her eyes instantly turned cold and watchful as he laid Rin on her her back by Toga.
Moving forward immediately, she dropped by Rin. Toga was still asleep due to the fact he had been tired. She would have to speak with him soon. Inspecting Rin, her gaze grew troubled. The spell had been drastically harmed. "Kurama, I need you to get these herbs immediately." She handed a list to Kurama. most of the herbs were easliy found. There was only one that only a herbalist would actually have on hand at all times. She would need to once again fix the spell.
Without looking up, she looked at Stian. "Tell me what happened to cause this. Whoever shattered her has caused irreparable damage to the spell she is under." Her gaze was thunderous and yet colder than ice. Her voice reflected as such. Whoever had done this, she would ensure stayed far away from Rin now. This was uncalled for. To think Sesshomaru was supposed to be protecting her. That fool still didn't truly understand what it meant to have someone to protect. Slipping a hand in her inner pocket, she ensured Kurama wasn't paying attention as she called forth one of the ancient weapons. It was a simple dagger that had belonged to the original miko. She felt it slightly singe her hands but ignored it. She'd have to bleed her a little. Her blood would be needed to fix this.
At that moment, she felt Koto stalk over angrily. Glancing at Stian, she spoke softly. "Stian, Masato, keep General Hakoto from her side. Kurama, I will need you to stand guard over the two of us. Do this now." This was not the voice of the easy going Hotaru they knew. This was the Lady of the Southern Lands.

With: Kagome, Inuyasha, Kouga, Sesshomaru Although he was aiming at Sesshomaru he wasn't an idiot. Following the eyes of both Seshsomaru and Inuyasha led to the sighting of what looked to be a small insect. In his days at Saint Hakushin's temple, he had noticed the little insects flying around him but not actually trying to touch him or anything. Which meant...they were being watched by someone, and no doubt this Naraku person everyone was talking off. Taking a knee, his arm swung around in a half circle, and as he released his arrow, large amounts of spiritual energy coated it before it would have struck the poisonous insect destroying it completely. Now taking another arrow out, he proceeded with aiming at Sesshomaru. Something about Inuyasha seemed demonic, but Keita felt as though he could trust the male.
Kouga on the other hand, was now holding Kagome's hand in order to keep her from proceeding any further. His grip wasn't exactly tight because he didn't want to hurt Kagome, but it was firm enough that if she tried to break free, he would at least be alerted when she did so.

Go Shikigami!  Masato was pulled by Hotaru, her grasp held to against his as he followed with her and Kurama back to the camp. His eyes widen, surprised that Hotaru was holding his hand. He didn't mind, but for some reason he felt a bit strange. His face redden, something weird was going on with him that he wasn't himself right now. This excitement... He cleared his thoughts and relaxed that it was nothing more than the two of them walking back together to the camp. He smiled, the one thing he was glad about was Hotaru returning to the campsite. When Kurama mention making breakfast earlier, it sounded good at the moment that his stomach growled. Well, it's been a while since he heard that sound than determine if he was hungry or not. With everyone out in the forest, he wondered what kind of food they would have to a feast on, there had to be something edible they could come across. They nearly reach to the campsite, he could see the spot from the distance they were in. His hand comfortably held Hotaru's without a thought when they made their return,
The grounds were empty leaving only the youkai who had been resting the the whole night. His attention drew to the large cat youkai watching an unconscious and wounded woman, what happened when he left to find Hotaru? The young youkai child was still asleep and by himself, the rest of the company had vanished somewhere off. In an instance, Hotaru had let go of his hand as she attend to the injured Rin. She ordered Kurama to fetch some herbs and questioned Stian to the cause of Rin's state. Masato glanced at Rin, there were scrapes and pieces of rubble that stick to her skin and bleed slowly. He watched Hotaru rumble through her pockets and pulled out a dagger, it didn't look anything special although what was she planning to do with it? Her hand was singed from its touch, he believed in Hotaru of her actions. He heard the footsteps of the youkai who rose from his resting place, his expression wasn't all pleasant and knew he wasn't in a big mood for their actions on Rin.
Masato tilted his head back for him to listen. Under her request, he nodded and turned around completely to face the approaching General. Seems they were gonna have their hands filled, for him to be a General of all times wasn't going to be an easy task to hold him off while they were in the process in treatment. He didn't want to hurt him, but he wouldn't underestimate what the General was capable of if he did try to break through to interrupt. One of his Shikigami had returned to his side in his aid. Without a thought, he called on to a second Shikigami to enter the scene. This was a first, he had to meditate for them to be called forth and he called out one without a thought. The two spirits stood in front of him, but neither him nor the foxes made any sudden moves. He calmly watch Koto, he had to stall him from advancing.Location - Forest

Sesshomaru turned away disappearing for a moment before appearing before Kagome, "priestess...Lady Kagome was it...Rin admires you..I can sense the spiritual scent is quite like yours...if my brother fails to protect Rin or she is in danger...I ask you to fire a sacred arrow as a beacon...regardless of what has happened I won't let anything happen to her.." He looked over towards Rin before back at Kagome. He hated asking for help from a human it felt wrong but he knew she was more understanding and wiser than the others and wouldn't understand. "In return for this favor I will not harm Inuyasha or your friends....but dont take this as a sign of weakness...if I were to be attacked I wont stand defenseless...tell Rin for me...." Sesshomaru closed his eyes as he flew up in a ball of light disappearing from sight.

 Kagome Higurashi Kagome was furious when Inuyasha told her to go back to the camp, sure it appeared as though he had control of himself while in demon form but for how long. Kagome ripped her hand out of Kouga's grip and then picked up her bow and arrows. At the moment Kagome was actually missing the fake Inuyasha, at least he didn't order her around like Inuyasha had just done. She was about to leave when Sesshomaru appeared in front of her and asked a favour of her, which surprised her but she didn't let it show. Kagome then headed back towards the camp and if anyone tried to pick her up and carry her so that she could return faster they would get one dirty glare. When Kagome did reach the camp she slowly wandered over to Stian and said, "Here let me tend to Rin's wounds." Kagome wandered over to her things and grabbed her first aid kit..

Koto glared at Masato but deep inside, he knew if he harmed the human, it would cause trouble. He snarled fiercely at him for a bit before the sight of Inuyasha and Kouga entering caused him to become even more restless. Inuyasha let out a snarl at him. Koto hesitated briefly. They were helping her. Jumping back into the shadows, he settled to watch them carefully. If they did anything wrong, he'd attack.
Once Sesshomaru left, Inuyasha closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Once more opening them again, his eyes were once more golden and warm. He attempted to move to lift her up and felt a little hurt when she glared at him but it didn't last long. Stupid wench, here he was trying to protect her and she was being all snooty. He felt a large amount of pleasure when she even sent Kouga off away from her. Once they got back to camp, he watched Kagome go over to Rin, Stian and Hotaru. Snarling at Koto's obnoxious behavior and informing him that they were helping her, he watched him go back some. "Inuyasha, you must take who is going with you to go after Naraku. It seems I will be unable to move on from here." He watched Hotaru. There was almost a wistful look on her face as she stared at Rin. Why, he had no idea. "Whatever. Let's get going. Kagome, you coming or what?"Hotaru was so intently focused on the task before her as she ground the herbs into a small bowl that she had slightly jumped when Kagome appeared. She watched her get her first aid kit. Stopping her before she could begin, she spoke. "Hold a moment. There is something more dangerous going on right now." She placed a dagger in Kagome's hands. The purity of the blade would allow even Kagome to feel the strength and power of it even if she didn't know what the dagger was exactly. "Whilst I speak, I need you to cut a small line on her arm to allow the blood to drip into this bowl. Once she drinks it, we can bandage her wounds." She hesitated and glanced back at Inuyasha. "Inuyasha, you must take who is going with you to go after Naraku. It seems I will be unable to move on from here." At his words, Hotaru scoffed. "I still have need of her. I will send her through shadows after we are finished with Rin." She nodded to Kagome and began to chant under breath. The pulse of youki and reiki rose up from Hotaru, causing her to glow in an etheral light. Already she could sense the darkness that sought to take Rin away from this land. She would not let it.

Kagome Higurashi Kagome didn't even respond or acknowledge Inuyasha when they got back to camp. When Hotaru told her to hold off to tending to her wounds Kagome hesitated for a moment before taking the blade from her. When she took it into her hands, she felt the overwhelming sense of darkness and decided it was best to do what Hotaru said. She cut as carefully as she could and then allowed the blood to trail down Rin's arm and into the bowl. Once it was enough and she was given the go ahead Kagome started to bandage up Rin's injuries; starting with the cut on her arm that she'd just made.

As the group all began to reappear, He didn't stray from Rin's side. Though he rumbled a warning growl at Koto who seemed to have gone ferrally protective of Rin. While Hotaru and Kagome came over to start doing something for Rin, the she dog demanded to know what happened to her. His tail twitched in agitation. "Ask the white dog lord. He who chose himself another female has dismissed this child. He told her to do as she pleases, and she chose to commit suicide over the cliff yonder. Grrrrrr....I caught her before she got impaled on the sharp rocks below or broke her body upon hitting ground." Even as the women demanded room to work this white lynx didn't move on their command.OOC: Where: campsite

Now then...
As the following fell out, Stian showing up with Rin hurt, and the soon regathering of the others. Despite how tired Kurama felt he did as he was told without question, fist he had laid out his own medicine bag out next to Hotaru for her to pick out what she needs from it, and he meanwhile left to go to where he had scene some likely medicinal plants in the area to pick a few of each. As the two Ladies started to bandage her wounds he returned with what Hotaru had asked for, using a bottle f water to dampen the herb's roots and grind them for her while pointing out the diferent dried herbs he already had in his medicine bag to her. He heard Inuyasha's demand that they go. "Don't be too brash, but go if you must. We will be along shortly."

Kagome had freed herself and left his safe grip before moving to help Rin with her wounds. Inuyasha had returned to his normal half-demon self but even that was still rather aggravating for Kouga. Following the others back to the camp, he looked around for a moment before sniffing at the air itself. "Were missing someone. The woman, Sango, with the large weapon." spoke Kouga before turning to Keita immediately. The look he gave the boy immediately conveyed what Kouga was thinking, and as he began walking forwards, he waited until Keita would have lept onto his back before taking off through the forest. Having been near the woman in the Shadow Realm and then around camp, he was now used to her scent and could very easily track it without problem. The speed in which he was moving at was not so fast that Inuyasha or another demon could not catch up with him, but they would not be running alongside of him, at least, not until his pace slowed.

With: KougaThankfully, he did not need to shoot Sesshomaru or Inuyasha who seemed to revert back to normal. Placing the arrow back in his quiver, he slid the Longbow of Saint Hakushin around his arm so that is was strung around his back, he followed after Kouga to the campsite. Kagome was taking care of the little girl, and while he did know a little bit of first aid thanks to the school, but he would leave her to it since he had not been requested. Kouga spoke of someone being missing, and as the two made eye contact, he nodded his head before running and leaping onto Kouga's back. While he was slowly coming to trust the male, he watched as the scenery changed around him at a rapid speed, no doubt because of the Jewel shards enhancing his speed greatly.

Go Shikigami! Seeing that Koto retreated and settle himself back into watching his friends into mending Rin, Masato stood there watching the youkai from his temporary post in case that he made any moves to take back Rin during the healing procedure. Of course, it would be suspicious to have them mess with the body of a young girl, simply putting bandages on them would assume in tampering of her own being. He quietly watched, allowing the women to make work in Rin's recovery. His attention shifted to Inuyasha, his impatience seemed to get to him. He didn't blame him, they had to seek Naraku at once and time was getting shorter by the second. He opened his mouth to say something, but returned shut as it was no use to tell the stubborn half-youkai to give her a minute to finish up. Kurama had already taken care of talking to Inuyasha, he let it be to that whether Inuyasha had to accept his words or not. His attention was soon on Stian, explaining what had happen during their absence. So, Sesshomaru was the cause of Rin's attempt on suicide? Heartbreak by the sounds of it, but for her to resort to that was foolish.
He glanced at the two girls from the corner of his eye, there was no point in the urge to ask them if they had finished. He returned to keeping an eye on Koto while he waited. There was one thing that bothered him, why did Naraku went to great lengths in taking Lorelai and Kino? Was it simply to lure them into one of his traps? His thoughts seized for the moment as Kouga and Keita entered the campsite. Wondering where had Sango gone off to, he returned back to the forest to track her down. He wasn't anything different than Inuyasha with his sense of smell. He turned to the current party present, speaking his own mind would be best now. "Has it even occur to us the reason why Naraku kidnap Lorelai and Kino? Don't you think it's a bit strange for sending one of his servants to attack us and take the girls when he could have order them to kill us?" The youkai he sent, it was one of his servants who ambushed them with the raid of youkai trying to break through the barrier.Location - Forest

 Tsuki & Rusega The wolf siblings had chosen to remain uninvolved in the situation with Rin. They were waiting until the others decided to leave. When Inuyasha made the claim that they were ready, Tsuki and Rusty got up and moved over to them. "It's about time." When Masato spoke, Rusty growled at the boy. "Who cares why? He has my sister, and Lorelai. The only important thing is getting them back." He looked at Inuyasha, waiting for the dog's cue to leave. Though it felt weird to Rusty to be taking orders from the pup, he knew his sister would just tell him to fall in line and listen to Inuyasha. After all, this was his home, not theirs. Tsuki, while Rusty spoke his mind, moved closer to Kagome. She spoke quietly. "Kagome, maybe when this is all over, I can speak with you. Privately if you'll allow it. Though Tsuki knew that she could just isolate Kagome if she wanted, crossing Inuyasha was not on her to-do list. The wolf leader just wanted to rid herself of the shard in her forehead. She smiled at Kagome, showing that she had no bad intentions.  S H I P P OShippo had followed the group, since he was laying by Kagome when it all happened. Now, he was sitting on Inuyasha's shoulder, waiting for the next move. He was a bit concerned, but he figured if Kagome trusted Inuyasha in this mood, then he could too. He glanced around and spotted a shape in the sky. After a moment, he recognized the large cat. He jumped down and ran in her direction, shouting. "Kirara!!! It's Kirara!!! When the cat landed, Shippo jumped and hugged her neck. But Sango wasn't with her. The little kit looked at the others. [ooc: I figured I would go ahead and bring Kirara into the thread so we can get everyone moving to the castle.]

Koto rose as Kirara appeared in the sky. His gaze paused on Hotaru and after a little bit, she rose. Once she nodded to him, he scooped Rin into his arms. Glancing over at Stian, he grunted. "Can you bring Masato, Touga and Miroku?" He knew stian had been a bit disgruntled being ordered but he hoped by asking the cat, he would agree to do so. He glanced at Hotaru. "Be careful My Lady."
Inuyasha watched Kagome. Finally, he turned with a growl. He watched Kouga and Keita take off together and scoffed. As if that wolf would actually be able to find Naraku. He patiently waited, feeling Shippo on his shoulder. All he knew was that when he got ahold of Sango, he was going to strangle her. He froze as suddenly a weary Kirara appeared. She looked warn out and practically out of it. There had been a battle. She definitely would need rest. Jumping up, he caught her as she started to collapse. Holding her close, he smelt the scent of Naraku and growled. The b*****d had a pack member. He growled low and handed Kirara's smaller form to Shippo. "Protect Kirara runt. Kagome, we are going now!"Hotaru watched the darkness surround Rin but within moments, the potion went to work. To her pleasant surprise, she watched a pink barrier appear around Rin. Excellent, Rin's miko abilities were helping. Leaning forward, she gently kissed her forehead. "Stay strong little bird. Soon you'll fly once more." She rose, nodding to Koto to come forward. Gently touching Kagome's shoulder, she gave her a small smile. "You did well." Turning, she witnessed what was happening. Her eyes flashed. It was Masato's words that stalled her. Masato was right. There was no specific reasoning in her mind for Naraku to want the two. Were they indeed walking into a trap? A deep shiver raced down her spine. This wasn't good. As Rusty spoke, she moved forward. Koto was already taking off to the village, no doubt Stian and the others behind him somehow, someway. "Hold it wolf." She was looking directly at Rusty as she spoke, Kouga and Keita already gone. "Masato was right. No one knows why they were taken or what their purpose was. As far as we know, this is a trap and he is expecting us all. We follow the trail but we must not attack. Someone needs to go after Kouga and inform him of this. Unless you wish to forfeit your life for stupidity, then you would heed my warning." Her gaze focused on each and every one of them.

Kagome Higurashi Kagome looked over at Tsuki as she approached her and when the wolf demon asked her if they could talk privately after this was all over she gave a small nod before saying, "Yeah sure." She smiled slightly to the female wolf demon before looking over as Shippo pointed out that Kirara had returned. Kagome watched as Inuyasha caught Kirara and then handed her to Shippo to protect she became slightly worried. Where was Sango? Sango and Kirara were inseperable, the only time that Kirara left Sango's side was when she was told to by Sango or she had no other choice to go get help. Kagome looked at Inuyasa as he told her that they were going and it wasn't polite in the slightest. She reluctantly climbed onto his back and when she was secure on his back she said, "Don't you dare talk to me like that again Inuyasha." She would have said 'sit' but they needed to go and save Sango. As much as she was angry with Inuyasha she would have to deal with that another time.
