Go Shikigami!  Masato glanced at Kurama, his thoughts clicked in realization. It was true, it had been a long day for all of them. He walked on over to Kurama, Myoga had fled once more from sight. Wherever that flea went was a mystery to him, their conversation together had died down short. That small youkai may have some business to take care of or something. His attention to Inuyasha surprised him, he guessed that he wasn't as stubborn as he thought. Everyone had agreed to stay for the night, at least it would help them recuperate till the following morning. Inuyasha had left the scene, catching up on some sleep for the big trip tomorrow. Hotaru had left to go after Toga, the rest seemed to stick around the village a while longer. For Masato, he was hungry since time had passed for some dinner.
Ever since Masato came to Feudal Japan, he was beginning to understand some things. Youkai and people, they were different and some shared similarities. There always seems to be conflict between the two, he guess it was the nature how they lived. There was a missing piece he needed, he hoped it wouldn't be long to find it. He rummaged his pocket for his cell phone, flipping the lid to learn about the time. Just as he thought, it was late and there had been no signal ever since he got here. Storing the device away, his next mission was to find some food in this village. He looked at Kurama. "Are you getting a bit hungry, Kurama?" Some talk would keep him busy, they may actually find something around here. Location - Kaede's Village.

•Power?: Suppressed "I have been alone for as long as I can remember...why should I start trusting now?" ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ "Get to sleep. We leave at dawn." Touga heard Inuyasha call back to the others as his scent seemed to come his way, the boy cringed as he could soon smell the older half-demon directly below him, he held his breath and tensed up fearfully, but then after a moment the other walked away to go find another tree to sleep in. It took the pup a moment to realize that Inuyasha's scent lingers on this tree...was this his tree? Touga grimaced, of all the trees that he had to pick, he had to randomly climb a marked tree of the other half-demons. He swallowed warily and watched the other hanyou walk off, considering leaving to find somewhere else to sleep. His stomach growled again. He ignored it.
A pebble then thunked into the tree branch under him, making him jump and very nearly fall off the branch he was sitting on, growling he dug his claws into the bark to stay on. He leaned over to look down far below at a Fox demon motioning to a pair of squirrels. "Do you know how to cook these?" The fox woman asked, he arched his brows at the choice of meat, squirrels generally don't have much meat on them, they are mostly fluff and brittle bones, sort of why he generally doesn't hunt them much unless he is really desperate. If anything they have enough meat to squer on a stick to roast. A snack if anything else. "Skin them, peel the meat off the bone and wrap it on some sticks to roast, shouldn't take more then 5 minutes if the fire is hot enough." He did not know that she was offering them to him, though he frankly didn't know why a full grown demon was asking him cooking tips. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇

•Mine?: A wide variety of herbs and Mekai plants "You should never corner an animal such as a fox...we have a tendency to show our fangs" ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ After Hotaru agreed to it she said that she would sent a guide to them and left to go talk to the boy who seemed even more distant after the drama of the night. One of the wolf demons then immiediatly stated that he could carry all of them to the southern lands, boasting that he big enough in his true form to carry everyone, that his wolves can keep up with him and eager to get going. Kurama smiled chidingly at this man, "Save your strength, the matter is decided. You should go get some food and rest." As if as an echo of his words Inuyasha barked at everyone to sleep and that they head out in the morning. Kurama watched as Inuyasha moved away to go be alone with his thoughts.
People began to move about either to go hunting or to go find a spot to settle and sleep. It was clear to Kurama that out of everyone here, Inuyasha, himself, and Kouga were definitely going, but not everyone can go. He did not yet know of this Naraku, he has hears some things about him through rumors but he did not know the dept of his evil how how much he and these people despise one another. Kurama moved off to the river to go fishing, the evening twilight bouncing off his silver fur, he waded off into the waters and moved his hands into the river waiting for some trout. He soon caught 2 or 3 good size fish and tossed them onto the ground in answer to Masako's question about food. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇

 As Inuyasha dozed, he dreamed about Kagome. She was trapped in place that he was finding it difficult to get to. There was a dark mist that separated both of them. No matter what he did, he couldn't get ahold of her. Suddenly, he was in a field and Kagome was there. She was chained and the chains seemed to disappear into the ground. He tried getting to her but he wasn't able to help her. "Please Inuyasha. Please don't come after me. I don't want to see you die." He stopped, frozen. Shaking his head, he pulled tessaiga. "I'm coming Kagome! Don't you dare tell me not to. Whoever took will die! I'll make sure of it. I won't loose you. Not now, not ever. You're my mate! Not his!" He thought he was still dreaming. he didn't realize that Kagome would be able to hear his words. His eyes glistened with tears. "You're my mate Kagome! Mine." His voice had softened to almost a whisper. Outside where people could see, all they could tell was that he was twitching every so often and his hand was resting on Tessaiga.

Angel_Arianas In Inuyasha's dream, he kept trying to get to Kagome but couldn't. He paused when she spoke though. "He has dozens of servants and one has taken on your appearance but you shouldn't have a problem with them. Please if you insist on coming please promise me that you'll be careful. I love you Inuyasha." A blush immediately came to his face. How was it that Kagome could even speak to him? Was this really even his Kagome? Was it a copy? He looked into her eyes and suddenly absolutely knew it was her. "I will find you Kagome, no matter what. I promise I will do everything I can to get you back to my side. That is all I can promise." Suddenly he watched her begin to fade. He reached out to her but she completely faded before him. He was waking up. As Inuyasha opened his eyes, his hand clenched around Tessaiga. He would find Kagome. He would keep the promise he made to her. As soon as he got her back by his side, he would make her his mate permanently. He wasn't going to wait for Naraku to be defeated. He wouldn't let Kagome down again.

Go Shikigami! Masato had followed after Kurama, this new appearance was interesting unlike his human-like form. Questioningly, when did he begin this transformation? Recalling from the afternoon, the last time he had been his regular self was before going after Inuyasha. He didn't act any different, perhaps this was his true form? This was the first time that he had seen Kurama change, not that he mind of this new look he expressed. Following after Kurama, they shortly arrived at a river. Once he found himself a tree, he rested against the base while watching Kurama catch some fish. A few swipes had pushed out the trout onto the bank, they flip and whirled around. The amount was decent, 3 fish were plentiful unless he would have to fetch some more for the whole group. Pulling himself up, he wandered over to the trout and crouched at the dying creatures. "These seem pretty tasty, can't wait to have a bite." His stomach grumbled, anyone close enough would hear the sounds of hunger.
Masato grasped the fins of each trout, they have subsided of their struggle that they have finally passed on. Looking back at Kurama while he rose to his feet. "Let's start cook some of these when you get out!" He called out, waving the trout around in his hand, drops of water had landed on his face in the process. With the sleeve of his jacket carefully wiping away from his eyes, he was ready to take off with the food that his friend caught. He stood there patiently for him to get out of the water. With sundown falling down towards dusk, the moon had appeared briefly. It was relaxing, all the danger disappeared all at once. Concentrated on the scenery, his mind had gone blank and forget this day of struggle. It wasn't long till a small light appeared behind him, his eyes detract and follow this glow. The shifting of his head drawn him down to the ground where he stood. His eyes examined every inch of dirt, a small trail that his sight moved towards the dying glistened rays.
Two arctic white foxes, both shared similarities of his faded companion. Embedded on their foreheads seemed to be a small tattoo, both bear great resemblance of each other. Where have these small creatures come from? It wasn't long before they bounced around him, seemingly chasing each other around Masato. Each cry they made may gather attention if they act simultaneously, it was out of his control with his hands occupied. Their ears twitch, one washed its face while the other sniffed the air around them. Both their heads were alert, shaking in each direction till they face back towards the village. Their instinctual calls had beckoned to him, it was though he understood what they were saying. Their tails swishing side to side, waiting for both individuals to make a move. He turned to Kurama who was still standing in the flowing vein of the river. "Hey Kurama, seems these foxes want us to follow them." Pointing out the behavior, they waited a few feet from Masato.Location - Kaede's Village, near the river
Action - Gathering trout, eying the Shikigami.
Conversation - Kurama

He was just wading back to dry ground when Masako pointed out the two white foxes, the kid seemed to attract shikigami, and curiously foxes of all things. He says that they seem to want them to follow the pair. Kurama gazed at the two foxes, he supposed that what ever it is that they want shouldn't be much of a deal, he toss the trout he had caught over by his herbs and indication that they are his and are not for anyone else to have. "Okay, lets go see what they want." He waited for the foxes to lead the way and would follow. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇

Kino smiled. "Good." She left the squirrels on the ground near the tree. Her head jerked to the trees and she quickly transformed to her fox form, bounding into the trees. There was a rustle of leaves and she emerged in her human form, holding a raccoon by its tail. This would be better than a few measly squirrels, since he won't eat with everyone else.. She set it down next to the squirrels and looked up again. "It's here if you feel comfortable with cooking it." She bent down and placed her hand on the grass. A small flame sprung up, big enough to cook meat, but it wouldn't spread to the forest. She stood and started walking to Kaede's hut. Tsuki showed up next to her. Kino smiled. "I hate it when you do that." Tsuki waved at her sister's comment. She was watchign Sango. "Do you think she owns the shards?" Kino shook her head. "I keep forgetting you're still so naive about things." She ruffled Tsuki's hair, getting a growl from the wolf. "She's a demon slayer. The girl they want to rescue had them earlier. Rusty says she's a miko of some kind. She looks like Kikyo, so I'm assuming they belong to her. Why?" Tsuki looked at the ground. "I've been having weird sensations from my shard. When I thought about giving it to the girl, it started burning. But at home I felt like I wanted to give it up. Like I should. Like it would help defeat Naraku." She sighed.
Rusty was leaned against the side of Kaede's hut, looking at the stars with his hands behind his head. He smiled as Tsuki and Kino approached. "You two should get some sleep. We have to figure out who is staying and who is going." Tsuki sat next to him, and Kino transformed into her black fox form, curling up next to Tsuki and resting her head on the wolf's leg. Tsuki gently pet Kino's head and rested hers against the wall of the hut. Rusty smiled at his sisters and stretched, returning his hands behind his head. He watched Masato and Kurama, noting the foxes. Looks like Kino when she's white.. He shrugged and went back to looking at the stars and the moon.

As the sky began to lighten, Inuyasha's ears perked forward. Opening his, eyes, he remained sitting for the time being. It was morning. Finally, leaping down he headed back toward the hut. As he reached it, he spoke loudly. "Alright! Who's going?" He had his arms in his sleeves. He knew that Koga would most likely be going. "Not all of us can go. Some of us need to stay here just in case that b*****d Naraku shows up."
At that moment, Inuyasha smelled the wolf. Looking over, he caught sight of the black wolf. He wasn't even sure how the damn wolf got in there. He growled darkly. The wolf moved forward, settling down. It immediately informed him that he was the guide to lead them to the southern lands. Disgruntled now Inuyasha looked around at the others.(It is morning time for everyones knowledge.)

•Power?: Suppressed "I have been alone for as long as I can remember...why should I start trusting now?" ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ As it turned out, the squirells were his to decide to cook up and eat, the fox had gone to get a fat raccoon as well then made a magical fox fire for him to use to cook with before leaving him alone. He considered the kills for a few minutes, well its either he dress and cook the meat or let it rot under this tree. Might as well not waste them. He eventually dropped out of the tree to rig a few sturdy sticks and using a weaving of air to create a skinning knife forged from air he soon skinned the critters and set the skins aside, he could either use the skins or sell them in the market for some coin. He considered doing the latter. The boy then set to the bloody job of removing the meat from the bones, tossing the bones of the smaller critters into the flames to be burned down to ash, he tossed the skulls in, not interested in the eyes, tongues or brains of the creatures. In some way that is like sending their spirits off by burning the heads whole. He kept the hearts as they are the best part of the carcasses. Pretty soon he speared each of the meat on a stick and tied them on with the intestints. 20 minutes later he had a fairly good size meal of protein. After he had cleaned his claws, he willed the flames to go out and climbed the tree again to snooze the rest of the night away.
By next morning, Touga awoke with the morning rays of dawn, he had a crick in his back and neck from snoozing up in the tree, he blinked several times to wake up then yawned, flashing his pointy little fangs. He leaned forward on the branch letting his legs dangle on either side of it and dug his claws into the bark bunching up his shoulders to stretch, little pops wrinkled up his spine and from his knees. The pup finished up the stretch by jerked his head from side to side, shaking his hair out of his face, and cracking his neck at the same time. Only then did he roll out of the tree with a yelp and hit the ground with a thump! "Owww....note to self why I don't often sleep in trees..." he grumbled and stood, letting out another yawn. Rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, he relieved himself and ate the other half of the raccoon from last night.
He heard Inuyasha in the old priestesses house, it sounds as though he is not the only early bird. Touga walked to the hut, having made up his mind and is willing to put aside his wariness of the crazy hanyou, and butt heads with him on the matter if the idea of a pup going is against it. He heard the immiediate question of who is going, something about a 'Naraku' probably another enemy as they have to stay to defend the village from this other foe. There was a new scent of another wolf, it indicated that it was to be their guide to the south. Touga squared his shoulders and finally spoke up with determination in his voice, he had been more or less dubbed a wimp by these people or at least by Inuyasha. He was determined to prove him wrong.

" I'll avenge my comrades with my own hands!"  a n y w a y s ;
Before he could do to move much at all, one of the three siblings had already made their way over to him and begun healing him. With a smile when it was finished he looked towards his wolves that were being looked at by the wolves of Tsuki and Rusty himself. His wolves would have bowed their heads slightly as a sign of respect. His smile continued thanks to his wolves and he now stood up with a stretch. Even though Inuyasha had commanded it, Koga stood awake along with Rusty watching the area around them. Koga did not need to sleep, although he did need to eat occasionally. But sleep was not needed at all times for him to keep moving as if nothing was wrong. When morning had finally arrived Koga simply looked around waiting for the others to wake up. Inuyasha had woken up first and questioned who was going.
" You already know that I'm going. I refuse to let that b*****d take Kagome." spoke Koga as he moved towards the black wolf that had arrived as if ready to follow. It was then that he split his wolves. Five of his wolves would accompany them as the other thirty wolves stayed and guarded the hut.

 Sango, The Demon Slayer Sango knew that someone would have to keep the two from killing each other over Kagome but she knew that they couldn't leave this world completely unprotected. With a small sigh she glanced between the two before walking over to the wolf and said, "I'm coming too to make sure these two air heads don't kill each other." Of course she wanted to save Kagome but these two would have to make it there alive first. She shifted her hiraikotsu upon her shoulder before she glanced to the two, as if challenging them to argue with her. Anyways Miroku was still here and Shippo would have to stay, the other world was far too dangerous for a child. She glanced to Kirara, contemplating whether or not her companion should go, without Kagome there Inuyasha could carry her on his back, she really was hesitant to leave this world with just Miroku and Shippo here to defend it.

 Gramps had taken shelter for the night in Kaede's hut along with Lorelai. His granddaughter Lorelai still felt weak and sick to her stomach from the after-effects of the poison, even after Kurama had purged the poison from her body. Gramps was patiently tending to her by spoon feeding her broth and pieces of bread in the hopes something to eat would help to settle her stomach. He didn't even look away from his task as he added in his opinion, "Since so many people are heading into the shadow world, perhaps I'd better stay behind to help protect the village in case this Naraku fellow shows up. From what I keep hearing about him, he sounds like bad news. Anyway, Lori-chan needs looking after. I can't just leave her like this or I wouldn't be fit to call myself her grandfather." Gramps frowned in concern as Lorelai's stomach gave an audible upset rumble, causing the red-headed girl to grimace in pain as she clutched at her stomach with a groan. Gramps cast a helpless and pleading look around at everyone inside the hut. "I'm afraid my knowledge of medicine is limited. Does anyone know of a remedy that can help calm her stomach and help Lori-chan recover her strength?"

Rusty looked at Inuyasha. "I'm going. You guys at least need someone who can't fall." He grinned goofily. He wasn't trying to be cocky, it was just his nature to state blunt truths. He wouldn't be killed, by anything, and they needed that advantage against Takahashi. Tsuki nodded. "I want to go. I need to figure out why my shard has been acting so strange." She rubbed her forehead gently. She looked at her wolves, then the wolves that Koga had chosen to stay. She touched one of her wolves on the forehead. "Stay. Help Koga's wolves protect this village. Be kind to the villagers. We don't want any trouble." The silvery-black wolf nodded and looked to the group of Koga's pack. He turned to Tsuki's pack and let out a small yip. The group soon, slowly, moved to Koga's pack. They were trying to get familiar with the other pack, in case they did have to work together. Trust was needed. The temporary leader of Tsuki's pack would have seeked out the temporary leader for this group and tried to make a pact of some kind.
Kino stood, debating. She looked confused. "I'd like to go. Being a healer, it would be easier to keep all of you fighting if I was there.. But a child.." Her voice trailed off as the old man spoke. She walked over and placed her hand on Lori's stomach. The girl would have felt warmth, and after a second or two, the pain would go away. "She should be alright for now. If you can make and broth and get her conscious enough to drink it, that will help. No spice. Only herbs if you can." She gently put her hand on Lori's head. The girl didn't seem to have a fever, so Kino relaxed a little. She turned back. "If enough people are staying, then I'll go. Quick healing will definitely be useful in the Shadow Realm. Then, Hotaru knows more about this place than anyone. I'll ask her if my power will be useful in such a place. If not, I'll return here." She noted the confusion on Sango's face. "Are you alright?"
Shippo looked around. Everyone was deciding to stay or go. He wanted to help save Kagome, but he knew he would probably get in the way. He half expected people to tell him to stay. He sat next to the old man, the grandfather of the red-haired girl, waiting to be told what to do.

As Gramps saw Lorelai's complexion visibly improve somewhat, he smiled widely at Kino and gratefully bowed his head in her direction. "I'm forever in your debt for helping my dear granddaughter. And...I may have a tendency to accidentally cause destructive mishaps when cooking, but I did find a few villagers who were willing to help." As if on cue, a small boy came into the hut carrying a bowl of broth his mother had made for the invalid. Gramps sniffed appreciatively at the broth and took note of the stewed herbs in it. "Ah, that's exactly what the doctor ordered. Thank your mother for me, won't you lad?" As the boy put down the bowl, Gramps ruffled the boy's hair in thanks and placed a freshly made wooden top in the boy's hand. "Thanks again, lad. Here's a reward for your efforts." The boy gave Gramps an ecstatic grin in return and hugged him around the middle. "Thanks, mister!" Gramps chuckled to himself as he watched the boy practically skipping as he left the hut and returned his attention to his granddaughter. Her stomach cramps left over from the poison had gone, but since she'd had them all night she was left feeling too tired and weak to lift so much as a finger at the moment. Gramps took up the task of feeding Lorelai where he'd left off, only this time he spoon fed her the broth Kino had recommended. As he patiently kept up his task until the bowl was emptied, he suddenly noticed Shippo sitting next to him and gave the boy a warm smile. "Why hello there, lad. I'm guessing you're a full blooded fox like myself. I'm afraid I've forgotten my name since it hasn't been in use for a very long time, so I'm afraid I can't introduce myself properly. However, you're welcome to call me Gramps, Grampa, Old Man...whatever you like." He chuckled in good humor as he introduced Lorelai who was dozing at the moment, "This is me darlin' granddaughter, Lori-chan. What's your name, lad?" Lorelai's grimace finally relaxed as the pain in her stomach went away. She managed to look up at Kino and gave her a weak smile as she spoke in a voice just barely above a whisper, "Thank you...I think I'll be able to eat something now. Will I be able to digest anything more solid anytime soon?" Lorelai had begun to doze off once the broth was finished, but at the mention of her name, she lazily opened one eye and managed a small smile at the little fox kit. She mumbled a sleepy, "H'llo,nice to meetcha" before her eye closed and she dozed off again.
