“What?” Wilson called back to Ryan. Slowly, he got to his knees and then began to stand back on his feet. He turned around to face the moon trainee, but the warning came too late. The tentacle smashed into Wilson and he slid across the ice with a soft thud. “Ow…” hissed the trainee, annoyed at last with the creature. Frowning, he brought up both cannons and unleashed a small cloud of gas upon it.

Ofelia made her way over to a harpoon, not sure if it was the same one from before, and smashed her weapon against it. Rue practically sobbed as the charge was drained away from her but the sun trainee didn't care and she flopped down beside the weapon, wheezing.
She'd stand here and protect the harpoon, that was to be her story if anyone asked about it. Mostly she was just wondering what would happen now, would everyone make it out of this okay? Ofelia had used both her charges and four tentacles still waved themselves though the air and slapped around at her companions.
Sushi sounded kind of tasty at the moment.

Ami noticed one girl was practically bombarded by tentacles. s**t. Could they not keep themselves safe for two seconds?
Just as a tentacle was about to strike, Ami slid in front of Ofelia with Junpei spread out horizontally in front of her. The slimy tentacle met with glowing metal, and rebounded backwards.
"OY," she yelled at the brash hunter trainee, "Keep it together! Dead hunters don't help anyone!"

She laughed again.

He stared at Clerise as she ran up to him to help him out. He kind of grinned at her his vision not too clear but he could hit things still, honest, "I'm gon' be okay, Lady," he said with his voice switching in odd octaves.
As if to prove a point he turned and smacked the Harpoon he'd hit earlier, "See?! Shake'n'Bake and I helped!"
...Yeah.. He's gonna be awesome.

Robert ripped open Allan's bandages and placed them very carefully in Jude's hair.
It is well documented that hair does not need bandages, and thus, the bandages did not work very well.

This was a tentacle trying to kill them all, and possibly get curious on them. And Leon could overhear Rep talking about linens.
Yep, Leon was sure that the first one that monster was going to poke was going to be the ginger. "Rep you stay the hell away from me and you'd better gain some aim fast!" he barked out in the best army voice he could muster under the pressure and swung again at another tentacle, the appendage severed and convulsed on the floor.
Like a headless chicken that couldn't run. it could still latch its suckers n his leg and leave a nice mark before the boxer could smash it to pieces with the blunt back of his weapon.

Candace went flying, and Harrison moved in with another body block.
Maybe it was less baseball and more hockey.
He looked at her feet.
"I'll get you to a harpoon," Harrison said. Better not to treat the tentacles like things that were actually stabbable, and the whole thing like a really shitty obstacle course.

Eva tried not to focus on anything else but the instinctive need to fight back and protect themselves. Whether H was somehow alive or whether he was dead, she didn't know, but the fact of the matter was that it would do them no good to dwell on such a thing right now. Gritting her teeth, she summoned Chara and swept out at one of the tentacles, slashing her blade against the soft flesh.
Needless to say, the creature was not pleased by the attack. She hardly had any time to react when she a slender tentacle came flying at her, striking her in the stomach and sending her flying back.
She hit the ground hard, but tried to push herself to her feet almost immediately despite the fact that she was feeling rather winded. She would be a sitting duck if she just sat here. She had to keep moving.

Candace felt..surprisingly fine. Well, in a manner of speaking. She felt fine in that she could keep fighting, she felt fine enough to kick this thing's a** 'til Kingdom come. Other than that she felt like s**t. Complete. And utter. s**t.
Why him?
Sniffing again, Candace coughed in an attempt to cover up a sob. "Ye-yes...butfirst.." Narrowed eyes turned up toward an approaching tentacle, one that she jumped at using Harrison for support. Her hands were on his shoulders as she pushed up, lifting a leg to slice both blades against the tentacle. Said tentacle backed off without so much as a slap back in Candace's direction.
"O..okay...takemenowplease."

As if to make use of his new found health he charged forward (more like lurched) to smack a nearby tentacle. Apparently the more wounded he got the more reckless he became. The tentacle swung back and hit him in a return swing. He kind of stood there swaying heavily but not yet out.
Ohhh did his everything hurt now.
