Nar-Shaddaa Sith Base

A pair of icy blue eyes opened, hearing a male's voice calling out. She gives out a gasp of air rolling on her side, feeling the presence of someone in the room. The Light Side of the Force brightens around the individual who walks into the room, Cari's eyes follow the Je'dai for moment, not believing he was real until she could hear his voice calling out to her.

"I am here, over here!." She yells, scooting forward towards him, each movement sending a wave of pain up her spine. She bites down on her lower lip, drawing blood in order to not scream. Her icy stare filled with pain, hurt and lose but she remains focused on the Je'daii. Her torn, scratched, and tattered tunic body inches forward.

"Master, I am here..I am here.." She whispers hoping he could see or at least hear her from the growling Sith. The young padawan continues to wiggle her way forward, wrist bound with the buzzing shackles, but she wanted to get out of this miserable place, that brought her pain. Pain, agony, and dread filled her dreams if she fell asleep. The Sith kept using their dark arts on her mind.

She stops seeing the black hooded Sith crowd the Je'daii, she couldn't see him, just the Light Side of the Force that surrounded him; but her strength was failing her quickly. She stumbles forward, head hitting the ground with a small "thud." Sweat falls from her brows, she was close to him but the pain had did its toll on her. Darkness crept over her view like a blanket, shadows roam over her as the sound of light sabers clash and spark.

" I am behind the crowd master!" She yells as loud as her lungs would allow, before a dark hooded figure walked right up on her, knelled down and waved a dark glove in front of her eyes in a circular motion, "Sleep.." the voice whispers. Her eyes instantly fluttering, head bobbing up and down, once again under the influence of the Sith. She tries to fight the Sith Lord's use of the Dark Side, but it was in vain. His influence proved to be greater than her will power, and she fell into a deep sleep under his command.

Nar Shadda - Cantina

A'kire heard the voice speaking, and glanced towards it's source. She saw the Togruta male and narrowed her eyes as she advanced towards him cautiously. His petty comments had no effect on her. In fact, they almost made her laugh when she heard them. Not wanting to make any hint at her true purpose being there, the twi'lek decided to play coy, and see what would unfold.

"You couldn't possibly mean me. Surely, you must be mistaken."

She slowly moved over to the seat the man had gestured at and sat down slowly. Her eyes scanned his face up and down, searching for his intention.

"My name's A'kire. I suppose it's...strange of me to say, but I usually do not hear such things. Might I ask who you are?"

A'kire had noticed the fight, and was intent to study the actions, but for now she had other matters to deal with. All would come in time.

Elyria blocked the Bounty Hunters blast and deftly sent it ricocheting off the walls and back in his direction. The ping of blaster fire against durasteel echoed thru the hallway. Enemies on all sides, Canis embroiled in battle with a young cyborg Sith and Kitel in search of the small child's voice calling out to them . . .she called on the Force and felt it flow through her renewing her from within, the Mission, her Padawans - all this came first and foremost to her mind, she would fight to the end if need be for the Je'daii - no - for the entire Galaxy!

Lord Rahl's appearance sent shivers down his spine.
"I will not fail you, my Lord."
What was folly, however, was how distracting it was. He succumbed to searing pain of the Je'daii's lightsaber grazing his midsection and he winced as the Force Lightning made contact. Staggering back up, he pointed at the Je'daii Elryia stone and boomed
"You're in the presence of the Emperor now... You have improved since our last brawl... But directly attacking me here, in this Dark place will be your final mistake!"
Laughing at the chaos around him, he used force speed and came in screeching towards Elryia with his lightsaber, following through with a Spear of Midnight Black.

Sith Base- prison cell

Lowrak was about to disorient the guards when he saw Jri-den, dammit, jri-den, wasn't expecting you to come as well, he then heard Cari calling for him, she apparently thought Jri-den was him so he lept into action with his lightsaber iginited, "Jri-den, let us dispatch these followers of the Sith quickly, I feel the young lady here is in trouble", he could feel the presence of a Sith with Cari and he called out to her, 'HANG IN THERE, CARI, MY FELLOW JED'AII AND I ARE HERE TO HELP AND TO THE SITH THAT IS WITH HER, LEAVE HER ALONE, SHE IS ONE OF US!" He made quick work of some of the soldiers and checked to see how Jri-den was doing

Nar Shadaa Cantina

A playful smile painted itself upon his lips once she had told him her name and how rarely she was complimented "Now milady A'kire I have the hardest time believing a woman as lovely as yourself rarely receives a compliment." he slid off his stool and bowed slightly "I am Davth, of the Terva clan, at your service." he ran a hand down along his sash clan sash hanging from his belt as if he felt she doubted his story.

He retook his seat and turned to speak to his guest once again "So if I may be so bold as to ask what brings you to a dingy place like this?" With a brief pause he looked for the bar tender tossing up two fingers and then making a motion as if he was throwing back a shot glass, stealing a glance or two at the twi'lek in the process.

Nar Shadaa Cantina

K20 knew, now was the time to open fire, making sure he had a good position, he took aim at the Sith's knee....

then fired.

A blue laser bolt flew out of the barrel and towards the Sith...

K20 knew the Sith might deflect the laser... but he was in a good position.. so he began to think this was unlikely...

Nar Shaddaa - Sith Base

Jri-den nodded as he fought his way through the Sith. It was far easier now that he had someone to back him up. Together, they would slay the Sith before them and rescue the imprisoned girl. At least, that's what he had planned on. What he didn't plan on, however, was the fact that Nar Shaddaa had powerful Force aura surrounding it, and that aura only made his visions harder to fight off. Just as he was about to block a saber strike from an enemy, a quick vision flashed into his head that put him in the shoes of the Jedi whose lightsaber he wielded, and his apparent opponent was another Jedi-looking person. In that brief moment, he lost his focus and his block was rendered almost completely ineffective. The Sith had the opening he needed to kick back Jri-den to the duri-steel wall. Jri-den coughed and grunted in pain as he tried to recover and rebound back into the fight.

Nar Shadda - Cantina

"Believe it, Davth. I do not go fishing for compliments. I tend to stay to myself, so hearing such things is often times a surprise."

She gently pushed one of her lekku aside as she studied the man's actions. He seemed to be enjoying his drinks here. Perhaps if gotten intoxicated enough, she would be able to get more out of him. For now, she would wait patiently, indulging in this man's questions.

"It may be dingy, but this moon is my home. It has been for quite some time. You learn to love the slums and make do with what you have." She said with a sly smile. "I also have a habit of studying others to see how they interact. Like those two still fighting. One will lose soon. He doesn't have much left in him."

She glanced around the cantina once more before her eyes met his.

"So what might you be doing in this slum?"

Narr Shadaa-Merchant District-  Near Cantina

Stokhli  sighed as he wandered to the cantina. Back on  his species home planet tattoine, the sensitive nose of a jawa was supposed to be a survival trait. Smell a squallk, get dinner.  Smell a sand person, run for the barge.  Easy right?Heck, half of the jawan language was smell alone! But here... Ugh, his respirator did little  to mask the smell of various smokes, fluids, and stinks in the bar. People said he stunk too. Which was true,  he supposed, ...but it was a good stink.
He glanced around, taking in the atmosphere, if one could call it that. "At least it's  crowded..." he thought.  "If I'm going to be waiting a while,  I may as well be comfortable doing it. Maybe get a drink? No, I can already hear the master scolding me..."  Tapping his wrist link, he called up the recorded image of the item in question, a small box covered in various wire patterns.  "A...holocron, huh?"  he knew technically  the box itself was next to worthless. It was the information on it that mattered.   He guessed that meant  he not only needed to find the thing, but he needed to make sure it was still in working condition.
He  chuckled. The irony was not lost on him.  Getting a jawa to find lost tech? Wow,  what a concept !  Suddenly he stopped.  That scent......  Hesitantly, he removed his respirator to smell around before quickly putting it back on. The ozone like  smell of an active light saber. The smell of burning fabric, skin.  The gas of a blaster bolt. A fight!  How many people?  Two? No, three. Five? Bah!  This is why he hated cantinas, all the smells just mixed together! Use the force? Dark.  lots of dark!  Sith! His thoughts seemed to skip rapidly as his instincts took over. Quickly grabbing the dark grey, curved handle of one of his lightsabers, he  dashed towards the bar.

Nar Shaddaa - cantina

Kad reached out with the Force, he could feel Master Endar off to the side watching his back. he needed to deal with this petty sith quickly. drawn out fights were never a good thing. Kad could also sense things were getting rough with the rest of the team, Master Stone and the others were in deep with enemies strong in the Dark side.

Nar-Shaddaa- Sith Base

The Sith's yellow eyes gleamed, within their reflection the young padawan was starting to stir. Her closed eyes slowly opening, her hands twitching as her fingers grab onto the cold, dusty ground. The Sith heard heard the Je'daii's words, and smirked. He was not needed here, he did his job; now it was time for the child to decide what path she wanted to be on. He stood up, and calmly walked away from Cari and into another back hallway, leaving the fight to the other followers of the Dark Side.

****
Cari woke up, once again, blinking her eyes repeatedly. She remembered a voice calling out to her, "Hang in there!" "Master, master is that you?" She asks narrowing her eyes just to see two blurry figures standing in the middle of dark hooded figures. She bites down on her bottom lip, feeling pain shoot up from her side.. She gives out a yell and places her head back down on the ground instantly holding the injured wound. She didn't realize that when the Sith Lord fought her, his light saber managed to do small red cuts on her side. Now, all of them burned at once.

"Yes, Master. I am hanging in there..just a bit sore and my side burns with many small light saber cuts, but I am still alive." She yells to the Je'daii masters.

Shocked by the savagery of his attack (obviously trying to impress the Emperor) Elyria was able to get a Force armor up in time to block the spear of midnight black but she had turned slightly so he caught her with his lightsaber
searing her side, the smell of burning cloth and flesh was pungent in the air. Grabbing her side, she staggered backwards, his speed knocking her into the wall behind her. Luckily the lightsaber cauterized the wound so there was no major blood loss, but she felt its wrath. *gasping* "You've greatly improved Atrure - drawing on the old Masters I see."
"Rahl - you should be proud - your lapdog turns out to be a Doberman!"
Drawing up thru the power of the Force and sheer willpower of her own she regained her balance and struck a defensive pose awaiting the young Sith's next attack

Nar Shaddaa - Cantina

The togruta seemed shocked at her answer about never receiving a compliment

"Come now, it's not fishing if one simply states a fact my dear. Now if you were to have walked over to me and asked how you looked or complained about some small minor thing. That would be fishing dear. The compliment's I give are mere observations. "

He nodded his head as she told him more about the slums, he hadn't figured her for a resident, perhaps just slumming it for a night. His eyes drifted back to the fight watching them go back and forth.

"Well clearly it can not all be bad, especially since it is your home." he smiled at her before gesturing towards the padawan and sith "Well if you are interested I've got twenty credits on the boy with the silver glow sword." he chuckled at his little joke.

'Ooooh eye contact eh.' he thought as they locked eyes, he hid his dissatisfaction at her only asking why he was in the slums. "Well you see that dead guy?" he asked gesturing towards the dead togruta on the floor. "He was an old friend of mine, not worth his weight in bantha fodder but he on ocassion has something interesting to say."
