Loths DND 3.5 Gestalt Campaign

Jareth was stuck in a quandary. He wasn't much of a climber....but he had to get down there somehow. And he didn't have any real levitation powers that could help him do so. He had to think for a minute. At least there wasn't anything trying to kill them yet, for what he could sense. That was something.

K-Rock, you are able to see from the ledge that from where you are it is an easy climb and on the bottom of the hole is a tunnel leading away.  

[Arc Vembris]

"Yo! Got a cave-hole at a-bottom. I'ma get down."

One way or another.

Success you are now in the bottom of the pit near the tunnel.

Jareth decided to take his time and try to climb down after K-rock. They needed to get down there. He could climb a little. but not a whole lot. He would have to make sure he kept his grip. lords know if he fell it wouldn't feel good.

You almost fall but you catch yourself and make it down.

K-Rock wasn't watching. He heads into the cave, watching for doormen or eyeballs or crawling hands or whatever.

Jareth managed to get down OK. There were a couple of close calls though. "Next time... bring rope." he said to himself as he went after K-rock. He must have gone ahead. He wondered where their lady companion went. surely she followed them.

The cave walls are dotted with blue rocks that emit a soft glow when you get near them allowing you to see. eventually you come across a fork in the cave.

Jareth wondered for a moment what kind of crystals these were. He hadn't seen their like outside his Psionics research. He had a feeling they were just light adsorbing geodes or something. It was then he noticed the fork that they had come to. "Well......which way, which way." he said, pondering the very same question.

"This way, berk." K-Rock goes left.

As you travel down the left path the smell of rotting meat becomes apparent, twenty feat in front of you the glowing crystals are duller and almost no light is shining past thirty feat.

K-Rock don't need no light, he got darkvision
