Alex caught the glance, the look of longing, on Danny's face when he handed Yin the loliglop. He glanced down at the other in his hand, knowing full well that he still had at least half of his tickets and could always buy himself another one. He was just about to offer the candy to the ghoul when she excused herself and took off to sign up for that table greeting thing, something that Alex should probably remember to do again himself before the next round began.
Anyways, she was gone now, and Mort was busy talking to Taryn, so it was almost like he and Yin were alone again. That thought made Alex strangely happy, butterflies forming in his stomach as his gaze drifted back to the weremantis's face as he peeled the wrapper off of the loli and looked at it as though it was the most strange and foreign thing he'd ever encountered. He hoped Yin would like it, and Alex was now worried that this had been a mistake.
Too late to take it back now, though, as the weremantis began experimenting the taste of the oozing candy with his tongue, and Alex couldn't help but stare on with rapt attention, though he told himself it was just to see what Yin's reaction to the taste was.
Eventually, after seeing that Yin didn't hate it at least, he was able to tear his eyes off of the weremantis and peel the wrapping off of his own loliglop, shoving it into his mouth quickly before he could get any of it's oozing syrup on his shirt or tie. That's where the candy remained, the stick still poking out as he gave Yin a large grin, smiling around the candy.
"No problem!" His talking distorted by the loli resting on his tongue, melting slowly in his mouth. He finally pulled it out for a spell, before speaking again, holding the loli well away from his own clothing.
"Was there anything else you wanted to buy?"

The weremantis eyed him enviously. How was he managing to eat his so easily? Any time he took his attention away from it it threatened to ooze all over him and make his hands sticky. "I am also going to get one of those toys. I believe that Princess Eva might enjoy one. I am unsure as to the purpose of most of the other prizes, but that is the only one that truly caught my interest." He laid out two tickets on the counter and was soon rewarded with a toy for his darling.
"I do not know what to do with the rest of my tickets," he confessed, looking down at the six that remained. "Is there something else that you wanted? Or do you have enough tickets for everything?" He had six, and six was larger than three, so he could get anything that the zomboil might want.
During this time he had not been paying attention to the candy and it had managed to ooze its way down onto his hand. He quickly popped it back into his mouth for a quick swirl, eyeing his hand. The candy seemed to be sticky, and there was nothing to wipe his hand off with. Nor were there any ghouls paying attention to him to judge him for his manners. He removed the lollipop and began to lick the ooze off of his hands before returning to suck on the actual lollipop. He wondered if he could just bite it, but he had not seen Alexander devour his in such a manner.

Alexander, in the meantime, had popped his loli back in his mouth, letting it rest on his tongue again and continue to melt and ooze syrup which he quickly swallowed.
Sweet, delicious, candy.
He nodded as Yin indicated the toy he was going to get for Princess Eva, though Alex had a feeling hers would be better taken care of then the ones he had gotten for his own pets. He wondered if five would even be enough. He had so many pets living in his room it was a little bit crazy. When he pulled out the loli the second time, it was with a slurping/sucking noise as he tried desperately to not end up with sugar infused spittle running down his face. He reached up quickly to wipe up his chin with a laugh, eyeing the loli a bit before saying "These are really messy. Most candy isn't this messy." before answering Yin's question
"Nah, I still have over 20 tickets." He admitted with a shrug. There was nothing else he could really see at the booth that interested him, except maybe the flowers, if he bought several and hand somebody to give them too. His glance may have shifted to Yin at that thought, but he quickly dismissed it.
"Thanks for the offer, though." He quickly added, realising that Yin had just offered to buy him something, which had never happened before that he could remember.
The loli was beginning to ooze onto his fingers so Alex popped it back into his mouth, this time smiling at Yin again before shifting the candy between his back teeth and chomping down on it with a satisfying crunch that caused all of the remaining syrup to explode in his mouth. He quickly chewed up the remaining candy and swallowed it down, removing the stick from his mouth and disposing of it in the nearest waste bin. As he walked back to Yin, he was sucking the syrup off of each of his fingers, wondering idly what they should do next.

Yin tried not to be too disappointed that he could not get the zomboil something. He was used to Alexander having money, but that meant that when he could actually get the boil something in return it would be a nice change of pace. But no, Alexander had just given him something else, that he could have afforded. He would have to think of something to do or get for the zomboil at a later date.
Finding out that it was okay to chew the candy was nice, and while it reminded him more of cracking bones open than it did eating anything else he crushed the candy ate it, twirling the stick idly in his fingers as he waited for the zomboil's return. "What should we--" he glanced over toward the board. "Oh, I believe that they are putting up names for the next round of conversations." He began to move in that direction. "Shall we meet up again afterward?"

Taryn laughed and bounced on her hooves again. What would boils like in terms of toys? She mushed her mouth to one side and tapped her fingers on the flowers that Mort had either refused or not noticed.
"The vampire teddy is nice," Taryn nodded, "I really like these squirters... I dunno! Get what you want. Two more roses gets me a full dozen!"

Being as bad as he was at social cues, Mort wasn't sure what to make of her statement. Did she want more roses and was subtly asking him to get her some? Were the roses meant for him? Or someone else? Or sa;djsldjalskdjalsdj?
"Lesee . . ." He perused the booth for a bit longer before snatching up several foxfire plushies, five roses, two sets of lockets, a pair of promise rings, a vampire teddy, and finally a lolliglop to munch on later. It was only with some pleading looks that he managed to get the disgruntled gnome to put them all in a bag, hazardously so. Mort at least managed to save the roses and, after hefting the bag carefully, offered two back to Taryn. "Can has dozen now, yes?"

Taryn grinned and nodded, taking the two roses and then thrusting them all out at Mort. "For you! You're my Scarentine today."
After all, Mort had never hurt her... emotionally. That hair tug had been pretty painful. He was innocent (in some ways) and strong (in others) and altogether a pretty decent boil. She'd be glad to have him for a Scarentine, even if he'd come with any of his many admirers.
"...let's get our picture taken," she said suddenly, "Come on. I need something to remember this night by." Not 'want', but 'need'.

F-For him? Even as tired as he was, Mort's grin was genuine at the sight of the two dozen. "Did not have to, but . . . n-needed. Thanks," he said upon taking the dead reds, their wilting hues reminding him of fresh and dried blood. "Will 'course take -"
And then his arm went yoink as the chimera led the way forward to the photo booth.

Amphi's eye's widened with surprise as he got all of the toys for her and gave them to the gnome to deliver. She held tightly to her group of plushies in her hand before the full born smile gave in.
"Oh...Oh Thank you so much Thana!" She reached up to give a joyful kiss on the cheek. A friendly kiss out of the blue but...instead of hitting his cheek, Biskoto had moved in and Amphi ended up kissing the Snake on the cheek instead.
Giggling she smiled at Biskoto, "Plushes for you as well Biskoto?"
She cuddled them closely, floating. he felt like she was FLOATING in happiness!
"What else do you want to do?" She looked up at him over the plushies....Her eye's searching over the booths before landing on the photobooth...
"Thana...Thana..." She reached out, balancing the plushes in arms before tugging on his sleeve, looking at him with big wide blue eyes...."Do you want to um...take a picture together?" she tugged again before pointing over to the booth...

Amphi was a troll. A huge kissing troll. 8|
"You're welcome," He replied, reminding himself about his own 'no teasing for the day' deal. Her suggestion to go to the photobooth caused him to raise an eyebrow, since it was rather sudden, but he gradually nodded, flashing her a grin before taking her hand, "Sure, why not? I'll be honored to take a photo with you~" Besides, she was calling him Thana again.
Biskoto let out a snaky giggle at the kiss, tilting her head as she smiled fondly at the ghoul, "Oh my, darling... Are you going to make a habit out of that? And photos! I love photos!" Despite the fact that she can't really see them.

Shun rested his head against hers briefly, then started to make his way towards the food table once she was at his side. His fingers intertwined with hers, giving him a firm but gentle squeeze as they moved on. "I can try. Some of the foods might not really have an equivalent term. It might just be like... keiki.. which is cake.."

" Cakie?" That's what it sounded like he had just said and it amused Mitsu to no end. She suppressed a giggle as they made their way over to the refreshment table looking over the food items she might try to learn the names of. " Oh what about this?" She delicately plucked another sausage from the platter they were on and held it up toward the reaper. Mitsu apparently really liked these, though big surprise it was a meat.

Shun didn't answer right away. As with cake, there wasn't really a word for sausage.
"....soseji.." he murmured before looking at the various foods laid out. He was trying to figure out if there was anything he wanted.

Mitsu's grin widened at the word he gave her, tail wagging with pleasure. She seemed to find these words that so neatly ended with an 'ie' sound to be rather entertaining. Popping the sausage into her mouth, she held it there between her teeth as she eagerly searched the table for something else for him to tell her the word for. What to choose what to choose?

After looking over the table for a little longer, Shun decided to go with a biscuit of some sort. Picking it up, he took a bite out of it, finding that it was more of a wafer type of thing. It had some sort of creme in between layers. It was fairly sweet, but not overtly so.
Also it was heart shaped. Of course. And over all it tasted pretty good.
"These aren't too bad."
