Angenora wants to get to know somebody!

Genora looked around as more students began to show up into the main room. Her dress seemed a bit eccentric for such a cutsie holiday, but she felt it was much needed since she loved to dress up. She blinked when she noticed Mortimer in such a cute outfit. She gave a sigh in awe as she just looked at him from afar. "Should I go talk to him?" She asked allowed as she thought about it. Nodding to herself, Genora walked elegantly over to the patchwork boil with a toothy smile. "Mort! Pleasure to see you again!" She said with excitement as she embraced him into a firm hug.

O3O!! Stunned as he was by the scenery, he was startled to be embraced so suddenly. The flailing only lasted a second, thankfully, as he recognized the voice behind it - but still he was a tad wide-eyed. "Mrrr, y-y-yess, h-hi," he stammered. "Nice t-t-to see made it . . . Angie?"

Sally, he was never going to get names right the first few times.

"Is... is he quite well, mia cara? Are you well?" Malodore leaned in, posing the questions in a low tone, not easily overheard by others. He, too, was worried about the dragon, and his tail swished uneasily. Riley was acting a little odd, too. A little... imprecise. Though maybe it was just the tides of love rising in her soul. Or something.

The plague doctor then nodded to Lizzy, opening its beak in a smile. "Grazie, I... I felt it right to, ah... to... express my devotion in a tangible fashion." Something in its brain was starting to realize the enormity of what it had done, but the rest of it was still happypinkfloatyisthataunicornwheeeeeee.

Neil wants to get to know somebody!

Elsa was taking her time to get to his party, that was for sure. And Neil grew a little tired of waiting so he decided to go ahead and sign up for the tables while he awaited her anticipated entrance.

There weren't many faces the canine could really say he recognized. Well there were a few. But he wasn't one to interrupt. Instead he stood there looking completely bored. Elsa should be walking through those doors at any moment, at least he hoped.

Despite having his back to them, Muka's head turned when his name was called. His normal grin seemed to grow larger when both ghouls were recognized.

"Amrita!" His body turned to meet his head's orientation and the giggling strix took each ghoul's hand gently and snapped his teeth above the flesh with a hiss of breath. With the formality out of the way he snatched them both into a BIG HUG. His wings even came around them with extra affection. He'd been feeling a strange stirring in his chest he was unfamiliar with but it was increasing his affections towards others. "You both look fantastic!"

The owl-boil did finally release them, oblivious to their own wishes about being hugged so grandly, and tucked a hand into one pocket of his suit coat. "Do you lovely ghouls have dates?" He giggled.

The smile she held was something he wanted to rip off, and he wondered how pretty she'd look with a torn, bleeding hole in her face. Even then, would she still be prettier than he was? Could he compete? While his kind were made to be visually appealing - it was to humans, not demons. In fact, some people found him repulsive in appearance. No weeping wounds, stitching, gaping holes, or twisted limbs. He stood out, and not in a good way. Lilith continued to emphasis her point. Barth was a sloth demon. A demon, as was she. They matched in class after all, and it probably was expected of them to be together. Calder knew it on his own level. Kelpies with kelpies was something that was enforced with a iron hoof where he lived. The same probably went for demons, though Barth mentioned it wasn't such a big deal with him. However, when did he ever throw a fuss? Maybe he was with Calder because he didn't want to fight saying no? Maybe he was with him because he was too lazy to find someone else? Maybe he was still dating Lilith and since she wasn't around, picked him up in the meantime.

"...it's rare. That kind of loyalty. That...that kind of friend. .....I can't do things alone, Calder. If the people I rely on leave when I need them...that's it, for me. And you are clever, and inventive, I'd know better than anyone. It's what I love most. You look...you're stunning. I need you."

He recalled Barth's exact words. He had been there when Lilith hadn't, and yet, he still sent her roses and treats. He got her something, and Barth doing ANYTHING was a large display of how much he cared for someone. Calder had been there when Barth said he needed him, and she was still on his mind. He was there because Barth needed someone to rely on, but did that mean he would happily go to another alternative if it was there? Did it mean that the only reason he was with him now was because no one else was around? That he was just getting by, making due, and that Calder wasn't good enough? That he just didn't meet standards?

Was he........just a low-grade alternative?


It doesn't matter. I know I'm not....as great. Even if I am , as long as he needs me..." His eyes looked to Barth, who was looking at Lilith in a way he thought had only been reserved for him. It hurt how easily it could be duplicated. Spread around. Brought up again and not just selective.

.......but does he need me now?

As Lilith butted in once more, smelling her flowers that he wanted nothing more to trample, he tried to muster up a bit of a fight. "He...He got me some outfits, and some treats too. Carrot Cupcakes." He mumbled, trying feebly to show that he was on Barth's mind too. That he got treats. Not flowers, but other pretty things. That meant something, right? "And we have been going out together. We've gone on dates." He tried to think of something else. "We sleep together all the time!"

Junko was fine. She was happy watching everyone have a good time. It was a relief actually to be able to just wander around socializing here and there making sure everyone was happy and enjoying the night; her mind was too distracted with running the event to even register that around her all of her friends had their boilfriends, their beloveds, and this was her anniversary with hers and..he wasn't here. She didn't even stop to think about it simply because she was so busy. She wasn't even fazed when someone tugged on her wing, they were so jacking obnoxious that she kept hitting things with them every time she turned, but the surprise on her face was very clear when she heard Seiji's voice and received the kiss on the cheek. He..he was here! He was out of his room! He was here! Junko gasped and whirled around to face him, immediately throwing her arms up to hug around his neck and plant a very enthusiastic kiss against his lips. She held that kiss until she needed to breathe, drawing away and panting lightly for air as she gazed up at her boilfriend with wide, glowing eyes.

Seiji. Her Seiji was here!

Wait. He'd said something. What had he said? Oh! The wings... "...Don't tell Riley I hate them." She said quietly, hugging him tightly with an excited squeal. He was heeeeere! And he was dressed similarly to..to last time! Oh Jack she was so happy! "Seiiiijiiiiiii~!" She squealed, hopping up on her tiptoes to give him another kiss.

It was after the kiss that she noticed what he was holding, gasping and releasing the ghost boil to admire the flowers. "Are these for me? You're so sweet! Eh? What's that?" A present? Oh no! She didn't think to get one for him! Craaaap!

Jack, Ulmuka moved funny! She stared wide as he bowed to put his teeth against her hand; nobody had ever done that before what should she do what did one do with this -- Luckily, before she could panic any further, there were arms around her.

"Ohjack!" Amrita gasped out as she was pulled into that huge hug, wrapping her free arm around the small of his back as best as she could, since she wasn't about to let go of Tahki. "N-no, you look fantastic! These colours suit you~" She murmured shyly, staring at him for a moment. He...really did look nice, too. It was strange how she noticed, she usually didn't...or at least it never mattered to her.

"No dates~" She agreed with Tahki, nodding. "Do you?" The ghoul was beaming as Tahki played along with her, completely unaware of the fact she was merely humoring her.
