Kadin saw a redheaded female knelt beside him and he took out his ear buds smiling. She said her name was Clover and asked him is own. "My name's Kadin nice to meet ya." He replied and thought to him self how you never hear the name Clover. Neither did you hear Kadin but it did perk up his curiosity. "Clover is a rad name how did you get it." He then offered up the chair next to him for a seat taking a sip of his beer. Cold as ice just how he liked it. He then put his ipod touch back in his pocket but the case had snapped off as he tried to adjust it back on. "Damn thing is always falling off knew I should have gone with the a rubber one." He said with a chuckle as Kadin snapped the case back on and into his pocket. "Now as you were saying before the attack of lazy cases." He said gesturing his hand for Clover to go on.

Kadin thought why would a father want to send away his daughter. He didn't pay much mind to it for it wasn't polite to ask question's like that on first meetings. He deiced to talk about a lighter subject. "Ireland is a real sweet place to be." He said in a complimentary voice flipping a beer bottle cap like a coin. It was a nice place if you want to relax on vacation. Making marks on his skate board or going to a amusement park was more Kadin's style. That or entertaining a lady friend. That gave Kadin a idea. He wondered what it would be like to make out with Clover.
"How do you know if a soup is good, you taste it." Kadin thought to him self with a smug smile across his face. Pushing his chair in Kadin motioned over to Clover putting a hand under a chin. Softly he rubbed the chin with his thumb. "Let's say you and I chill in my room."

"Sure that sounds like a good idea, I haven't been anywhere else but here and my room." She stood up and placed her empty glass on the bar, waiting for him to lead the way.

How can you see into my eyes like open doors? Leading you down into my core where I've became so numb Without a soul my spirit's sleeping somewhere cold Until you find it there and lead it back home ~Phoenix Blackmoor~ Wake me up Wake me up inside I can't wake up Wake me up inside Save me Call my name and save me from the dark Wake me up Bid my blood to run I can't wake up Before I come undone Save me Save me from the nothing I've become Phoenix sat, leaning forward a little in her seat, with her head resting against her hand and her eyes scanning the rest of the den and bar. There were a few new people that had wandered in since Phoenix had made herself comfortable at one of the tables to the back of the room, and Phoenix watched each one curiously as they came in. A few of them caught her attention a little more than the others, and Phoenix had considered going and talking to some of them. . . but she'd apparently taken just a bit too long at doing so, because it seemed that other people kept beating her to the punch.
Phoenix sighed and shrugged off the thought. Oh well. There were plenty of fish in the sea.
Running her tongue over her teeth, Phoenix pushed her blonde bangs out of her eyes and tilted her head to the side a little. While Phoenix did enjoy people watching, she also wasn't the type to simply sit still for a long period of time without doing something interesting. Phoenix tended to have the attention span of a two year old. A hyper two year old. A hyper two year old that had just broken into a stash of pixie sticks.
Sighing, Phoenix straightened her spine, and pushed her chair back as she stood. Stretching almost like a cat might, she pushed the chair in and then made her way across the room, over to a pool table. Phoenix hadn't noticed them when she'd first came in, but after she'd spotted them, she'd been considering playing a game or two. Phoenix had always loved the game, and she had yet to meet a person that could actually beat her at it. She'd even been good at it back when people called them 'billiard boards'. Phoenix smiled at the thought, she missed that era. Especially because during that era, it was so amusing to see the look on the men's faces when they beaten at the game by a woman.
She took several moments, picking out just the right cue. Not too heavy and not too light. When she found one that she was happy with, Phoenix moved on to chalking the cue. She never made a shot without doing so first. Once that was done, Phoenix went back to the table. The balls were already ready for a fresh game, so that saved Phoenix the time and effort of having to do so. So she shifted her stance, and put the cue on the table, taking a moment to get her aim right before hitting the ball. Phoenix had never been the type to get in a hurry for anyone, but when she was playing pool, Phoenix liked to take her time. Maybe that was why she was so good at it, she took the time and patience to make sure each shot did exactly as she wanted it to do.
Now that I know what I'm without You can't just leave me Breath into me and make me real bring me to life Bring me to life I've been living a lie, there's nothing inside Bring me to life Frozen inside without your touch Without your love, darling Only you are the life among the dead

This place was turning out to be very boring way too quickly for her tastes. I mean, where were all the people for her to mess with? Sure, she had found that one man in the foyer, but he had disappeared on her shortly afterward. Everywhere she turned it was either nice, obedient, little slaves or kind, laidback, let-the-slave-walk-all-over-them masters. Neither of those were the type of person she wanted to talk to, let alone spend time with. What Nova wanted was someone who had buttons she could push, a person whose skin she could get under, one that would actually get mad if she did something aside from what they wished. Yes, those types were always fun.
Eventually, the woman's wandering led her to an area that seemed halfway enjoyable. It was a bar, with pool tables in the back. There was a decent crowd here too. Maybe the beings in this room would offer her some form of entertainment to her... If nothing else she could probably have a drink, scope out some of the other occupants, and find a few marks to pick on. Really, why the heck is this place filled with such wimps. 'Master' my a**. They're nothing but a bunch of sissies, and the slaves...Ugh. Nova plopped into one of the bar-stools, bright blue eyes surveying the area for a moment as her nails drummed against the counter. What to do, what to do?

I tried to kill my pain But only brought more So much more I lay dying And I'm pouring crimson regret and betrayal I'm dying, praying, bleeding and screaming Am I too lost to be saved? Am I too lost? Do you remember me? Lost for so long Will you be on the other side Or will you forget me? I'm dying, praying, bleeding and screaming Am I too lost to be saved? Am I too lost?
Shadow

After parting ways with Riley, Shadow had disappeared into her room for several moments, deciding to take a closer look at the place. Shadow was actually surprised to see that so much detail had been put into her room. Not that Shadow would actually admit that, of course. Hell no. Shadow would never say anything that would actually compliment the owners of the castle. They probably had enough of an ego as it was, she thought. She thought she heard footsteps outside her door, but then they disappeared against just as quickly, so Shadow had shrugged it off. Maybe it was Red still hanging around. Or possibly someone else looking for their room. Shadow didn't really care as long as they weren't bothering her.
Leaving her bag in the chair, Shadow never unpacked because she never knew how long she would stay before she was off to the next place, Shadow left her room again. She retraced her steps, until she found herself back at the stairs and back in the foyer. "Back to square one," she muttered to herself. Sighing, Shadow began walking, picking a random direction to head in. She did want to find that den and bar, it would just take a little exploring on her part. But really, what else did she have to do?
Eventually, though how long it was exactly Shadow wasn't sure, she found herself standing in the door way to the den and bar. Shadow lingered there for a moment, quickly taking in the room and making mental notes of everyone she saw there, as she always did. There was a blonde playing pool in the back, and a few other people mulling around. One in particular caught her eye, a woman sitting at the bar. Dark hair, bright blue eyes that were scanning the room, tapping her nails against the counter, and wearing a slightly revealing outfit. Shadow rolled her eyes. Her first impression of the woman, was that she was possibly a master. Something about the way she was acting, made Shadow feel as though she thought she was better than the others there. Maybe that wasn't the case, maybe it was the total opposite of how the woman really was, but that was Shadow's first thought.
Shrugging it off, and finding that she really didn't care what the woman was, Shadow made her way into the bar, once again acting as though she didn't notice anyone else there. She went over to the bar, and frowned when she noticed that most of the bar stools were currently taken, leaving only one currently open. Directly beside the tapper, or as Shadow had silently decided to call her, Thumper. Shadow always gave people nicknames based on what the first thing was that she noticed about them; the first thing she'd noticed about Nova was the nail tapping. She had considered referring to her as Tapper, but for some reason, Shadow simply liked Thumper better and that would be her nickname for the girl.
Shadow sighed, looking for the bartender. "Can I get a drink, or what?" Shadow called over towards the bartender, rolling her eyes. "I hate waiting," she muttered under her breath after the bartender had gave the universal 'one minute' sign with his finger. At least he hadn't used the other finger, or Shadow would have had to go over the counter at him, she thought sarcastically.

Well, more than she usually was, anyway. Phoenix was, after all, usually a pretty laid back person; it took a lot to annoy her and even more to make her temper so. It had once been a different story, of course. When Phoenix had been younger. But by this point in her existence, she had learned to just go with the flow, so to speak. Getting angry and upset over things didn't do anyone any good and usually only made the problem worse. Besides, there really wasn't any situation she hadn't seen at one time or another.
Phoenix made a few shots, each ball going into the pocket that she wanted it to. Hmmm, maybe Phoenix would check into trying to get her own pool table in her room here, for if she just wanted to play in the privacy of her own room. After a few moments, Phoenix took a break from her game, glancing around the den and bar and noticing a few new people that had arrived. Phoenix gave them each a once over, curious if any of them looked familiar to her. Or maybe simply looked interesting to talk to. A couple of them looked either annoyed, or simply wanting to be left alone. She turned her head, just in time to see a woman, that was sitting in a far corner of the bar and reading a book, smile in her direction. Or at least, Phoenix thought that it had been aimed in her direction, anyway.
Phoenix turned back to her pool game, making a few more shots until all of the balls had disappeared into the pockets of the table. Hmmm, Phoenix loved playing pool, either alone or with someone, but when she played a game alone, it always seemed to go by way too fast. Not to mention, it was always nice to have a little friendly competition. Finishing her game, Phoenix returned the cue to the rack, and pursed her lips. She could play another game, but at the same time, Phoenix was in the mood for a conversation. Or at least to talk for a few moments, if nothing else. Deciding to just strike up a conversation, Phoenix decided to start with the girl that had smiled at her, and was reading a book.
Reaching the girl's table, Phoenix wondered if maybe the girl just wanted to be left alone with her book, but shrugged off the thought. If the girl acted like she wanted to be left alone, then Phoenix would leave and move on to someone or some place else. But it wouldn't hurt to be friendly, right? "Hi, name's Phoenix," she told the girl, offering a friendly smile. "And no, I'm not really a Phoenix, it's just a name," she added with a chuckle. "I always get asked that question," she said with a shrug.
"So, uh, how long have you been here at the castle?" she asked, trying to break the ice. "I just got here earlier today myself," she explained with a shrug. It wasn't really a great conversation starter, Phoenix knew, but it was the best she had at the moment. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other, as she waited to see how the girl reacted. If she seemed like she wanted the company, Phoenix would take a seat. If she seemed like she wanted to be left alone, Phoenix would do just that and go somewhere else.
Now that I know what I'm without You can't just leave me Breath into me and make me real bring me to life Bring me to life I've been living a lie, there's nothing inside Bring me to life Frozen inside without your touch Without your love, darling Only you are the life among the dead

That seemed to fit the other woman, Phoenix thought. Sometimes it was funny how names could fit a person perfectly, and other times it didn't seem to suit them at all. Her name seemed to suit her perfectly, though. Phoenix gave a light nod of her head when Lynn said that she hadn't been in the castle long. Just long enough to get a feel of things, but not 'horribly long', as she described it. "Sounds like we've been about the same amount of time, then," Phoenix commented.
When Lynn smiled, and offered her a place to sit, Phoenix decided to take her up on the offer, and dropped down into the sit next to the other woman. At least it seemed like she wanted company, then. Phoenix had been worried about disturbing her reading. After sitting down, Phoenix pushed her long blonde hair off her shoulders, and let it fall down her back as she looked around the room. Trying to decide what to say to Lynn next. Phoenix liked to talk, and once she got going, she could talk about almost anything. But it was always getting the conversation going that was the interesting part. Phoenix was a naturally curious person, so she always loved finding out new things. She often took guesses as to what people's species were, if they were a master or pet, that kind of thing. But at the same time, Phoenix tried not to pry.
Deciding what to say, she looked back to Lynn, keeping her friendly smile in place. "So, what do you think about the castle so far?" she asked. That seemed like a good topic to start with, Phoenix thought. "Personally, I find it rather interesting. There seems to be so many different types of people here, roaming around. I can't imagine it ever being boring when you put so many different species under one roof," she said, giving a light shrug of her shoulders.

No...well, maybe a little. Practically everyone she had run into thus far was so wimpy though. It was disgusting. For the slaves that was semi-natural, but the Masters? Feh, what a bunch of disappointments. They were supposed to be powerful, cruel, destructive; instead they let the slaves do whatever they wished. Why, they even gave them things for absolutely no reason at all; just to be 'nice.' That wasn't the kind of Master Nova wanted though, she wanted someone that would get mad or irritated; not some pansy. Honestly, this place was filled with pushovers.
Ah! Here was someone! A smile flit across her lips as those bright blue orbs landed upon Shadow. This girl might be fun. She certainly didn't act like the other pets or masters Nova had come across. Which group the dark-haired female actually belonged to was of little concern to Nova though; she just wanted to have fun. The other female had walked in acting as though she didn't notice anyone, which was fine with Nova, and walked over to the bar. The only bar stool available happened to be right next to this pet anyway, how perfect was that?
"Well, you better get used to it here. Things are always so...dull. Most everyone's a bore too." A sly smile spread across her lips as she turned to face the other woman. "Of course, there is some fun to be had if you know where to find it." Just because she thought all of these people were wimps didn't stop Nova from trying to entertain herself. So far, the most enjoyable thing she had found to do was change objects around when someone wasn't looking, then switch those things back to normal a moment later. It had confused several people already.
"Here, drink up." Nova told her, snatching a drink from one of the other patrons as soon as they received it and passing the glass to Shadow. it wasn't like any of them would actually do anything about her taking that anyway. Well, aside from a glare or two that is. She couldn't care less about those. After sliding the glass over, she placed one elbow upon the bar counter and rested her chin on top of her hand. "Name's Nova by the way. I take it you're new here?" Hmm, she probably should have asked that earlier...oh well.

Shadow

After being brushed off, at least temporary, by the bartender, Shadow heard a voice from beside her. A female voice. Must have been Thumper, Shadow realized. Shadow turned her dark eyes toward the other woman without fully turning her head as she said that things were always dull there, and that most everyone was a bore. Shadow snorted at that. She'd only been there for less than an hour, and she had already gathered that much. Shadow didn't get a chance to say that, however, before Thumper continued, saying that there was some fun to be had if you knew where to find it. That caused Shadow to raise an eyebrow and piqued her interest a little. Hmmm, the woman knew how to have a little fun in this rather boring place? That would be worth talking to her alone, just to find out what 'fun' this woman had found. Shadow was always up for having a little fun. Especially if it involved messing with people's heads. Mind games were her favorite.
Shadow watched with slight amusement as Nova snatched a drink from someone else that had just been served, and passed it to Shadow, telling her to drink up. Not that Shadow actually let on that she found it amusing, of course. She fought off the urge to let her lips curl up into a smirk. Hmmm, maybe Thumper wasn't so bad after all, Shadow thought. She didn't seem to be all little Ms. Submissive. Shadow absolutely hated when she found people like that. Granted, she could partly understand when pets acted that way, but Shadow thought that if they started fighting back, the way that she did, and not allowing themselves to be so mistreated, then perhaps they could make their lives better. Then again, Shadow's usually got worse because her masters would try to break her. Never worked, of course, but it didn't stop them from trying.
Thumper went on to introduce herself as Nova, and take a guess that Shadow was new there. Shadow didn't answer right away, instead picking up the glass that Nova had retrieved for her and swirling it around, watching the liquid move in the glass, before finally raising the glass to her lips and taking a long drink of it. Lowering the glass and sitting it on the counter, Shadow ran her fingers over the top of it, and shifted a little in her seat as she turned to fully face Thumper. . . er- Nova. "That obvious, is it?" Shadow asked, keeping her tone bored and uninterested, as she usually did. "Yeah, just got here not long ago. Red told me about a bar and den, and I decided to check it out," Shadow said with a shrug. She realized in hindsight that Nova might not know who 'red' was, especially since that was just a nickname and not the girl's actual name, but Shadow didn't bother to explain. She simply wasn't in the mood.
Shadow ran her tongue over her teeth for a moment, silently deciding on if she wanted to tell the woman her name. Eh, what the hell? "Name's Shadow," she added, looking away and taking another drink. Sitting the glass down once again, she looked back to Nova, her hair falling over her left eye and Shadow decided to leave it there. "I'm going to take a stab in the dark here, and assume that you're not new here?" Shadow's question more or less came out as a statement rather than a question, though. Tilting her head to the side, Shadow studied the woman silently for a few long seconds. She wasn't really one for small talk. . . however, she was curious about the woman's comment a moment ago. "What was that about 'fun' that you mentioned a moment ago, about there being some if you know where to find it?" Shadow asked curiously, and straight to the point. Shadow never saw any reason to be subtle and beat around the bush, after all. "Does it involve messing with people's heads, or something? That's my favorite game to play," she said, her lips finally turning up into a small smirk.
