Riku hadn't been fast enough to evade the legendary as the snow pelted her. It came so fast and thickly and the bird flew away shortly afterward. Riku herself was covered in snow, basically a Riku snowman. Pushing at the snow until she could get out of it, she then wiped as much off as she could. Teeth chattering slightly, it brought back memories of the time she had spent in the Aether. Shrugging, she shook the thought off quickly.That time was over and she had this mission to accomplish. Hearing the snap in her pack, she then saw one of the pieces had broken. Sighing, she picked out the pieces of the broken piece and tossed them into the snow. Time for her to keep moving forward...

Only a few steps would Riku manage before once again she would find her path was blocked by a Giant Pokemon...and this one an all too familiar one. Purple crushing coils stretched across the beach, and smoke billowing from it's body, it was the same Giant Arbok she'd seen trying to devour the Spearrow before. The results had been as one would expect, swallowing pieces of the wreck, something had obviously gotten caught in the Arbok's own workings and caused it to break down.
It was just another Fallen Giant now...but perhaps that left possibilities for Riku.

Riku looked really happy as she spotted the fallen giant. She had been lucky to actually find one this time! Grinning, she thn approached it and glanced around. Would this be the end of her mission? Would she finally find the long awaited last essential piece? The girl did recognize the pokemon from earlier but began her search. There were a lot of pieces as she pulled out the piece of paper that showed what piece she needed. Examining the body, she began to try and see if it was there.With any luck, she would find the final piece!

Luck had been with Riku in finding the Giant, but it would seem it had departed soon after. If the last necessary part was present, it was likely in too many pieces to recognize. Instead what she'd end up finding what looked like some large, massively complicated circuit board still in a single piece. It was an Extra Part....well, at least she wouldn't leave empty handed.

The girl picked up the extra part, a little disappointed. Shrugging, she would still have to continue her search on finding the last part. Oh well, this mission wasn't exactly easy. Hopefully luck would hold out and she would find another fallen giant. It was time for her to continue forward, as she moved on. Her purple gaze scanned the area, trying to figure out where the next fallen giant would be..

Luck was not with her that day. As she kept going, she found nothing. It was quiet. Oddly quiet. The girl shrugged it off, not really worried at the moment. But usually when there was this kind of danger, there would always be some kind of danger. Would it be a giant pokemon? Possible two. The girl shuddered at that thought. Maybe a pokemon. Or what else could lie hidden in this island? She looked a little weary, glancing around cautiously. What would she encounter next? Only one way to find out as she kept walking.

Riku kept chugging along. What was wrong with this place? It was either she came across a giant pokemon and then she ended up walking for a long time and then encountered something else. This place seemed to be really random. The girl paused for a second, taking a breather. When she felt like she had stopped for long enough, she continued forward. Walk...walk...walk...

What the child encountered next was a sight to behold, a beast which ran neither hot nor cold. It was the body of a giant Kecleon, laying shattered upon the shore. More then most this beast was in mere scrapes, pieces and parts laying strewn across the sands in ever direction. Perhaps the child would get lucky this time?

Riku saw the fallen giant and then closed her eyes for a second. Sending a prayer to Arceus that she would be able to find the last essential piece and that it woulod guide her path to find it. Opening her gaze, she then glanced around. The pieces were all over the place and she quickly hurried over to it. Glancing around, she began to slowly but carefully glance over the pieces. Would it be here? Would the mission finally be over?

Fate was against Riku that day however. The Kecleon had been truly scraped. Most pieces were either shattered against one another, or so deeply lodged into the sand she would never be able to remove them. Instead of what she would find, she would end up finding a simple, giant gear. An extra part like so many others she'd encountered that day.

Riku sighed heavily before sitting down for a second. Her violet gaze spotted the extra part, picked it up and placed it in her pack with the rest. Today really was not her day. A little disheartened, she then slowly rose back up to her feet. This mission was making her both physically and mentally tired. It kind of seemed like it would never end. She would be really happy when she would get to go back to her land and just sleep for awhile and not have to worry about anything. At least it was her one place she could always look forward to returning to. Giving one last glance over her shoulder at the pieces of the Kecleon, she then began trudging forward once more.

The sun was shining brightly and the sand seemed to sparkle like glitter. The girl was starting to get kind of hot walking across the sandy beach like terrain. The clouds covered the sun briefly. She glanced at them out of the corner of her eye. They reminded her of Swablu with their white fluffy cotton like appearance. The girl began to examine the clouds a little bit more closely while walking slowly. She could even pick out the shapes of pokemon. Okay, so walking like that could be a little dangerous. Instead she focused her attention on the sparkling sand and could pick out some shapes there. The sea water lapped at the edges and caused the sand to swirl and the dampness from the water started to form pokemon. Or maybe she was just imagining things. Who knew. No one was exactly sane regardless of whether they thought so or not.

Insane the girl might very well have been; or at least succumbing to heat stroke, but there was no mistaking the signs which quickly began to pile up in front of her. The tide pools would abruptly ripple, the sand would shift ever so slightly, and then the ground would begin to shake. The sound of something pounding against the earth would grow loud in her ears, until a cry of "TOOOOGEEEEPIIIIII!!!" Thousands of times deeper then was normal would ring across the beach.
Riku had encountered yet another Giant Pokemon. This one didn't seem to be actively hunting the girl down; unfortunately, it also hadn't seemed to have noticed her despite heading straight for her. She was about to be trampled, and the Togepi would be none the wiser to what it had done!

Yikes! The girl looked up just in time to see the giant Togepi racing towards her. If she decided to run straight, she would be crushed. Her only chance was to run either left or right. Well running to her left would mean that she would be running into the ocean and that wouldn't be good. No need to run into a Giant Gyrados. So the only option was to turn and run to her right. The girl swerved slightly, almost slipping on the sand in her haste. This wasn't the time to be clumsy because it would mean her life was at risk!
