Susan Chang
Walking through the town, Susan stopped and noticed a tea house. Her eyes got bigger, and a wide smile came onto her face. She clapped her hands excitedly and entered the nice little tea house.
As Susan walked in through the door she saw Percy, and that boy she had met when she was with Izzy. "Percy, hello!" she said and walked over to him. She looked at the other boy with Percy. "Edward right?" she said and looked a little confused.

Percy Mikelovitch
Percy laughed "Yeah... I don't really get it either. Like I said, I've never played it, I've only seen it played... and it's odd." He leaned back, lifting the front legs of his chair up off the ground slightly. Edward had a ball collection? That was the sort of sentence his sister would have snickered at for sure. "Shouldn't be too hard to buy a frisbee though. Especially now that it's summer, every sporting goods store and, well, most other stores too, will have that sort of stuff. Frisbees I mean."
He attempted a shrug, but found it a lot harder to do while balancing in his chair than he had first thought. "Eh... not really a sports person, yeah. I do read a lot of manga and comics and well, books in general... play video games... Mostly I practice piano or something... though I don't actually have a piano right now to practice on, so I've been working with a ukelele, learning all the chords and... and stuff. Not that ukelele is that difficult or anything." He trailed off uncomfortably. He felt like he was rambling. "Ah... what about you? What do you do... in your spare time? I mean, I'm guessing you like sports a lot yeah?"
He jumped at another exclamation nearby, nearly losing his balance and falling over backwards in his chair. Fortunately, he managed to lean forward and bring the front legs of his chair back to the ground instead of taking a spill and causing a giant commotion in the teahouse. "A-ah! Susan!" He went to look at his friend, but quickly diverted his gaze to the table instead, blushing in the process. "U-um... Er... Hi. How you been? Haven't seen... haven't really seen you around lately. Enjoying your summer?"

Edward Pourdlaw They were very different people. Not that Edward really needed to think that too often since he already felt that way the moment he started chatting with the boy or even took in his appearance. "Oh so you play music? I can't do any. Can't sing or play an instrument, but it sure is nice to listen to. But isn't there a music room in the school that you could use? Well, I've never been to look if there even is one but since music is offered as a class, I figured there should be one." Edward remarked. And what music room wouldn't have a piano? "Yeah. I'm into sports. But I play my share of video games too. Sometimes even I gotta take a break right? But usually I get stuck babysitting brats." By babysitting brats, it was mostly Jacob and Izzy. Well, Izzy was the brattiest but Jakey had his share of moments where Edward wanted to facepalm at him.
Edward was startled by two things. First was when he heard a girl's voice and second was when Percy almost fell. So in his startled shock, he sat there and stared in surprise for a brief moment. He glanced at the girl who approached them and almost grimaced. It was that cat girl that Izzy was flirting with but she apparently was friends with Percy. Well, he didn't realize that cats were attention whores of doom. Edward forced a smile at her. "Yo... Su...zy?" Edward said to her since he didn't quite remember her name from last they spoke. After all, it was a very short encounter.

Susan Chang
Wow. Susan seemed to have a habit of scaring Percy and making him blush. "Oops. Sorry Percy.." she said and paused for a moment. "Haven't seen you either. It seems like the last time was at the japanese place, huh? I've been good. Have you been good?" she asked and looked at Edward. She smiled. He was familiar. "Susan" she corrected him.
Susan took a seat with the 2 of them. "So.." she said and felt slightly awkward.

Percy Mikelovitch
"A-ah, y-yeah! I've been... Good." Percy shot a smile at Susan without actually looking at her. It was relieving to know that her and Edward had alread met. That way he didn't have to worry about having to attempt to awkwardly introduce them. "Just been ah... ah... enjoying the summer holiday and... a-nd stuff. What about you? No wait... I already asked that, sorry." He blushed again and lapsed into silence. What was wrong with him? He was being even more awkward than normal, which shouldn't have been happening, seeing as Susan was someone he already knew. Still, he felt flustered all of the sudden, as if his stomach was doing acrobatic stunts off of his ribcage. Maybe it was from being surprised... though that didn't really make sense either. Well, he would tell himself that was the reason for now so that he could keep himself from doing something stupid. Just so long as he didn't make a fool of himself, maybe neither of the others would notice his sudden change in disposition...
"E-er... You m-mentioned babysitting?" He said, his voice cracking at his attempt to make idle conversation. "I... Do you have a job at... Do you work at a Pre.. um... with children? I w-was thinking about getting a... well, working myself. It would definitely be something t-to ah, to pass the time, and the extra... all the... more money is never a bad thing r-right? I mean, m-more money means you can go do more... activities, and stuff."

Edward Pourdlaw "Sorry. Susan." Edward repeated. "My memory isn't all that good when it comes to names." Susan settled down with them and her awkward "So..." did not help the awkwardness. He glanced down at his lap for a moment and then he pushed the menu on the table to her. "Here. In case you wanted to order."
Was it just Edward or did Percy suddenly get even more nervous around Susan? Now this could mean a few things. One, Percy was afraid of cats. Two, Percy was afraid of girls. Three, this girl blackmailed Percy to be his slave. Four, Percy probably likes her. Hmm... all of those seemed fairly believable. He probably will have to find time to ask Percy about it later. Although Edward wasn't all that keen about sharing a table with a mangy cat creature, it would be so obvious if he suddenly decided to leave.
He glanced at Percy when he brought up babysitting. "Er... not really kids. It's more like my friends. They're a bit immature and sometimes hanging out with them feels like babysitting. Sorry if I made it sound like I really do watch over kids." But no really, sometimes it felt like he did. "But a summer job does sound like a good idea. Maybe I might try working somewhere." Was there a gym around here? "So Percy, you want to try babysitting as some way to earn some dough?" Edward glanced at Susan. "What about you? You thinking of a summer job?"

Susan Chang
What was wrong with Percy? He was alot more.. Stuttery than usual. He usually didn't stutter this much. She smiled at him as he spoke. "Sounds like you have had fun" she said.
"No worries" Susan said to Edward. She then looked at the both of them talking about babysitting, at this point, Susan was looking at the menu Edward and given her. She then looked up with Edward asked her a direct question. "Oh summer job.. Not sure. I guess money would be nice... Maybe in the book store... Being around something I love all day would be just fine" Susan said.
"Have you two ordered yet?" Susan asked and looked at the menu, so many nice teas to choose from. But Susan being Susan, she would probably choose the good old black tea with milk in it, like she always did. She closed up the menu and put it back on the table.

Percy Mikelovitch
Percy blinked. "Oh... er... right, I see what you mean." He hadn't thought Edward really looked the type to be babysitting anyways, so what he said definitely made a lot more sense. "I ah, oh, no I couldn't babysit as a job. Definitely not." He shook his head. "Not like this at least... er... with kids, there's times when you've gotta be... eh... authoritative? I think that's the word. Anyways, I'm not... Ever. Authoritative I mean. I'd probably do better with a job where I don't have to talk... E-ever." He grinned. "There's not really very many jobs out there like that though is there? Ah... probably not."
He listened quitely as Susan talked about working at a book store. "Huh... could definitely see you working someplace like that." He said, shooting another smile her way but being very careful not to make eye contact. "The ah... the thing is, it seems like a lot of people are uh, are under the impression that working at a book store would actually... you know, give them time to read. I... I love books, but I sorta feel like working at an actual book store would just ah, just... well it'd be a little tedious you know? Well, at least I imagine it'd be, haven't actually worked at a book store before... O-or in general really, at least when it comes to... to hourly positions..."
He trailed off, blushing again as he realized how long he had been talking. "E-er... we ah... we haven't ordered... yet." He said, looking down at his hands. His stomach was still doing somersaults and kick flips, causing him to feel very odd. "I'm sure a waiter... O-r a waitress will be along... er.. presently."

Edward Pourdlaw Edward gave Percy a toothy grin. "Hey, that doesn't apply to only just kids. Apparently dealing with immature teenagers, you gotta stomp them down." Not that it always worked when Edward tried to be bossy, but sometimes it did. "But you sure got it hard. Lots of jobs have to deal with customer service and all that kind of stuff. Maybe you could try working as a stocker in a store? Ah crap, but I think that requires some heavy lifting with a bunch of boxes. I don't think you're up for that."
He glanced at Susan. Eh...? A bookstore? A place like that would be too quiet for his taste. At least if she chose to work there, he wouldn't be seeing her around town often at least. "Huh, well, sounds.... fun...?" Oh, dude, Edward. So weak! Even if he didn't like bookstores, he could have at least acted a bit more enthusiastic about its funness and let the subject slide over. But Percy's analysis made working there even more blegh to Edward's mind.
"Not yet, but we've made our decisions. Here, I'll just call a waiter." Edward glanced back an waited for a worker to pass by and Edward called out to him. "Hey, excuse me. We're ready to order!" The waiter glanced at them and gave them a well-practiced customer service smile. "Alright, I'll be with you in a minute," and then he left to go put away the dishes he was holding.
"There, a waiter is coming soon, so you still have sometime to make a decision, Susan." Edward informed as he turned back to the two.
((You guys can go ahead and control the waiter in your posts. =D This NPC is a group effort. XD))

Great, they hadn't ordered. Susan looked at Edward "Oh, I've decided" Susan said and smiled. She looked at the waitress as she came over. "Hi miss. Umm.. I'd like to have a black tea, with milk, no sugar" she said and glanced at Edward and Percy and indicated she was done and they could order.
Percy was being rather stuttery today. Susan looked at him with a slight look of concern but then looked out the windo on the wall.

Percy frowned. He didn't have much when it came to "Manly pride" but still, he couldn't help but feel a little offended by Edward's blunt observation as to his physical aptitude, truthful as it might be. "I... well, I mean I could probably lift more than... well... than you think I could..." He wasn't even convincing himself with that tone. He shook his head. "Er... Pianists have strong... fingers, shouldn't under... underestimate- I'll have black tea as well thanks." He cut himself off and smiled at the waitress, grateful for anything that took attention away from him. He felt like he was digging himself into a hole that he really didn't want to be in. That is, an incredibly awkward hole, filled with... awkwardness. "S-till, stocking would probably work a lot better for me than having to interact with customers." He glanced around dramatically before continuing. "I've heard customer's can be real scary sometimes."
He turned and gave the waitress another smile. She returned it politely.
He glanced over to Susan, who seemed not to even be paying attention to the conversation anymore, before turning back to Edward. "Er... what about you? Where would you want to ah... well, what sort of job would you want to have?"

Susan Chang
So both of the boys had ordered now. Susan looked at Percy. "So Percy.. you like black tea as well. Sweeet. It's my favourite kind of tea. I've never really liked the ones that are herbal. They dont seem to be real tea. Just, some herbs splashing around in hot water, you know?" she said and hoped that the waitress would come back soon. Susan was so eager for tea now. She had ordered it, and she was just so excited to finally drink it.
Susan hoped that Percy wasn't still.. Iffy about the whole, Susan-knowing-about-gender-change thing. He had seemed to be rather.. distant since then. Susan wasn't sure why, but she wouldn't know unless she would ask. "Are we okay Percy?" she asked anxiously and put her finger tips together.

Percy Mikelovitch
Percy smiled politely at Susan. Hadn't they... had a conversation about their favorite teas before? Maybe at some point, back when he was stuck as Penelope... He wasn't sure, he couldn't think right. Why was it so hard for him to talk all of the sudden? He felt incredibly flustered, but he held his composure, looking up at the cat girl's right ear so as to not focus on her eyes. "R-right... Herbal's okay I... I-I guess. Definitely.... not as good as ah, as black tea though."
Her sudden question stopped him cold, the color draining from his face before suddenly flushing back into his cheeks a deep red. It wouldn't have been a big deal if she had said "Are you okay."... But she hadn't. She had said: "Are we okay?"... what did that mean? Was there some sort of problem between them? What did "are we okay" even relate to? Something simple and non threatening? Or did it... was it...
"A-ah... oh um... well... er... Y-yes! Of course! Why, well er, why wouldn't we be?" He felt very self conscious answering that question in front of Edward. It seemed like the sort of question that could be easily misconstrued. In fact, to the outside eye... or ear, it almost sounded like they were having some sort of "relationship" troubles... as in romantic "relationship"... He blushed harder, a feat quite impressive by any standards. The very thought of such things made him feel so... odd... He was half tempted to just make eye contact with Susan in an attempt to escape... whatever it was he was going through.
And then the waitress returned.
