It was frustrating for sure. Mitsu had been leery enough when they had told everyone not to talk about what happened....but to completely cover everything up and say that Red retired? It was rather disgraceful to her memory even if Mitsu didn't know her well.
"How...do you think they will keep this under wraps?" Mitsu asked. "There are so many people that were there that know the truth. How can they expect it not to get out?" And what would they do when it did? That was the better question. A situation like this was a ticking time bomb.

Shun was silent for a little while there, thinking about that question himself.
"I suppose it's possible blackmail could have come into play, at least when it comes to the staff. If things do get out they may take to some drastic measures as well. What those are, I can't really say. I'm sure the boogeys have their ways of covering up things, even if we try to get it out to the general public."
He paused for the moment there.
"Then again, releasing information on the hunters on a wide scale at this point may be a poor thing to do. Most likely it'd cause a mass panic, which wouldn't be an ideal reaction to this sort of thing."

The frown was still apparent on Mitsu's face as she folded the paper in her lap. Her thoughts kept going back to Red and how this was rather unfair to her memory. "I hope something gets done for Red...despite the risks." Mitsu said softly.
Slowly she rose from the bed and set the paper aside on the night stand. Her itchy bandages were hard to ignore despite the topic. Carefully she lifted her shift enough to start to unravel them, at least this part would be easy.

"That would be nice. She does deserve more than this," Shun quietly agreed. As Mitsu got back up, he took another drink of tea before noticing that she seemed to be working on getting her bandages off. For now, she seemed to be doing fine on her own, but he was ready to get up and offer assistance once she needed it.
His guess was that she'd mostly need help with getting the fresh bandages on. And maybe to apply some ointment to any wounds that might be on her backside. Doing that for her might be a little tricky, but if he took his time and was careful he figured he could do that much.

At least the idea was mutual. They would have to see what happened. Maybe the students would do something if nothing else.
There was no real trouble with getting the old bandages off. Mitsu carefully rolled up the old used material and threw it away before she grabbed the ointment and a few set of bandages. As Shun predicted, after Mitsu was treat what was within her reach she began to struggle until she finally gave up and looked at the reaper.
"I..I guess I will need help." She said holding out the ointment to him.

Furrowing his brow while watching her try to treat her own wounds, Shun nodded and moved to help her out. Getting up and off the bed, he took the ointment, then tried to carefully apply some wherever he saw the red marks upon her body.
"Let me know if this hurts," he murmured, trying to be as gentle as he could. Once the ointment was applied, he took the fresh bandages and started to wrap her up. It wasn't as neat as it could have been most likely, but it was better than nothing in the very least.

Mitsu winced here and there but said nothing about it. Beyond being tender it looked like the wounds were healing. Even the one she had sewn up herself. Once Shun was done with wrapping Mitsu traced her fingers along the bandages for a moment checking them over. A little loose here and there but it would work out well enough.
"Thank you." She smiled lightly putting the other bandages she had gotten away before she took a seat on the bed again and laid back to relax. The newspaper article still bothered her and had her worried. What kind of trouble were they going to face from here on out?

"No problem.. and.. again, thank you. You really looked out for me these past few days," he said softly. If it weren't for her, he probably would have been stuck wandering around aimlessly, not knowing where he was or how to get anywhere. He had been almost completely helpless, which was not a feeling he wanted to have again in the future.

A soft smile touched her lips as she nodded. "I would do it again. You would do the same for me." She knew the reaper had her back, he would protect her even in the most dire of situations. Even when he had been blinded and had his hearing taken from him he was still more concerned about her getting to safety.
Yawning lightly Mitsu rested her head on Shun's pillow, allowing herself to sink into his bed comfortably. She hadn't been particularly tired but once she had laid down it was obvious she could rest. There was still a lot of energy to make up for from the trip after all.
"I think..I might rest a bit more if that's okay."

Following her to the bed, Shun just sat down for the time being. He hadn't used up as much energy as Mitsu did, so he wasn't quite ready to get resting yet. However, he was fine with relaxing in general. Perhaps a little later though, he'd lie down as well.
"Rest however long you need to," he said softly while caressing the side of her face.

Closing her eyes Mitsu moved just enough so that she lean into the hand caressing her face. Such a warm and gentle touch. Scooting closer to the reaper as he sat down Mitsu smiled giving a light nod. More rest sounded ideal. The more she rested the faster she would heal and get better.
"You'll be here when I wake up?" She asked softly, her sleepy state already making her words sound distant.

"Of course I will be," he replied, keeping his hand on her face for the time being. It'd linger there for awhile too. Shun would watch over her for now as she rested, glad to have her by his side.
