Vierra pulled a tattered old volume out of her cupboards. Humming a tune under her breath, she began to flip through the pages. She'd been commissioned to create a dish for the upcoming Christmas party and was more than happy to pitch in. Sure, she wasn't the most talented cook, but a little magic could spice up a treat. But which to choose?

"Aha! Ginger cookies. Perfect," she said to herself. "Now, do I have everything? That is the question." She ran through the ingredients several times before she gave up on memorizing them and took the book with her. She peered into her seemingly barren cupboards and claimed what ingredients she owned, and then merely summoned the rest that she couldn't find. She counted out each individual amount and stirred everything in according to the directions, then placed the finished concoction into the oven. She relaxed against the counter with a sigh. Hopefully these cookies turned out alright, if only just edible. She didn't want to poison the other attendees, of course, no matter how easily she could remedy the problem.

Finishing the cookies was the easy part. Thankfully, it hadn't turned out as bad as she'd expected, she she wouldn't need to use any more magic to prevent any issues that might come from her cooking. Vierra simply placed them on a decorative platter, adding a little bit of frosting on a few of the cookies to hide a bit of burning. Lastly, Vierra took the took the batches to the gala, pleased with her day's work. Finally! She could deliver the food and enjoy the day's festivities.

Flare smiled as they entered and began dancing together. Eventually they were voted out but Flare didn't care really. She wasn't even thinking about much at all when she allowed herself to relax against Hyas.
Declan grinned and led her out onto the dance floor and began to dance with his newest friend. This was already quite a bit of fun. Everyone was happy and cheerful which meant he was happy as well.
