Karuta kept her eyes forward, though the blush returned. S**t... so he DID see... "W-well... I'm obsessed with card games and gambling, as said before. Since that guy must have known everything around that place, we made a bet. If I win, then he would show me everything around the manor. If he won... well, let's not get into that. In any case, I won, mostly by luck but also because I knew that he was a bit of a pervert... U-um... Distracting him gives me an advantage, making him cause careless choices in choosing the cards..."

Karuta turned back to Ryou, hearing him smirk. Sure enough, she actually saw some emotion on his previously blank-expression face. Even if it was a smirk, at least it was something. "Well thank you," she said with a slight hint of sarcasm. "And I'll have you know that cheating is one of my specialties... at least when it comes to card games... I have yet to loose a bet..."

Karuta looked over him a bit before crossing her arms. "So if I win, you'll tell me information about you. If you win..." She paused and looked down, still having her arms crossed. "Honestly, I have no idea what to bet... Unlike that other guy where I knew exactly what he would want, I have no clue what you'd like out of me..."

Karuta blinked twice with the slightest hint of blush in her cheeks once again, only for it to fade once she nodded. "Alright then. If I win, I get information. If you win, you get a date..." She pulled out a deck of cards and took the four aces, jacks, queens, and kings from the deck. After shuffling the sixteen cards, she put them face down in four rows. Each card had the number 1-16 on the back. "Alright then. This game is set purely on luck of your draws, or if you can solve the riddle. 'When the Queen of Hearts and Jack of Spades are together, the King of Clubs is away with the Ace of Diamonds. For the Jack of Hearts, he watches his love the Queen of Spades from afar, but the Ace of Clubs and the King of Diamonds are closer than expected." She waved her hand once over the cards. "Recreate the story in the cards. All of them are in place, and all you have to do is flip them over. You can flip two cards in each row of four, but three wrong picks and you lose."

Ryou sat up looking down at the cards. "Dammit..." he muttered before looking over the cards, saying the story over and over in his head. For a moment he said nothing before looking up at her, cutting his eyes at her. "After locking in the bets, understand that if you cheat in anyway and I catch you, you forfeit." he said, stubbornly. It was the only way he'd play.

Karuta nodded and sat on her knees with her hands in her lap on the other side of the four rows of cards, watching Ryou with a small smile. "Cheating is impossible for me in this game since they need to be kept in this order. It's you who is in control of this game, and by your choices, you control the result."

Karuta's smile grew into a tiny smirk, but she remained sitting on her knees with her hands in her lap. It was the Ace of Hearts. "In the riddle, the Ace of Hearts has no part. Strike one~ If you'd like, you can have that card remaining face up so you don't forget that you've already picked that card."

Karuta's smirk remained the same even though the card was the Jack of Spades. "Well that's one of them right. There's still more to go though. There's two correct cards in each line, and so far you only have one card in one line."
