OK people, some writing and roleplaying tips.
The rule of thumb: 'show, don't tell.'
Using the active voice instead of the passive voice should help you show instead of tell.
Pay much attention to significant detail.
Start thinking of yourself as a film script writer instead of a fireside storyteller, and you should see your s**t starting to come into color.
Treat your work as if it's something you want to see on the New York Times Best Sellers list and later made into a film.

Best wishes in the next round. I wish we had more time to fight.

So if we're no longer fighting, can we post spectator posts in other fights, even if our fight was technically in the second round?

Reason would say yes as each fight, although the same round, are held at different times.

Just got one little complaint about my round: If it's a preliminary for round 2, why couldn't we just continue the fight in the current round instead of ruling a winner after 2 posts and giving them a bye? Cause this is the exact same way I lost last time.
Also, I only took 2 days to post after my opponent made an entrance and they didn't post at all after that.

The WTF Ninja Just got one little complaint about my round: If it's a preliminary for round 2, why couldn't we just continue the fight in the current round instead of ruling a winner after 2 posts and giving them a bye? Cause this is the exact same way I lost last time.
Also, I only took 2 days to post after my opponent made an entrance and they didn't post at all after that. Mainly because giving you more than seven days would be unfair to everyone else. A lot of the fights could benefit from more than seven days, but I have to stick to that limit, even though we did the round 2 fights earlier. As for the absence thing, the reason why it counted against you more was because you still could have posted between the start of the round and when your opponent posted. Entrance posts require no waiting for anyone else. Otherwise, you're gimping yourself by not showing up until your opponent does. Even a post saying you're waiting would have sufficed.
