Yori frowned "This was all my fault, if i would've been stronger then Yamato would be safe and you would be..." he cut himself off and sighed "Never mind...I'll find a way to get us back. Even if it means i have to stay here. Just as long as your safe." he said trailing off starting to get sleepy. He looked at the fire mesmerized.l "Hey! Check this out! I got a deer!" Yamato said as she dragged the animal, leaving it lay a foot away from the fire. Yori sat up and took out his knife. "If your queezy, then don't watch." with that he stabbed the knife in the stomach and dragged it down. He cut off the legs, skinned it, and took out the intestines. When he had finished he cleaned the meat off in the pond, thinly sliced it, stuck it on sticks and let it cook. He sighed when he sat down; his hand on his chest. "phew, that was a work out." he said with a pained smirk. Yamato placed her hands on his shoulders worried.

While she had been camping on her own, she had hunted game herself, so the sight of the dead deer didn't affect her. But what did worry her was Yori's condition. "Take it easy, Yori." she said quietly, coming to sit next to him. After what he had done to defeat De'Yuril, he seemed much weaker.

He smirked looking up at the sky and held onto Lydia's hand tightly. "Yamato...How did you resurrect me?" She looked to the side "I used the power that had been drained out of me." Yori let his head drop "Do you not remember the rest of the story?" Yamato's head snapped up, looking at him. "N-no." "I'll be leeching off of your power, Yamato. You'll die because i need your power to continue to live." He looked over to her gripping Lydia's hand tighter. "You knew that right? Tell me you knew that!" he said as his voice cracked. Yamato looked down shaking her head. Yori sighed and tilted his head back, looking at the sky again. "I came to save you and you're still going to die." he said with a small chuckle. Yamato rotated the meat, when it was finished she handed it out each stick to everyone.

Lydia looked down, a few tears welling in her eyes. Yamato would still die, sooner or later... She took a deep breath, though it came out shakily. Lydia held onto Yori's hand, not wanting to let go. He must be going through a lot, thought she.
When Lydia was handed the meat, she nibbled at it without much apetite. She didn't taste much of it. When she had finished, she put the stick to her side, gently unfurling her hand from Yori's. Instead, she put it around his torso, staying close to him. She knew everyone had to die, but she wished it weren't true.

Yori's facial expression showed surprise as Lydia wrapped her arm around him. He blushed a bit and continued to look down. He wrapped his arm around her as well and doing the same with his sister, holding onto them tightly. "Let's get some sleep. We'll have to start out as early as possible." he stated quietly. The next day Yori opened his eyes, but couldn't move. "Yamato! Wake up! Yamato!" He shouted pleadingly and panicked. Yamato jerked up and looked over at him "What's wrong Yori?!" "i-i can't move, Yamato." his sister looked at him scared with a mixed facial expression confused Quickly she extracted her power to her hand and held it to his chest. When he had absorbed it he started feeling his limbs. He didn't want to say that he needed more of her power and decided she would figure out that he would need more since he wasn't moving. Again Yamato extracted her power and held it in front of his chest. Yori sighed out of relief that he could move now. "Th-thank you, Yamato." She looked off to the side, stood up, brushed her pants down and picked up the backpack. Yori grabbed onto Lydia's hand, helping her up. "Time to go find a way out of here." he said trying to put a smile on his face. He didn't want the end to be sad. He wanted to make it memorable before they died, if they ever did. They started on a path and began to think about a way to get back. "So, Lydia can transport things and we might be able to use alchemy to open a door or summon one of those pools." Yori stated as he walked in the front with his staff. Yamato sighed "Yori, we don't know enough of alchemy to do that. I told you last night that we wouldn't be able to unless we took another lesson or more." Yori seemed to ignore her because he stated an idea "Maybe we could use our alchemy skills to make a door and then Lydia could use her transportation skills through the door." "We would need to know exactly where we would be going on Earth if that's the case. You would need a set destination or we may just end up somewhere else." Yamato stated. Yori stopped walking and then turned to Lydia "Hey! we could go back to that waterfall! Remember? It showed niagra falls through the water! Do you think it could work?" He asked

Lydia contemplated over this, holding her chin."Perhaps... But, how will we get back to the Falls? I don't even know where we are now, or how far away we are..." she said quietly, turning to look at the two.

Yori's enthusiasm died as he thought about that. He pounded his fist into his palm "Well we have to get back there no matter what!" he stated firmly as he started climbing a tall tree. Half way up the tree he stopped and looked to the side. He saw something moveing and didn't know what it was. He tried focusing his vision and saw that it was the spirit that had helped them from before. Yori shouted at the spirit, waving one hand to get his attention. Slowly the spirit realized who it was and floated over cautiously. Yori climbed down from the tree and hopped down on the ground. "hey there. Take us to the waterfall." Yori stated. The spirit looked at him for a bit as though contemplating whether he should take orders from him. "Why should i?" the spirit asked "because we need to get back to Earth!" Yori snapped. Yamato gently held onto her brothers arm. "We just want to know how to get back home, do you know the way? We're not even sure if our idea will work." the spirit looked over at Yamato considering her words "follow me." he said as he floated away. We came to a dead end; a rock wall. "Just walk through, you'll get back to Earth." the spirit stated "Thank you." Yori said as he walked through.

Lydia was skeptical about walking into a wall, but she followed Yori cautiously. She was surprised when she came out on the other side, at what seemed to be Earth. "Well, that was an easier solution." she stated quietly. Now, to find out where on Earth they were, literally.

Yamato came through last after thanking the spirit. They ended up in a cave. Yori activated his flames, illuminating the cave. When Yori looked down at his feet he noticed the small cave spirits, but instead of them dancing around him they were hiding behind his leg as though they were scared of something. Yori looked at them puzzled. "Somethings wrong here. These spirits are usually carefree and kind. Lydia, can you pick up anything that their saying?"

Lydia listened to them carefully, biting her lip once she had gotten enough information. "They're being tormented by a larger spirit... But they don't want to leave the cave. There's much chaos outside. They feel safer here." she said quietly, swallowing a bit. She held onto Yori's hand, not sure what to do next.

Yori jerked a bit when Lydia held his hand, but he held onto her hand as well and started walking. When they walked up far enough, there were two directions. "This looks familiar.." Yori said trailing off as he saw a huge spirit up ahead. He sighed "Man, we're going to be purifying so many spirits." he said as he slumped. He stood up straight again and swung his staff, throwing a ball of flames at the spirit up ahead. The spirit looked back at us, irritated. Yori made a barrier for everyone with his flames on the outside. The spirit ran up to Yori and howled in pain in the attempt to grab him. Yori let his staff become illuminated with flames and jabbed the spirit in the shoulder. He controlled his purification power so that he could ask it questions "What have you been doing here?! What's you're motive?!" He asked as if he would get an answer.

Lydia didn't hear an answer from the spirit, seeing it was in so much pain. "Let's just purify it." she said dryly, seeing that trying to find answers was a wastage of time. They were better off trying to get a bit closer home, and purifying who they could. There had to be another leading spirit on Earth, since De'Yuril was gone. Someone was in charge here, and Lydia wanted to find out who.

Yori frowned "What a shame, well enjoy your time in heaven." with that he added power to the flames completely purifying the spirit and ran to the exit, skidding to a stop. He saw spirits everywhere, there was no way they could leave without at least ONE spirit realizing. "Oh no!" Yamato whispered "How are we going to be able to purify all of these!" Yori looked back at her with a smile "I got this. Now that your power is mixed with mine i can do more. Stay here and protect yourselves." With that he made his barrier stronger and ran out of the cave. He sat down on the ground, looking like we was meditating, but his mouth was moving slightly as he chanted holy words. The spirits all came at him, screaming as they were stung by the flames. Yori continued chanting even though he felt as though the barrier would break any moment. He chanted faster and then stood up, holding his staff up to the sky. "I bid you free!" he shouted as blue flames engulfed everything as though it were a bomb. When Yamato's eyes adjusted to the normal lighting again she saw Yori kneeling and ran up to him. "Yori! Are you ok?!" she said gently wrapping her arms around him. he gasped breathlessly holding his chest again "Yeah, I guess i can't use too much power. My chest starts to hurt after a while." Yamato let go of her brother and extracted some of her power. Yori shook his head "You keep that, don't use it unless i can't move. You hear me?! You've got to live as long as possible." hey told her and got up, still out of breath. "Alright, Let's head home and prepare for this war."

Lydia frowned when she saw how out of breath Yori was, but he wouldn't listen, most probably, to reason. She patted his back a bit, "Yori, please be careful. Right now there's a lot of people who need you and Yamato." she said quietly. And then she began to walk, tracing all of the tracks and snapped twigs they'd left behind. She saw one of their camps, smiling a bit, and nodded. "We're on the right track. We'll be home by tomorrow." She then frowned a bit; she had no home. She was a wanderer. It wouldn't be right to invade their home, right? Lydia sighed softly, thinking about this.

Yori looked over at her, his deep breathing slowly a little. "You ok?" He asked a bit out of breath "You know you have a home now, right?" he said, his eyes smiling. "Don't worry, we'll get through this and we will live!" he said with thumbs up.
